Part 22

The 2 families gathered for breakfast, Savitri convinced Handa's to to leave 2mo ro instead of today, they agreed, soon the 3 brothers left for their married sisters hotel for the pag phera ceremony, Savitri talked to Pratham, that she wanted Maan to be married as quikly as possible, she told him about the morning keeping much of its part to herself. Pratham later went to the Villa to discuss things with Swaraj, Arambha and Prarambha.

They futhur ahd extensive discussions with the Handa's, later in the afternoon the 3 bro's came with Prena, and Muskan, then soon went to Kripa's house (her sasural is in Delhi)

Later in the afternoon Kripa also came, the new son ' in laws came by for dinner and thye would in the night take their newly wedded wives to their respective homes.

Everyone was happy, Swaraj called for their family priest to discuss Maaneet kundali, but he left in the morning and will be back after 1 day.

The phone rang, it was for Ranveer, his neighbour was calling, and every one became tense, phone conversation: hello koun hai/ yes due to some urgency we were not able to leave 2day/ will come after 2 or 3 days/ what a registery for Geet/ what does it say/ 2moro at what time/ 11:00am/ well thankyou ji I think I will come with Geet/ thanku so much ji/ the credit will definitely go to you if she achieves it/ ok ji sat siakal/ hangs up

Ranveer: kuch nahin Darjee, who Geet ka counseling letter aa gaya hai, oh Rajji tell Geet we have to leave in say 1hr 30 mins, call her, Darjee kal counseling hain 11 baje, so Geet and I will leave just now, we will have to get all the papers ready, b'coz if she gets the admission we will need documents etc., (Geet comes) oye beta ji ready ho lo who tere naal apne pass port size photo shoto hain (Geet nods in a no), oye hoye (looks here and there) are Maan sun (Maan was listening to the whole conversation attentively) betaji who apki Delhi mein instant Polaroid photo nikalte hain, zara iske 8 photo nikalwana,

Maan: Geet wash your face, and comb your hair properly, this photo is gonna be there permanently on your portfolio, and wear some dark colored clothes the photo will be B/W (Savitri smiles at his concern Geet leaves to get ready)

After say 15 mins Maan and Geet leave (Ranveer sent Geet with Maan as he wanted to discuss them with others)

In about 30 mins the snaps were ready; Maan did not like Geet leaving in a hurry on the other hand Geet was happy and sad, happy that finally she will be enrolling for the course sad being away from Maan.

Later Geet leaves with Ranveer

Next day was quite hectic for Geet, she reached late at nyt to HSPur prepared all her documents, in the morning went to raghav's house to get some last minutes tips as to what they ask during counseling and all, though Maan told her but his was the Delhi one, each state has a different way of dealing, ranveer asked Raghav to accompany them, Geet was very nervous, but all went well, she had topped the architecture enterance exam and had 24^th position in over exam, if she wants she could get any branch, the counsellrs again and again asked her to rethink about her options but she remained stable, and finally enrolled herself into Bachelor of Architecture, MACT, Bhopal., batch 95-96.

On the other hand Maan was missing her, he was quite nervous also, as to how she will stand the questions of the counsellers, his own was quite tough as he got 10^th position the counsellers were not ready to belive that on his own will he opted for Architecture instead of Mech and Electronics, same will go for Geet.

By the time they finished it was 4:00pm, Ranveer called Delhi and gave them the good news, Geet has to report within next 2 days to Bhopal and then on 12^th july and finally college will start on 4^th aug.

So it was decided that Swaraj will meet the priest and rest of the family will come back, and above all Geet will not go to Delhi as here she had to go to her school to withdraw certain documents and also had to get her 12^th marksheet

Maan was depressed and left for Bhopal the same night. No one tried to stop him, but one thing missed him that Geet was going there after 2 days.

2 days later Geet comes to Bhopal with Ranveer, Rajji and NT, when they arrive at Maan's place he had gone to some site near Bhel, Dev was there to welcome them, he had followed Maan on Savitri's insistence, the Handa's freshend up and left for the college, it was a huge 750 acre of institute.

Meanwhile after finishing his site visit Maan has to collect some survey documents which he was told is done by MACT students, and they were with the Deptt of Architecture, MACT, he has to take permission to access them and use them, therefore he went to the college, there he met the Head of the Deptt and waited for the documents to be photocopied.

On the other hand Geet fulfilled all the formalities, Dev escorted her to show the Deptt where she will study, NT and Rajji remained at the house and Ranveer found someone he knew so Dev and Geet moved to the Deptt,

Geet: hey jiju I feel that your bro is somewhere very near (Dev LOL) so saaliji he is near he is in the same city is it not near (Geet hits him on his arm) Jiju near means as if just the next block

Meanwhile Maan waiting for the photocopies feels as if Geet is near, inhales deeply why do I feel as if she is coming near me, he closed his eyes and smiled, he was sure she's near somewhere but how, unknowingly he said a little loud tumhari khushboo yahan kaise/ someone hugged him from back saying aise, he jerked back seeing the girl was Sameera, he was annoyed

(At the same time Geet came there and saw Sam hugging Maan)

Maan noy aware that Geet was really there): Sameera how you do (pushed her gently) and what are you doing, you are a teacher here not a student,

Sam: am fine, and you felt me ya you blushing omg Maan, and what about this my being a teacher come on Maan every one knows what we are to each other

(Geet instantly turned back and hid her, pulled startled Dev with her)

Though Maan was annoyed he never said anything to Sam as she was her consistent friend for last 7 yrs, he did not encourage her but at the same time ever discouraged her.

Geet and now Dev saw everything as well as heard everything, Sam was like blah blahand Maan justed nodded now and then, soon the peon brought the documents and Maan took her leave she pecked on his cheek and said mind a lunch he said no he was busy she said bye.

Geet thinks fast , its confrontation time she did not like this public display she clearly saw that he was annoyed but still she needs to talk to him, she requests Dev to let her go with Maan and he come with his father Dev says Ok but both come soon day 1 hr will be enough, she said ok and ran to Maan's waiting car with Dev, dismissed the driver and took the keys sat at the driving place, Maan came hurriedly sat in the car he was too occupied to notice that his driver opened the car gate but did not sit on the driving seat instead of him Geet was sitting there, Maan rubbed his head God why I am feeling as if Geet is somewhere near I have lost it.
