It was satisfying to watch the discomfiture written all over Alexis's face. Tara was enjoying this moment with glee. Her love rat was about to get a lashing of revenge served cold. In his case it would be a mixture of both. She would savour watching him hurt the way she'd been hurting from his betrayal. She'd given him everything he could have ever asked for and more apart from turning into a vampire. It was one vice she'd had was her magic. Turning into a vampire would have cost her the power to cast spells. It was her passion. She'd never in a million years have guessed Alexis would cheat on her. Alexis took her trust and threw it in the gutter. All it took was a few months for her to be separated from his to ruin their 50 years together. Tara had felt guilty for feeling something towards Kabir before but now she'd realised what the signs meant. Her attraction to another man meant her bond with Alexis was broken. She was too busy sorting out the problem with Maithali, the Hunter's and now Sid coming back to realize the truth. Tara felt like the dumbest person on the planet for placing so much trust in Alexis. She should have known better. Love is blind. Its true what people said. Tara was blinded by Alexis but now the blindfold was off.

Tara had tied Alexis up in mid air with magic-I can't believe what we've been reduced to Alexis. If U think i'm letting U get away without feeling my wrath then you've got another thing coming. (Tara laughed boring her eye's so Alexis could see the fire in her eyes.) Shame U had to end this the way U did. I hate liars and cheaters. Most of all i hate murderers Alexis. U and Sid are two vampires i detest the most in the world after the Originals that is but now i think U both are within their wavelengths. How could U do this to me Alexis? I know vampires lack a heart but U we're different.

Alexis braved Tara's eyes burning his brain-Different? I'm not Abhay! The weak vampire U chose to be with over me. U say he is just a friend but i know what you've been up to with him. Sleeping around with him. I see it all Tara. U think i'd stay faithful while U swan off with lover boy.

Tara shot an electric bolt at Alexis making him convulse-Don't U dare turn this back at me. I've been faithful to the very end. It's U who strayed and U have the nerve to twist it back at me. You've always been jealous of Abhay. Now you've palled up with Sid. One psycho to another is just great. He's hated Abhay since his human existence and U let him get into your thick head. Such a shame Alexis you've never used your brain. Always let others manipulate U but this is where we start afresh.

Alexis grew grim with his eyes darkening-U don't want to do this Lexie. Just let me go. I won't get in your way with Abhay. I swear. U can do what U want with him.

Tara orbed another electric shock through Alexis-There U go again. Spouting off about Abhay. Your insecurities know no bounds do they? Alexis found his head hurt. He felt queasy. He screamed her name-Tara!!!!!!!

Tara laughed taking out a whip coating it in silver-That's right Alexis scream my name. U know how i like to hear my name through your lips. This is about to heat up now. I know how much U used to love me doing this to U in the past but this time its really going to sting.

Alexis stopped twirling around. His eye's locked in with Tara's-Seriously this is my punishment. Getting whipped. I can't believe i got so worked up before.

Tara seethed in Alexis stupidity-U really are dumb. (She started lashing him with her hands. Lacerating Alexi's skin (Tara cackled in glee listening to Alexis's shout out in agony)U feeling the after effects baby. Is this stinging yet? I think i can do better. (Alexis's skin burnt at the direct contact with the silver coated whip.) I wanna see U burn literally. I want to hear the screams. Physical pain is bearable but its the mental infliction i want to test out as a torture method on U.

Tara mocked Alexis-Been there done that Alexis. U weren't very good anyway. Your threats mean nothing to me. Alexis attempted to move his arms but he was helpless-Tara this isn't U. Give me another chance. Let me make it better.

Tara raised her eyebrows tapping her finger against the table watching Alexis's eyes blacken with fury at her. She licked Alexis's blood with her tongue then spat it out again revolted at the images she'd had the misfortune to envision-U really are one sick puppy. U killed the girl after??????U and Sid deserve each other. U can't pacify me with your sweet words. They are empty just like U are.

Alexis panted out of exhaustion-I still love U Tara. I love U like crazy. Please give me another chance.

Tara ignored Alexie's pleas. She walked around stalking Alexis. He was right. Tara wasn't into this. It was the rage within her talking but Alexis had to suffer. He had to see. She couldn't kill him. it would make her as bad as him but she had to make him feel human emotion. Tara's voice softened whispering-I wish i could go back and undo the past but i can't. U can't give me back the years i've wasted on U. U can't bring people back to life. U will never change Alexis. Once a cheat always a cheat. Sid's influence no doubt but i won't risk U endangering Abhay or any of my friends. I can't trust U anymore. This mess can't be rectified. It must end.

Alexis begged Tara huffing in a state of loss-I love U Tara. I still love U.

Tara knew Alexis was sincere when he said he loved her but the damage was done. In a grave voice-It's a little too late for us Alex. A moment ago U were adamant on screwing me over and now U claim U love me. It's too extreme. I can't take this s**t no more. We are over. I am dead to U Alex. Dead. U did this to us. Not me.

Alexis showed remorse in his eyes. He felt he'd royally messed this one up. He took Tara for granted-It doesn't change how i feel Tara. In time i know U can forgive me.

Tara remained unmoved by Alexis shaking her head. Her eyes betrayed her letting out tears of relief. Tears and Tara didn't go hand in hand but this marked the end of an era. She closed her eyes shut tight blasting dormant echoes of all the pain Alex had inflicted on his innocent victims. Then she relayed her own emotional imbalance to his conscience-I'm sorry Alex but U must feel. It's the only way U can ever mend your ways. Redemption is a road less travelled due to its rocky state but U must learn to be humane.

Alexis saw rushes of people he'd hurt and killed through the centuries he'd been around. Their psyche has clung on to his subconscious. He'd felt the burst of Tara's own afflictions. He'd truly hurt her. He could see to what extent he'd damaged her trust forever. Alexis regretted his appalling behaviour. He screamed for Tara to stop hitting him with these intense soul wrenching memories. He wasn't equipped to deal with emotions on such a level. It was blinding his senses.

Tara had enough of Alexis. She couldn't bear to be in the same room as him now. She was afraid of her own mental state. Alexis was repenting already but she couldn't go back. She could never condone his weakness. She let him stay at her place taking Rosa with her to Misha's.

The Dobrial house

Kabir was at Misha's unloading all the gear they'd bought from his shopping trip for Pia's party. He couldn't wait for Pia's arrival. He'd hoped she was recovered now. He was beginning to see the error of his ways. Pia needed Abhay more than she needed Kabir. He could see how much she loved Abhay but it didn't mean this didn't sting. Misha was a great friend to both of them. always spreading her wisdom around. He hated how right on the money she was at times. He needed to move on but how? This was the question he wanted the answer to. How did one lick their wounds and move on? It seemed like a simple question but Kabir was too engrossed in Pia for so long he didn't know how to get over her. Pia was a remarkable girl. He couldn't comprehend how difficult this was going to be, tonight Abhay was bringing Pia back. He knew the green eyed monster would make an appearance. Abhay and he didn't see eye to eye.

Misha helped Kabir bring all the ingredients to her kitchen area where their cooks were preparing the party food. They needed fattening up thought Misha-I'm so chuffed U popped round Kabir. Dad's throwing this get together. He wasn't us to suffer.

Arnab cleared his throat at Misha's words-Kabir beta take a seat. You've not been around our place for a while.

Kabir greeted Arnab with a smile-I've been busy. Dad's been focused on his business and with Danish and Panchi's breakup i wasn't sure if it was a good idea me popping over.

Arnab took a somosa from one of the plates with Misha snatching it back on the plate-I only want one.

Misha cheekily eyed her Dad-Ok but the rest are for the party.

Arnab moaned-The cooks ours and U are making the poor lady create more food for your party. I think someone here needs to pay the lady extra don't U?

Misha grinned mischievously rocking side to side over Kabirs shoulder-Exactly what i was thinking Pops. U give her an extra 50 rupees from you're pocket. Isn't he the best employer ever? (Misha gave her Dad a light pat on the back.)

Arnab had his arms on his hips-Kabir this is what girls do to U. Rob U of every penny U have. Don't fall for their antics. Be single as long as U can otherwise you'll repent it for life.

There was a knock on the door. Madhoo answered the door brimming with a smile-Rosa Hi and Tara come on in girls. I'll go get Misha.

Misha ran to Tara eyeing her with a worried expression hugging her whispering in her ears-Have U dealt with U know who? So fast already. I thought you'd take your sweet time.

Tara's voice wavered lightly with her dark eyes looking down at the ground-I left him at ours. He's getting a taste of his own medicine as we speak. I just couldn't find pleasure in watching him shriek in pain. I'm not a sadist and nor am i heartless. I'll head back later to release him. i needed to take a breather.

Misha enthused-You're always welcome here Tara. If it was up to me i'd have skinned the jack a**. We're almost done with the party food.

Tara nodded Kabir's way-Hey i'm sorry for shifting all the heavy lifting off to U.

Kabir shrugged his shoulders-It's nothing. I needed to keep busy.

Misha had an idea-So U guy's are already here. i might as well lay this out now. Pops has a wish for all my friends to have dinner at ours tomorrow. I told him its lame and us happening youngsters have a life and all but please don't let me suffer alone. Rosa and Tar U must come. I need U guys here OK. Kabir's has no choice in the matter. He's my homeboy and all so U two are coming right?

Rosa grinned-I'm in. If Pia's coming here then so will i? This is fr her benefit so yeah.

Misha was curious as to why her Dad wanted all of them at theirs. He was behaving rather peculiar about Pia in general. Does he know what happened to her? Misha beamed brightly-I think Dad's feeling paternally towards Pia. He's a little protective about her. rightly so she's like another daughter to him and she needs family around her. damn she needs people around her.I know today we are doing this for her but i think it would be a good change for us.

Tara added softly-Yeah Pia is going to need all the people she can get.

Rosa brightly added-We all need cheering up. U as well Tara. Don't worry yaar over old news. Look ahead. There's always tomorrow. I can see new light headed your way.

Misha clapped her hands-We still have to find out when the happy couple are arriving.

Rosa chimed in enthusiastically-Soon.

Tara was distant-Rosa and I better set up. We'll catch U later.

Misha waved them out-Don't worry Tara. We'll get through this together.

Tara smiled back-Thanks. Make sure U drop by. We need people. We haven't invited Ruhi and Angad or any of her classmates. Panchis coming right?

Misha nodded-Bye.

Rosa with Tara-What are we going to do about Sid? He's already there.

Tara prayed he didn't get to Pia- Just pray.

On the road trip Pia took in the scenery. It was a different experience being with Abhay had made this look so much more thrilling. She could feel the wind in her hair. Pia didn't want to leave behind those intimate moments behind. She wanted Abhay more now than she did the first time she'd laid eyes on him. could love grow stronger? Pia didn't think this was possible at the time because her love for Abhay transcended normalcy. She thought she loved him more than her life itself but this felt too much than she could put into words. Pia stroked her neck feeling the love bites and then her realization struck.

Pia pulled Abhay out of his serene mood grabbing his arm-We have to go back. I left my pendant.

Abhay couldn't help but chuckle at Pia's forgetfulness-I'll go get it Pia. U stay in the car.

Pia refused point blank-No way. I'm coming with U Abhay. It will be good to spend more time together in the car. Just U na I alone for a little longer. Besides you're allergic to Silver. I'm not letting U risk your health because of my stupidity.

Abhay tried again to persuade Pia-It will be quicker if i went. Why did U take your pendant off anyway?

Pia reddened as she shyly answered-So U and I could get U know? I didn't want. (Pia saw Abhay's playful eyes glued to hers and his lips twitched to a broad smile) U are so enjoying this aren't U? U just love watching me blush.

Abhay did a U-turn with his car and changed gears-This will set us back by an hour Pia. U better buckle up.

Pia moaned-Why?

Abhay in his monotone voice-I'm going to speed up. I know U want more alone time but at this rate you'll get bored of me. Do U want to chance it Pia?

Pia gave Abhay a dirty look-Are U trying to wind me up Abhay? Like i can ever get bored of U. Chances are you'll tire of me and leave. i'm pretty sure you're fed up of saving my hide all the time.

Abhay joked-I am a little fed up of having to play Hero every time. I'm not getting paid for my hard work now am i?

Pia smacked Abhay playfully-That better be a joke because i'll skin U otherwise.

Abhay pretended it hurt-U are getting stronger Pia. I don't want my a** getting whooped by a girl do i? Tara would poke fun at me.

Abhay pressed the breaks-Here we are. I'll nip up and get it for U.

Pia opened the Cabin doors rushing towards teh drawers. She found her pendent placing it around her neck.Pia heard someone slam the door shut behind her-Abhay i told U i won't be long. Let me just put the clasp on.

Sid loved the sound if this girls voice. She sounded so cute. Abhay's kind of girl-Take all the time U want.

Pia finished and turned around quickly to see who this strange person was-U are U? What are U doing here?

Sid came out of the shadows grinning away with glee but his features soon turned into a mix of mystery then hurt but mostly baffled by how this girl came to be. He gained composure straightening his tie. He playfully winks at Pia-Sid. Mai... U and I have someone in common. I came to kill U.

Pia slowly moves away from the desk area towards the balcony. She steps backwards undoing the latch on the bottom ends-Sid! (Pia's eyes open wide in shock. She remembered him from Maithali's memories of him) Nooooooo!!!! It can't be. U....want to kill me?

Sid watched Pia's expression change as he walks towards her slowly sniffing the atmosphere in the room. It reeked of Abhay. The girl before him amused him and confused him-U don't seem surprised by who i am. Maithali is this U?

Pia opened the windows-No. I'm Pia.

Sid came close to Pia their faces within touching distance. He sniffed Pia and took in her fear-No U aren't her are U Pia? U look so pale. I've scared U haven't I? I'm sorry for my behaviour. I can be a little intimidating at times. Where is he Pia? U smell of him. I can tell he's had his fill of U Pia. U really need to up your taste in men. Abhay's so bland. Pia slapped Sid for his brazen words-You're sick! I don't even know U and you're pulling this sh*t. Let me pass.

Sid didn't move a muscle menacingly stood firmly with his arm leaning against the wooden walls of the balcony pushing Pia to the edge-Not till i see my little brother. We have a score to settle. I suppose i can kill U and then he'll probably come running for vengeance. After all U aren't Maithali right? So you're expendable. This way we're one short on another girl with Maithali's face. Abhay loses out again.

Pia didn't want Abhay to come up. She decided rather than he sense she we're in danger she'd rather fall over screaming his name. Abhay would catch her in no time. He'd done it before-Don't come any close to me. I'm warning U. I'll jump.

Pia looked down again-I'll really jump.

Pia screamed Abhay's name and jumped. Abhay got out the car feeling Pia's safety at risk and caught her-We have to move. NOW. Don't ask just do as i say. Now please.

Abhay carries Pia in his car and hits the gas straight to the floor heading all the way back to Dehradun while Sid watches on in surprise. The girl had captured Abhay in all ways possible. He could tell Abhay had emotionally attached himself to this mortal human.
