Chapter 7

Vicky: What pictures are you going to send to DelhisShark? Are you sure its safe?
Geet: Vicky don't start on that safe mumbo jumbo...well I have something in mind..I will show it to you once I take the pictures...
Vicky: hmm fine just make sure that you don't send some pics that will reveal who you are...because I don't want to get a call from you saying "Help Vicky, you were right all along...I was being stupid"
Geet: ha in your dreams...I will never say that besides I know how to defend myself..want a demonstration?
Vicky: umm no thanx (remembering when Geet kicked him twice on his knee in the elevator)
Geet: Why got scared? (raising her eyebrows)
Vicky: Scared and me? nah..I just don't want to make you cry in public
Geet: Yeah, am sure that it is the real reason (laughing)
Vicky: Anyway tell me what is going on with the project that your boss gave you?
Geet: ugh don't remind me they are going to come tomorrow and my boss that ulu da pattha wants me to be like a tour guide to the clients..give them whatever the clients ask for
Vicky: hmm I must meet your boss..he seems so nice (laughing)
Geet: yeah am sure you two will hit it off
Vicky: Of course everyone likes me. Who can hate this pretty face (bashing his eyelashes)
Geet throws fries at him: ugh get over yourself..anyway I gotta go take some pictures now or else I won't get time...
Vicky: fine bye..show me the pics when you send it
Geet: yes sir

Geet spent the whole day outside roaming the streets of New york. She wanted to make sure that the pictures look real and shows her side of the interest. She loved New York's fast paced life especially downtown New York. She decided to take a picture of times square but that place is too common and can be found anywhere online. "Geet what have you got yourself into?...perfect I got my shots"

She quickly got home and uploaded the pictures to her computer...she opened up her email and was surprised to see his email all ready. "Damn it he sent his pics first...let me send my pictures too so I can go to sleep since I have to wake up early"

Well here are my pictures that I took from Delhi. I hope you liked them. I hope this will be a enough proof to you that I live in Delhi lol. The pictures that I took are totally random. In future lets not bet on something stupid like this, my assistant was looking at me weird while I was taking these picture. I don't usually do this kind of stuff (ie. making bets)

I like the pictures well anyway your story checks out! 😊 I am also sending you two pictures...the first one is my favorite place that I visit everyday and cannot live without and the second picture is totally random. Actually, I like these stupid bets we make. I had fun taking these pictures and unlike you I went alone so I don't look stupid. (Hint: Next time go alone 😆😆)

Good Night/Good Morning (depending on when you check these lol)

She sent the pictures and looked over to her dog that was looking at her with weird expressions... "You must think I am really weird isn't it cookie...come lets go to sleep and wish me luck for tomorrow that I wake up early"

The morning sun hits Geet's window...she was still sleeping..her dog tries to drag her blanket off the bed for the past half hour. "Cookie let me sleep" Her dog jumped on her bed and started licking her face "eww cookie stop that" Suddenly, it struck to her that clients are coming today. "Ohh shit...I am totally fired today...what time is it" Her eyes widened when she realized that she has 20 minutes to get to the airports before the clients arrive. "Cookie why didn't you wake me up before?" The dog gave her an innocent look... "I have to get ready fast"..she ran to the bathrooms and put on the clothes that came in her hands..cookie head kept on going back and fourth watching Geet getting ready.

On the way to the airport, she went to Starbucks to get her usual and drove as fast to the airport. She parked the car at any available parking spot she could find and ran inside to the airport trying not to spill her coffee. The flight had arrived ten minutes ago..."Shit I forgot to make a sign...how would I recognize them now?" She quickly walked over to a inquiry counter and asked for a paper and a pen and quickly wrote down "Khurana and Co." She thought "damn that looks so bad..hopefully they see it"

She stood in the front and held the sign in front of her... "thank god Dev didn't call yet" she kept on looking around hoping that the clients see the sign and wished that they didn't leave the airport or else she would be so dead. She waited for about five minutes but no sign of the clients.. "What should l do now" She started panicking and could picture Dev firing her in front of everyone...she decided that she should announce their name from the front counter..she started running to the counter and bumped into someone causing her coffee to spill on the person "ohh fiiissshhh"

She looked up into his eyes and were full of anger...she could see her own graveyard in his eyes... "ssoorryy I was in a hurry but I will pay you for the damage I have done." He looked at her from top to bottom of what she was wearing. "She looks stunning"

The middle picture!

He was completely mesmerized by her and ignored what she was saying. All he saw was her lips moving and her hands pointing at her coffee cup she was still holding. All of a sudden, he was brought out of his "staring session" by a familiar voice.
"Sir are you alright?"
"huh umm yes I am alright"
"What happened to your jacket sir?"
He looked at his jacket and instantly got mad remembering the coffee spill..he looked back up at the girl in front of him who was still there "YOU ruined my jacket"
Geet: I said sorry..I was in a hurry trying to find my clients
"I don't care...you ruined my jacket how will I go outside in this?"
Geet: I will pay you for the damage I have cost.
"How dare you"
Geet: don't raise your voice at me mister..I apologized to you already..now excuse me I have to find my clients because of you they might've left the airport.
"Excuse me miss what's the name on your sign?"
Geet: Khurana and Co.
"Well then you have found them"
Geet: Really where?
"we are the clients from India..my name is Adi I am Maan Sir's assistant/manager"
Geet: wh wh what? (started stuttering)
Adi: Yes he is Maan Singh Khurana
Geet looks at the guy who she had spilled coffee on and instantly looked back at Adi: "umm nice to meet you..I am sent here by my boss Dev to receive you..My name is Geet
(Before Adi could say anything) Maan: Miss Geet this is a nice way to receive your clients
Geet: Woh sir I was looking for you guys and I thought you guys might've left the airport so I..
Adi interrupted her because he knew that any minute his boss would really dig her grave if they stood here any longer: "nice to meet you Geet..well shall we go?"
Geet: umm sure follow me..I parked my car outside in the parking lot..."shit I really done it today...why couldn't today be normal for me?"

Geet opened her cars trunk so that they can put their luggage there..she made her way to the front of the car and noticed a ticket on her windshield...then she realized she parked the car on a handicapped area "Great this day just couldn't get any worse"
Adi: Any problem Geet?
Geet quickly crumbled the ticket in her hands: "umm no problem at all. Are you guys ready?"
Adi: Yes, ready when you are
Geet: Alright then I will take you guys to the hotel first so that you guys can freshen up (indicating to Maan)
Maan: No Miss. Geet we will go straight to the company first
Geet: Alright... "khudus kahi ka" (under her breath)
