Hey goes!!!

PART 42: Only a heartbeat away….how lovely!!! I'm already excited with only reading the title! I love when Maan sees her on the patio and he's just attracted to her like a magnet and justs wants to go out and be with her! And then he sees her tranquility and doesn't want to disrupt that image…uff!!! So chweet!!!

Meera at Yash's place…NICE touch!!! Oh!!! And she starts blushing….Meer is the cutest!! I love how you set it up like it was going to be something naughty, but ended up being something completely innocent…movie and then bed! LOL!!!

And then Geet starts remembering what I think will be the most epic line in the history of this FF!!!

"Tumhari…basha main…hot chocolate!!!

Oh no!!! She doesn't wanna talk about him….I hope she doesn't torment him in any manner, but I think this part is gonna be great!!! Looking good…her resolution is like music to my ears….not letting fears pull her down!! Go GEET GO!! That a girl!!! I should consider that fo my NY resolution!! LOL!!!!

Maan to save Geet…how heroic!!! Love the connection between them and the trust Geet has on Maan! Kitna shona hai apna Maan!!!! And then she felt safe in his arms….uff!! hasini I couldn't ask for anything more perfect than reading about that feeling!!

Geet is def a one of kind…she starts laughing…she's gone MAD!!!

And then maan in the most protective way telling her never to pull a stunt like that again…he's so possessive and protective over her!!! OMG!!!! Both didn't want any physical contact….hmmmm!! I wonder when the awkwardness will die down!

Poor Maan gets hurt…but now it's geet's trun to get protective and concern!

The chin lifting, reading her eyes, getting concerned….so classic…Maan is the man!

The kitchen scene(I read this on my 2 hours train ride BTW…and It was an amazing ride…love this part): the awkwardness isn't completely gone, but I like that…the feeling between the two…it's so romantic in the strangest way! And then she falls and he catches her…that's so symbolic for so many reasons!! He's already there, whether she wants it or not…BUT he's there to catch her when she falls, no expectations at all…wants nothing out of it, but it's pure selfless act!!!

And then cheeks touching and he smells her and takes in her scent…don't ask why, but I love it when guys talk about the scent of a woman…it's so..hmmmm…what's the word..oh! YES!!! It's so romantic!!!

OMG!!! OMFFFFFG!!! I can't believe she's considering a job in SF…that was something I didn't expect! Why oh why do I ge the feeling you're teasing us Hasini…uff..yeh Geet bhi na!!! But good thing it's a resolution…After all resolutions are meant to be broken!! LOL!!!

I can tell Maan just wants to burst out at her, but he's being supportive…at least trying!! I kept wondering if she did all of this just to see his reaction! But why oh why torment him like that!!! She knows his feelings, so why does she have to see his reacrions! Of course, he's gonna miss her and doesn't want her to leave!

Our Geet wants to be independent…that's totally fine by me!! I 'm all for Women Power, but she can figure all that out without going some zillion miles away!! I think she needs the space so she can also fully realize her feelings!!!

Why are Maan's dialogues always better…I love how he examines all her expressions and reads her feelings on her face or in her eyes!!!

I love love love this line: "but only a heartbeat away from him…his thoughts." This is a BANG on way to end things!! Too bad I have to write a 12 page paper on evolution or I would continue reading!!! I kind of already figured out the spoilers from the discussion…and I'm so excited!!! I wish I hadn't procrastinated…I wanna get to part 43 so badly!!!

To my amazing writer and brilliant Hasini: Rock on sweetie!!! You have literally outdone yourself over and over again!!! If there was a FFOscars for Best writing…I see you as the top contender…well done!!! The emotions and awkwardness and confusion so tenderly spun in a web of beautiful words and lines and paragraphs!!! If only I had been blessed with a talent like yours, but kya kare?!! Oh well!!! Keep going with the amazing writing and it's suppose to snow tonight…so more reading for me later tonight or early tom morning…so EXCITED to get to the next part!!!!!!!

Guess we all want to have that kind of romance in our lives. I'm just living it through this FF.

Idealizing love is the worst thing you can do and that is exactly what I'm doing here, trying to drive all you people towards it, which is creating a bad world out there...more expectations and more break ups...LOL Hopefully all that doesnt happen.

No SweetCoco I'm not kidding about Geet moving to SF. You will see.,That hasnt happened yet but will happen.

Ok...stop writing. I have been screaming my lungs out in terms of being a script writer

I'm not a writer because I dont write. Have you read Yasu's FF. that is writing. Man the way she writes.

I dont have great vocabs either...So stop it and lets drown in Maan and Geet's world. Time to write my live update from NY.

That was a sweet update...

I loved how you invented a medical problem to take care of Geet's lack of centre of gravity 😆 so now all the tripping, falling and catching is fully explained...unlike the show where I sometimes feel she does not have a centre of gravity😆😆😆😆😆

This is a very warm and nice update...I can see that she is making an effort to move on and make him feel special...

Ok...Today's live post. Here it goes.

I was pretty much locked in my room all day, trying to finish the post and work beckoned too.

There was a major EC problem that needed numbers for a go-live decision.

Must be wondering what sort work I'm doing right? Something sort of important. 😊

Ok...So I got out of the hotel around 8.30 PM and got to PATH station. The train was pretty empty. I was definitely scared, wondering why no one was getting to NY. I boarded anyways and got to 33rd street. As I'm going to be here in the city until midnight, I chose the closest place and safe one to hang out.

On the way I picked up 4 falafel balls from a truck for dinner and ate it on the way.

What else other than Starbucks? He he! I'm boring. So I cozied up i a chair next to the door and a guy who was muttering to himself came and sat next to me. He even read some of Sweet Coco's comment and said it was nice. That was deadly wierd, but not weird for NY.

A chair by the window became available and I moved there. I have been chatting up with some IF friends and enjoying some hot chocolate and some pesto salad.

No hunks on the way...pretty boring. As always Indian tourists are taking pictures outside my window for the Empire state is pretty close by.

Oh! by the way I walked by blooming dale's yesterday. The same one where Maan and geet went to get Maan's shirt, which they didnt buy ofcourse.

What else people? Hopefully I will make it safely to the hotel. You will know if I'm safe when you get the post tomorrow morning.

Ok...Dont get serious..I will be safe. I'm not ready to die before I experience all that I can in life.

Lack of gravity is needed for the NY trip. You will know it why I want it for NY in the next update.

Thanks for the comment. Guess your soul is at peace that she took some initiative. But the candle and rain was in vengeance to what the CV's did. I wrote it last minute.

Hey!
First of all, Hasini (actually 6thElement now) , you are an amazing writer. I usually don't comment, in other words I'm a silent read. I spend a quick 20-30mins, reading and then go back to what I should be doing, studying. But I've realized lately how I end up thinking about what you wrote. I'm not a big fan of reading fan fics because they move away from reality ( and present this very unrealistic land, and hence fan FICTION, but still they should be believable). Anyways back to point, your story has so many "reality" elements. Especially the whole getting to know the person. You can never know a person enough. I'm not married but my sister is, and on her third anniversary she decided to cook something new for her husband. She went for shrimp Alfredo and other Italian stuff which is filled with cheese, she found out after dinner, that her husband doesn't even like cheese, in fact he highly dislikes cheesy food/dishes. you would think after 3 years ( and now she even has a year old son) you would at least know this little detail. And believe or not she was engaged to him for 3.5 years!

And also, there are many couples, when they get married, they don't know anything about them. So its interesting to see how they are getting to know each other. I for sure know that I'm going to have an arranged marriage... no no I'm not forced. In fact my parents have asked..if I have someone in mind, but I'm a oldie at heart and would want to experience arranged marriage over love marriage :S

And not that I'm a stalker or anything, but along with your updates, I usually end up reading what other people have to say, since I'm not "read between the line" type. But some people have really put a lot of thought to what you write, and its truly interesting to read what they think. And I absolutely love how you guys have formed this cool friend bond thing ( I'm guessing you don't know them face to face)

Oh .. and are you from San Fransisco. I love the china town in SF. I believe they have the best ice cream :D ? I love how you described NYC. Even walking to towards the subway seems amazing. I spent 3 months of my summer in NYC ..like downtown Manhattan ..a few years ago and didn't like it at all. I know people love it and all but for some reason I hated it. My permanent resident is about 1hour and half from NYC and you won't believe it, the only time I go to NYC.. is when I have to go to the airport. But i do have to say check out Rockefeller Center..especially if they have the Christmas decorations up!! I think if you like the whole sitting out..chilling at a cafe, then you'll love Montreal! I'm schooling here, and the best part is the amazing variety of food..and rooftop cafes (which I hardly get to experience cause I head home for the summer)!

Anyways, my whole point of writing this long comment was , you're an amazing writer!

P.S I always wanted visit Kashmir, Gilgit (in Pakistan), I guess I'll have to add Sohra too now to my lists of places I want to go ;)
