As Maan went home,he had totally forgotten to tell everyone that geet had woken up.So when Dadi and her two other grandsons walked in,they were met with the most beautiful scene infront of them.Geet had priya in her lap with a light blanket covering her.She was slowly running her fingers through Priya's hair in attempt to tie it in a nice braid.Priya had clutched on to geet's kameez and was slightly sighing in satisfaction.Being lost in her own world,geet forgot that Dadi would be here soon,but dadi did not want to break the moment between the two girls.She was glad that priya would have such a strong person as her mother."Dadi,maine priya ko kabhi itna kush nai dekha,aur kuch dino toh yeh bohot dafa nightmares se uthi hai.Dadi she is perfect for our family.Magar humain kuch kerna pare ga.Mujhe ajeeb feeling ho rahi hai.Koi kuch ker na ."Vicky the family's joker said seriously,but it was the truth.Dadi knew that she had to tell geet about why her parents commited sucide.

"Bhabi..I mean geet aap ko humain tang kerne ka shook hai"Dev said walking up to geet and messing her hair up.

"Haan geet,Eik din khana kiya bana diya...Sheesh ab toh kisi aur ke haath ka khana nai kaya jata"VIcky said pouting at Geet.

"Aap dono ko toh baghwan hi bachaye,hatiye main apni beti se gale to mil loon."Dadi said pushing the two aside and hugging Geet.

"I'm sorry,maine aap logon ko pereshan kiya!"

"Nai,hum apko kona nai chahte geet."Dadi said with tears

"Dadi patha nai duniya kon sa khel,khel rahi hai!"

"Acha dii,aap yeh bataye.Humne apki surile awaaz nai sunii..Kab suna rahi hain?"Vicky asked

"Bus mujhe idher se free hone do toh gana bhi suna dein geh."

"Mujhe Maan bhai ke paas jana hai"

"abhi atein hain toh aapko le lein ge acha..Aap thora aur sona chaho gi"

"Ok....kiya hua aap itni sad kyon ho jaanu."

Maan had been on the phone with the private investigator for an hour now.It was now confirmed that someone was trying to poison geet,but who could it possibly be?The private investigator had raised another question.Mr and Mrs Handa's death,was it a suicide or was it a way to save geet.

"Mr Khurana I hope you understand that you cant leave geet alone,if the situation gets out of hand.You can lose her.You need to keep this between us while I find out about her family.Do not worry,you hired the best."

"Hopefully,Mr Malhotra I will ask my grandmother if she knows anything.Untill then please do not rest till you find him or her.No one can hurt geet and get away with it like that."

Maan said goodbye to the inspector and threw his phone on the bed in frustration,he was tired.All he wanted was some sleep,but he could not rest untill this case was over and geet was saved.Looking at the clock he saw that it was evening now.Grabbing his keys and phone he headed to the hospital.

"Morning Mr Khurana,I was just going to check up on Ms geet."

"How is she?"

"Oh she is fine!Her head injury was deep,but now that she is awake.There should be no problem."

Maan and the doctor walked in to the room,and discovered everyone chatting to each other.Maan looked at Priya who looked like she was asking Geet something,and it looked like Geet was in a heated conversation with vicky.When he listened to their conversation both the doctor and Maan supressed a laugh.

"Oye Mere srk ko kuch na kahoo"

"Tum amir khan ko kuch na kaho"

Beta aap dono shant ho jayen."Dadi pitched in.

"Nai Mere srk ko kuch kahe aur main chup rahoon."

"Bhabi aap Amir khan ko stupid keh rahi ho"

"Haan aur tumne srk ki movie ko bakwaas kaha!Amir khan ki koi movie achi nai!"

"Priya brave girl hai,aur nai main kuch nai hone doonga"Maan said not being able to see her cry.

"Idher aao beta dadi ke paas"Savtri devi said to priya.

"Aap mama ka kyal rakho,aur bus pray karo"

"Geet bande ki shakl nai achi ho toh baath toh achi kerni chaaiye"Vicky said not liking her words,and forgetting their childish fight.

"Dadi aap loog jaen main iske hard head main thora si akal dal doong ga."Maan said

As the three Khurana's left,Maan slowly diverted his attention to geet.Her words about dieing had cut through like a knife.She had no idea how much they cared for her,and how much she meant to them.He slowly made his way towards geet,his anger was starting to take over.He pulled a chair beside geet bed,who had just come from the washroom wearing a ocean blue salwar kameez.She was trying to put her flip-flops on,but failed.Without hesitation maan pulled the sandal out of her hands with great force and pulled one of her leg on to his lap and gently slipped the sandal on.Repeating his actions for the other foot,Maan pushed both her feet away gently.He looked at Geet,who had her eyes closed.Geet could not figure out what was happening to her.When ever Maan was around she felt so calm and relaxed.Pushing her feelings away,she looked at Maan who was glaring at her.

"Kiya hua Maan?Ase kyon dekh rahe ho?"

"Toh kaisen dekhoon,HAAN!Batao..Tumhe toh maarne ki pari hui hai"Maan said walking to the window.

"Are main mazaq ker rahi thi"Geet said trying to make her way to him as fast as she could.

"Tumne asi baath kyon ki"Maan said

"yaar asi hi!Acha baba Im sorry"Geet said holding her ears.

"Geet asa kabhi na soochna.TUm apne best friend ko ase chor ke nai jaogi.Tum laro gi.Mere liye."

"Acha na,ab chalo."

"Chalo,aur pir asi baath kabhi bhi na kare na!"
