Discovering Abhay's relationship with Maithali on google was hard to swallow. The information was replaying in Pia's head like a bad record. Of all the things to find on the web about Abhay and Maithali this Pia did not see coming. Metz and Maithali were the same person only the connection was never made. Tara wasn't much use in uncovering anything. The woman was keeping Abhay well guarded and Rosa only gave Pia the same old you're not ready for it speech or that some things can only be seen to believe. Pia has had enough of playing hide and seek with her feelings for Abhay. It was time to face facts the guy was torn. He was craving for Maithali and Pia knew her existance was torturing him. She was a constant reminder to Abhay of what he'd lost. Finding out about Maithali was the best thing for Pia. At least she knew what she was up against. She couldn't compete with a ghost. Pia was still struggling to come to terms with Abhay's past. It was at the back of her mind. The questions, the possibilities of Abhay even surviving for over a century. How old was Abhay? Maithali? What are they? Were they even human? Well Pia figured obviously Maithali was a ghost after all it was her spirit that was haunting her in the nights. That cry was soul shattering. How much Maithali must be suffering? Being trapped in the Qila for a long time with no company. Her ache for her lost love who she must have loved to the extent that her soul was still around just to be with him. Pia could relate to the lady after all Abhay had that effect on her. Pia would walk through fire for Abhay to see him smile at her just one time. Give him anything he wanted even if it was her own life. It wasn't like she was killing herself. Just giving someone a chance to get the life they couldn't have. Nothing noble about it. Moving back to Abhay. Pia contemplated on all the possible solutions for Abhay being alive and well still looking as youthful as ever. Was Abhay immortal? Pia recalled Rosa'a reading a week ago something about a beacon well now Pia knew who she was the beacon for. Rosa also mentioned Abhay being the walking undead.Pia wished she'd checked google for the answers but with Rosa and Tara present not much she could do about it. Abhay always came in to save the day. He'd always came to protect her from harm. How did he do that? Save her countless times? At the time it seemed a little farfetched but now Pia wasn't so confident on Abhay being normal. Is he taking some potion of something to keep him looking young from Tara. She was a witch who'd mastered the dark arts. Maybe she found a way to live forever. Tara mentioned that Abhay had to be emotionally healed long time ago but how long ago would that be? After all they were supposed to be teens right and if Maithali was around the 18^th Century then how? Nothing made sense. Did Maithali know about any of this? About Abhay's long life? Well she was about to find out the hard way.

Out the back Pia peered out the living room window and saw Rosa troubled. Pia had to do this even if Rosa didn't agree with the methods of getting the information. Even id Pia wasn't thinking of giving herself to god who because Maithali as a person might not be a good person but then again could anyone who Abhay loved be so evil? Piya shuddered to even suggest such a notion because she couldn't chicken out. Pia would still have had to go back to the Qila for her mothers last gift to her the S pendent. No force on the planet was going to stop her from retrieving it back even at her own peril. Besides who else would go get it for her anyway Abhay her saviour couldn't face his demons and she couldn't blame him and she'd never ask any of her friends to risk their neck for her. Pia went upstairs for her bag and then rushed downstairs to the kitchen to get some salt. She'd read on the internet about how to steer spirits away from U with salt. Who knew if this myth about defences against spirits were true but Pia had to make a deal with Maithali. She didn't want her body to be used for evil or to hurt her loved ones. Pia didn't even know what she was getting herself in for. It's not like she'd done this before. Now her main dilemma was to get away undetected by well everyone. Seemed like a simple thing to do but Abhay was watching her every move. The witches had their mojo in full gear which was a hurdle she doubted she could do anything about anyway. Misha, Kabir, Tracker and Angad were all doing their own competitive thing. Angad and Tracker with their lists on who the hottest guys and girls were while Misha and Kabir were arm wrestling. What could she do? How to get away? This would be much easier to do at night but she needed the daylight. It was a pretty long walk. Pia came out the back door wearing her flats in her long black dress. She was in a depressing mood. Pia thought hard for Tara knowing full well the witch would come out the back. Just like clockwork.

Tara shifts her authority over Pia-What the hell do U think U are playing with Pia? I know i don't go meddling into other people's lives and what U do with yours is your own business but this is a suicidal mission. If Abhay finds out he will be very angry and trust me U don't ever want to see him angry.

Pia moves back away from Tara's glare-Tara i don't have time for lectures and what Abhay would do because i don't give damn about how he will feel because he will be getting just what he wants his beloved back. I just need a diversion. Something to keep everyone off my tail until i get to my destination. That's where U come in. I need U to do this for me. I don't know how Abhay manages to find me but he just does it. This is my only hope. Rosa won't do it so i only have U to count on.

Tara snatches Pia's bag searching through it and her eyes light up with approval-So U really have been thinking this through on some level. Salt. Very clever Pia. Should do the trick until U run out of it. Do U seriously think that Abhay won't find out about this stupid half baked plan of yours for a stupid pendent. Is it even worth risking your soul for it because trust me once you've lost that it's very hard to get it back. I had a dealing with one person who did this and came out messed up. Took me 10 years to straighten them out. 10 years! Let me give U advice. Two souls cannot inhibit One body. That means One soul has to flee or become submissive. You'll be a sitting duck Pia. So don't mess with the unknown. Smell the roses Pia.

Pia still defiantly holds her stance folding her arms to protect her body-That stupid pendent is my only connection to my birthmother. U might not remember what it's like to have that one thing to hold on to due to your many years on this planet. That's right i know U are pretty old despite your youthful looks i know both U and Abhay have been around a while but for me it's something i can't lose. Losing my soul is better than reliving this pain i have here in my heart. To love someone with a passion that completely blindsides U yet not being able to have that person in your life is too much for me to bear. Don't U want Abhay to be happy? I do even if his happiness does not lie with me because that is what love is. To do what U can for those U love. If my soul is what's at stake then that's the price i'm willing to pay.

Tara pushes Pia with her arms against the wall-U are mad. Loco. I wish i could get into your mind and make U do things my way. Force U to stop this insanity. Just because U can't have Abhay is not the end of the world. Hell Abhay's been living with this pain of not having Metz. Maithali in his life for centuries. He can live without her even if he's trapped himself in his own little bubble. He's a big boy Pia and sacrificing yourself isn't going to make Abhay feel any better because it will only end bad. U think he can live with himself if U do this. It will only strengthen his pain and force him to relive his own personal hell. He has two people in his mind Pia. U are both becoming one person for him. Eventually he'll have to make the ultimate decision but let him do it in his own time Pia. (Tara softens her tone of voice) I know i'm not crazy on U but i hate to admit it U are growing on me. I can honestly see the depth of your love for Abhay. It knows no boundaries but Pia Abhay is not as strong as he makes out. He shows people a front. I shouldn't tell U this but emotionally he isn't all there.

Pia starts to see Tara's point of view. She begins to weaken in her stand-Tara i understand your plight but even if i don't go through with this she will still call for me. U know this as much as i do. Maithali has the pendent. Rosa even said she will call for me until she has what she wants. Me. Its deafening. Her pain i feel as if they were my own. She has been waiting for a very long time for Abhay to return and it pains her that he can't hear her cries. I can't ignore them. I have to get my pendent back. At all cost.

Tara begins to come up with a solution-Pia I will try to do what i can but the Qila is off bounds for our magic. It's protected by a curse. Its a way to separate Abhay from Maithali. She can never touch him or communicate with him just like he can't with her. He's the only person who can help U. There is a downside though Maithali's call for U will strengthen if he enters the Palace due to a bond all three of U share. Love for Abhay and the fact U look like her. Wiccan powers are useless against Maithali, Pia thats why Rosa and I have our hands tied. However there maybe a way but U will have to stay in a protected pentagon we create for U. Which U cannot leave at any cost. Once U get out U can't get back in.

Pia curiously asks-So is Maithali related to me in any way?

Tara gives some answers-I'm not breaking any pact with Abhay on this matter as he never knew U would ever exist for me to spill the beans to besides this is in the history books and you've already checked out Maithalis factfile on Google thanks to Rosa even Abhay isn't aware of all the facts. No to your question. U are just a way out for Maithali. Part of the curse i'm afraid. No blood connection. U are not her. She is not U. Both of U have separate souls so neither of U are reincarnated. How to put it simply. U are a get out clause created by Maithali's Dai Maa in her remorse for separating the lovers. It was all the Kings doing really. I don't know all the facts Pia. Just some.

Pia pushes her luck-And is Abhay human? I mean Both of U have lived a long time.

Tara chuckles at Pia's nerve-U don't give up do U? U already know the answer Pia. I cannot break my vow on Abhay. He will remain elusive to U Pia. Don't even dare to uncover Abhay's secret. U already know too much and if they find out U will not be spared. Abhay can't save U from them. From his kind. U think Abhay can be a bit much wait till the others come for U there's another whole meaning to nasty Pia. We already have the hunters search party after him he doesn't need any more drama in his life. He already has enough enemies including his own family members. (Tara growls out the warning)Butt out of his personal life. What U seek will only lead to danger. Do U want to risk Abhay's existence?

Pia backs off-Tara. Thanks for putting me straight. I know i'm a handful but U really are a good friend. Abhay is lucky to have U in his life. I won't go looking into Abhay's life but the truth always has a way of coming out. He might have hid behind a faade all these years but it's already slipping. I mean how difficult can it be to handle. I know both U and Rosa are witches can anything get any freakier than that.other than the ghost of Maithali trying to own my body which isn't normal by any means. (Tara glares at P ia) Fine i get the picture. Stay out of his life yada yada.

Tara gets past Pia trying to escape any more Q and A's. She'd done her good deed for the day-Oh and one last thing. I'd seriously think about getting rid of that tacky talisman U have round your neck Pia. Doesn't suit U. Next time U want one of those pick out a necklace you'll like wearing 24/7.

With that Tara scurried off to Abhay. What was she going to tell Abhay that his dead girlfriend is trying to get back into this plane using his current love interest as a vessel. Abhay sure knew how to pick them. Both women were strong willed but this Pia was a law on to herself. Lead by emotions that girl would hav gone through with this foolish plan of hers to get her a** nailed. The dead were not to be taken lightly. They were devious and very tricky. They weren't to be trusted and Maithali was not dangerous when she was alive didn't mean that she wasn't a threat in her spirit form. Who knows she might be mental through all this time alone in that haunted palace. Tara shivered to even think what she must have gone through. Tara just hoped Pia steered clear from ever figuring out the reality of Abhay's existence because she wouldn't be able to handle it. Tara was dating a vampire and there were times she was a little uncomfortable. The repercussions if Pia ever found out weren't worth thinking what the price would be. The family would send someone they trusted to finish the job permanently. Abhay wouldn't have a choice in the matter. Pia would be dead before he even had a chance to save her because the person knew Abhay's every move inside out. There was a reason why nobody in Abhay's household would ever mention him. He was beyond powerful. He hated human with a passion. He hated Abhay for his stupidity for cattle and well for single handedly putting his family in this situation in the first place. He held no prisoners. No she didn't even want to go there. Tara felt sorry for Pia. She knew how alluring Abhay was. Hell his whole kind were that way. So entrancing and hypnotic. Anybody would be drawn to them. It was the pull their way of capturing their prey. Tara found Abhay upstairs staring at Pia walking off to the shore. Abhay was looking rather pale than usual. Drat she hoped Abhay didn't overhear her conversation with Pia. She'd forgotten in her heated moment with Pia about Abhay's super hearing. No he didn't suspect a thing. He would have done his typical frown with his eyes changing colour to violet when he was angry. Good job she manged to stop Pia in time against her own judgement.

Tara rushed to Abhay's side checking his eyes for bloodlust. She scolded Abhay-Can U at least take care of yourself for once Abhay. Making yourself starve to death isn't the answer.

Abhay stood up with his back against the window-I've ran out of my supply. I over drink when i'm nervous. (He turned round in record speed to check Pia's whereabouts). Tara i don't feel like drinking anyway. I just know something big is going to happen. It's not natural. I know she's in danger. Even without your powers i know something is after Pia. I don't know what i'd do if i lost her. U are the only person i can talk to about this. The only one who understands my inner turmoil. I've tried everything in my power to push her out. I seem to have an opposite effect on Pia. She seems to come even closer. Tara she's broken every barrier i put up. How can a mortal girl have such a power over me? Now something wants her and i'm worried sick. I know she's keeping something from me. I just wish i could get into her mind and............

Tara mutters-U and me both........

Abhay lets out a groan of frustration-The girl is a magnet for danger. It's like she attracts it everywhere she goes. Then i get a call. As strange as it sounds i know she's in touble and i just follow her without my will. Now i just can't help it but to chase after her. Its so bad i am beginning to feel her emotions. They are so overwhelming. I can now relate to how she feels about me.

Tara hated watching Abhay this way. It cut her up inside. Damn U Pia-U need to feed Abhay. It's vital U do.

Abhay gnarled at his need-I wish this wasn't necessary. But not now. I'm not upto it yet. So what were U two discussing out there? I tried to listen in but someone was interrupting my concentration.

Abhay pointed at Rosa. Tara was glad Pia and her conversation was safe-Don't U just hate witches? (Laughing nervously) She knows about Maithali Abhay! Rosa kinda showed her the way through the web. Technology really has moved on. Just a shame U didn't cover your tracks very well. I mean U are a wiz on hacking in computer systems but U didn't once think about changing the history that others have on your relationship with Metz.

Abhay mad a himself-God i didn't think that anybody would even delve into all that. Ahh (He hits the wall in anger with some plaster coming off). So whatelse does she know? That i'm a vampire?

Tara replayed-The girls not a retard Abhay. She has witnessed two people with Wiccan powers in action. She wasn't surprised that you've been alive this long. Just curious about how this came to be. Pia has this notion that i created some potion to help us extend our life which i must say the girl has some imagination but i can now officially say out loud that she is deliriously in love with U mate with every cell in her body and is willing to do anything for U. ANYTHING ABHAY! U can push her all U like but she's not budging Abhay. I think she's giving U a run for your money on that front. I thought U had it bad with Maithali but Pia has one over U. I can see how she's managed to get in there. It's not just because she looks like her is it Abhay? (Pointing to his heart then giving him a hug)

Abhay remains silent. There was no denying it but he'd given himself to Pia but his guilt for betraying Maithali. For allowing another woman in was a sin. He fought so hard to keep hanging on. Abhay was Oscillated by Pia that whatever he did backfired on him because she was a stubborn girl. She wasn't falling for any of his ploys. He never slept but those dark hours were filled by his thoughts on Pia. It was getting worse by the day. Abhay knew the depths Pia would go through for him. he'd felt it when he'd kissed her. He almost drowned in that moment suffocated by the immense blast Pia threw at him with visions popping in his head wishing she was his first choice. She'd even wanted to trade places with Maithali and he knew she meant it which was scaring him. she'd reached the end of her tether. Could he dare to go that extra mile? The two things keeping him back were his conscience and his secret. The latter was the killer as anyone who knew this would have to pay with their life. He dreaded to think about that. His family were crazy at its best. His Mom and Dad were nothing compared to who Pia would face if she ever knew. He hated Maithali with a passion. Good job she was dead Abhay thought sadly but if he came face to face with Pia. Hell would break loose.

Tara knew what Abhay was fearing-Abhay don't think about that. He's not worth it and if he ever got wind of this he'll kill U both and those who support this meaning my games up but despite all the negativity my dearest friend i'm willing U to take the bullet. Take that leap of faith and be with the one U love. How long do U think U can keep up with this pretence? Eventually U will have to give in and i fear by then it will be too late. She is still willing to be yours regardless of the truth Pia uncovered today. I'd have run a mile if i wasn't a witch but Pia has accepted all of your baggage. Nobody can reason with her or talk her out of loving U Abhay. U tried and failed mate accept it and accept her. Its what U desire the most. I didn't know how to tell U this but Pia is in grave danger. U see she's lost her pendent and something is trying to break free. Oh and the pendent is in the Qila.

Abhay became agitated by this news-Let me guess the rest. Pia is willing to risk her life for that because her Mom gave it to her. It all makes sense now. Her sleepwalking in the night. Her being there again this morning. I didn't one minute think to enter that dump.the last time i went in there was when i was still human. If i get my hands on this low life i'll personally make them pay for such a mundane thing to. So who is doing the summoning? This calls for some hefty power. U make sure Pia steers clear from there.

Tara couldn't disclose on who the culprit was. Could Abhay take it? He was already fighting a war with himself. She couldn't gamble Pia's life with a dead ghost's will to overtake Pia's body. Tara didn't care how much Abhay loved both women in the end one would lose out-Fine. You'd have to make a move Abhay and fast. I'm not sure how long Pia can lasy. How long we can keep he safe.

Abhay zoomed out of there in a flash. He saw Pia by the shore. God she was beautiful-Tara is asking for U. Something both Rosa and Tara need to do with U. The two witches have surprised me by their sudden need to combine their powers for U. What did U do to them?

Pia breathed in deeply taking in Abhays 'striking appearance-Oh I'll be there in a little bit.

Abhay could feel Pia was lost-Penny for your thought.

Pia smiled which disappeared when she saw Abhay's pale face. She noticed the lack of colour-No. I'm just getting my head sorted. It's all over the place right now. I know Tara gave U the 411 on what i already know. Don't worry your secrets safe Abhay. I get why U want this a secret. U don't need to worry about me.

Abhay asked Pia with his eyes betraying him filled with hurt-Why didn't U tell me about what was going on with U? I can't believe U Pia. (He raised his voice at her. Fury took over him. he was cross with her for not telling him the truth. He grabbed hold of her shaking her) Risking your life for a pendent. I know it's your mothers but your life is valuable.

Pia bellowed-Valuable to who Abhay? I'm worthless! I kept it a secret same reason U kept yours. Not everything should be on display. I've humiliated myself enough in front of U. Do U think i like being saved all the time? How weak it makes me look? Some truths are hard to take but we manage somehow to accept it. I get the whole history lesson on your beloved Metz or is it Maithali. U underestimate me. What i can or can't do. U know what? Just get out of my way Abhay. I can't do this right now. Not the way i'm feeling inside. It's too much. You're too much.is there anything in your life that's even sane? U know what i don't want to know.

Abhay saw the tears Pia was holding back. He didn't want to cause her any grief-I'm so sorry for doin this to U Pia. Bringing myself in your life. Causing U so much pain.hurting U constantly. That's all i have Pia. All i know. I wish i never came to this town. I wish U never met me.

Pia covered Abhay's mouth with her hands to stop him from saying anything else-Never wish that Abhay. U are the best thing in my life. The only constant person i can ever truely love. One i trust with my life. U may not want me in your life but i certainly want U in mine even if U don't. If it's pain U give me then that is what i'll take.

Abhay was lost for words but vowed-I can't undo the damage i've done but i promise nothing will hurt U. Whatever it is trying to hurt U i won't let them.

With that Abhay rushed all the way to the Palace with all the haunted memories. Ones that were embedded in Abhay's brains. He'd zoomed past the jungle and entered the Palace. It was still light. He saw all the weeds around the inside of the Palace. The webs. The dampness. He was reliving the old days. The Palace was filled up with all thesoldiers and knights in a lavish party in honour of the King conquering his enemies. He'd snuck in risking his life just for a glimpse of the grandeur. He stole one of the soldiers outfits from a local village. He was cowering with fear of getting caught but it all changed when he saw her for the first time. The princess Maithali. She had a gown and jewels on which she wasn't comfortable with. Her eyes met his for the first time from the balcony upstairs. Then he was gone. He was determined to do anything for her. Just to be close. He'd stalked her many times but this one time Maithali along with her maids were outside for their daily travels were attacked by a sworn enemy of the king. All her bodyguard had died trying to protect her leaving him to defend Maithali's honour. Lucky for him he fought dirty and learnt fast. Abhay saved her life. Maithali had made Abhay tag along to get his rewards from the King with his promotion to becoming a knight. Abhay shrugged off that memory. It was something he had to get rid of. He had Pia's pendent to find. Abhay closed his eyes and concentrated hard. Trying to gather some leads by keeping his mind focussed on Pia. Even in his mind Pia was exquisite. He smiled at the memory he'd recalled. He saw them all going backwards the gang. Pia was waiting in front of Maithali's portrait. He was immobilized for a few minutes touching it. After all these years Abhay still had her image never changing. But something strange happened. He was no longer searching for Maithali but Pia in there. What on earth was going on? He could only envision Pia. They were both in his mind and then vanish.

The Farmhouse

The witches began their spell doubling up for instant effect. Pia was in the girls bedroom while Kabir, Misha, Tracker and Angad were watching some action movie playing on NDTV imagine. Gave Rosa and Tara plenty of time to complete their chanting. They drew a pentogram with chalk and placed Pia in the middle. She could see the bright light flash. Seemed like the effects were zapping out of Rosa and Tara. She always wondered if what she saw on TV was how it was like in real life. Rosa warned Pia to stay in there until Abhay came back. Pia nodded. Tara was trying to create some of her spellwork downstairs. Looking through the magic electronic notepad she carried around. Came in handy for emergencies. The sun was down. Abhay still not back. Pia was getting bored.

The Qila

Abhay saw the chain and picked it up with a black handkerchief. A gust of wind blew in and the chain fell on his hand slicing some flesh. Abhay cried out in pain and Pia felt the after effects. She couldn't stay behind any longer. There was a reason she saw Abhay she had to move. Pia picked her backpack and left without telling the girls anything.
