PT 16

In the city of Amritsar, dawn was just breaking. In a house at the edge of a city lay a young girl fast sleep in her room.

Her name was Geet. She was having a dream the same dream she has been having all her life. She was now aged 19. A negative image of a mandir and a couple. Faces that she cannot see. The vision was blurred. All she could remember was that there was a mandir and a couple getting married. Geet woke up suddenly after the having the same dream again. She felt like someone was calling her. She felt like that everyday after that dream that someone was calling her to her destiny.

'GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET'

Well today was a new exception. Her sister had literally screamed to wake Geet up.

'Geet tu paagal hai kya..time dekha tune.. 9 baje waley hai aur aaj raat ko tumhara charity function hai aur chief guest Savitri Khurana anne wali hai jaldi kar' said Giya her older sister.

'Di'.aap mere kitna fikar karti ho.. app aur jiju you're the best I love you soo much' Geet got up hugging her sister from the back.

'tum dono hai na hamesha yeh karti ho apne sweet sweet baton se mujhe manane ki koshish karti ho par baat to tiq hi hai na tum aur tumhari paagal jiju ke alawa aur koi hai to nahi. Bas hum teeno hai hamere is choti se duniya main. Aur kal tum yaha se jarra hi ho Delhi job key liye'

'uffo di senti kyun hojatey ho.. main koi meedan larne nahi jarrahi ho keh main hamesha ki liye jar a hi ho. Aur kuch mahino ke baadh aap dono aane wale ho na Delhi jiju ke transfer ke baadh to.. chal main jaldi se tayyar hoti ho' Geet gave her sister Gia a kiss and went to get ready.

MEANWHILE IN DELHI

A young Man of about 23 just woke up having the same dream. His name was Maan. He had the exact same dream as Geet and felt like someone was calling him. He shrugged it off thinking it to be a coincidence. He didn't believe in things that were illogical. He got up showered and got ready and went downstairs to see his dadima.

'Maan beta aaj hum amritsar ja ra he hai Charity show ke liye. App hame lene ki liye aajana tik hai'.

'ha dadima tik hai.. main office jata ho aur kuch dino ke baadh hum dinner saat karsakenge kyun ke main eek secretary rak liya hai jo next Monday se start karenge.. kaam aasan hojayega'.

Maan left for office.

BACK TO AMRITSAR EVENING TIME

Geet is perfoming to halle re from Neal and Nikki

Na pairo mein payal na haaton mein kangana

Geet was dancing on the stage with the audience watching her. Savitri Khurana was impressed by her moves and her decent attire.

Maan is shown parking his car outside the venue of the stage show as this part of the song is playing and Geet dancing thinking about her humsafar. Maan hears the song and walks in mesmerised by Geet on the stage.

After the dance had finished Maan realised he was staring at her. Geet turned to look at the audience and saw Maan staring non stop at her. She store back at him like something was stopping her when

'Geet jaldi kar' Geet broke the gaze and quickly went to the changing rooms. Maan realised what he was doing and went to the car. Savitri Devi Met Geet and gave her a cheque for the charity show. Geet took her blessings. Savitri smiled and went to meet other people whlist telling Maan to wait outside for a while. Geet quickly got changed and went out of the door to see nearly everyone had left. Her sister and jiju had left early thinking Geet would come with Siya but Siya left earlier.

'uff yeh jiju bi na chalo main phone karti hu.. Hello Jiju aap mujhe lene please aaajoooo tik hai main wait karti hu'. Geet walked down and stood near the wall which was directly in front of Maan's car. Maan watched Geet sitting in his car whlist talking on the phone. Geet was getting annoyed at the fact her jiju was taking so long.

Geet dropped her purse and went to pick it up and saw a guy standing right in front of her face

.'TUM yaha kya kar rahe ho'

'Geet yaar tumne kitna accha dance kiya u wana show ur body' said the guy

'Rudraskh dafa ho jao yaha se abhi'. Rudraskh held her hand tight. Rudraskh friends had come to see what was going on.

Geet got angry. Maan saw this and was about to help Geet when he saw Geet slap Rudraskh really hard from the free hand. Rudraskh friends started laughing at him. Geet and Rudraskh looked at eachother at anger.

Rudraskh was going to grab Geet again when Geet's jiju arrived.Rudraskh warned Geet

'is tappar aur bezati ka jawab main zaroor donga'.

Geet turned around to face him and slapped him again.

'zaroor dena aur aur tappar le lena'. Maan sat in his car and chucked at Geet's answer he was amazed at her strength for sticking up to herself. He then realised he was smiling laughing and looking at a girl he hardly knew. This girl had made him do something he would never have thought of. Geet walked towards her jiju car when she saw Maan stare at her again. For some reason she stood still. The winds started to blow frantically, the leaves on the ground started to blow around them like the winds were whispering something to her.

She then came out of her gaze and went to her jiju car.Geet and Abhi walked into the house.

'jijuuu thank you so much wo siya hai na jaldi chali gayi'

'koi baat nahi hai meri Geetu' said Abhi her jiju. 'aur wo Rudraskh phir se tumne pareshan kar ra ha ta maine dekha'

'ha jiju yeh to college se mere piche para hai liken aaj maine solid jawab diya ausko aapne dekha na'

'hmmm liken'

'liken wiken kuch nahi jaldi chalo bookh lagi hai'

'lagraha hai keh hume bookey peet sona hoga'

'kyun'

'tumhari di kuch aacha banati nahi hai'

'JIJUUU'

'maazaq ta yaar tum dono behne mujhe paagal kardongi ek meri patni aur ek meri pyari se salli ur behen'

'uffo jiju Love u agar aap dono nahi hotey to main bilkul akeli hoti'

'uf Geet tum apni di ki tara senti mat hona..mujhe pata hai wo is waqt koi stupid sa film dek rahi hogi aur ro rahi hogi.. '

Gia stood there fuming at the conversation. She sneaked up to Abhi and pulled his ears.

'kya mera khana aacha nahi hai'

'Gia choroo '

'Ajj tum bookey peet sojana.. tu chal Geet khana kale'

'Geet tum to mere side ti na'

'Jijs agar main apka side lo to mujhe di ka khana nahi miliga aur kal ke badh to main miss kardongi na kal main jane wali ho na ab chalo jijs maafi maglo'

.All three went into a group hug and went to dinner.

PRECAP: Geet arrives in Delhi. Maan and Geet ajeeb meeting at A mandir' (NOT DE MANDIr that they got married in.. that will come like later in the story once Maan and Geet get closer) -
