Part 7:
Breaking In scene (Riddhima and Sid's surprise)
Riddhima is very confused nw. Sure she had bust into her own home with Sid bt this time it ws different. She knew tht he wsnt gonna gift her another house. Why cudnt he just leave it in another ashram or with some jodshi? She thought bitterly but ofcourse she wsnt gonna break into some one's house. She reaches the door and knocks gently. Waits a little while. Knocks harder and waits a little more. She gets impatient and knocks even harder with no reply she is convinced there is no one in the house. I can wait she thinks to herself but this ws Sid. And she cudnt hold herself back. She looks around for windows and bingo! She finds her way in. An already trained Riddhima opens the window and gets in the house. She promises not to touch much and gt her cassette and move. She goes from the living to bedroom and in frustration throws things around. Finally she finds the cassette. She is about to leave, and she can hear someone enter actually to be precise she hears two ppl enter. She walks to tell thm but she looks around and sees the state of the house and thinks wud they believe her? She looks up and goes: Sid!
She walks out of the room and sees two figures walking towards her. She quickly hides under the dining table. They seemed to be a couple. The guy reaches dwn to pick his phone up and Riddhima notices his tatoo which looked familiar for some reason. She decides to focus on finding a way out. She sees the couple move towards their very messed up bedroom and Riddhima sees it as her opportunity to move out of the house. But before she could reach the door therez a tap on her shoulder. Riddhima without turning back says
Riddhima: I swear mein chori ke iradey seh nahin aayi thi.. Woh toh Sid ki I mean merey pati ki cassette dhoondney ke liye..
Man: merey bedroom seh?
(Riddhima looks back to reply and sees the two closest frends of her standing infront of her.)
Riddhima: Abhi! Nikki! Tum dono yahan.. Kya kar rahe ho?
Abhi: poker kel rahe hein
Nikki: Abhi please
Riddhima: Very funny.
Abhi: acha toh Riddhima.... Riddhima jis ke liye aayi thi woh mila?
Riddhima: Riddhima kehney ke baad rukhe kyun?... Sid ney Gupta kehney ko bola tha..
Abhi: Riddhima woh...
Riddhima: pata hai mein Sid ko achi tarah seh jaanti hoon. I noe woh kya karta hai uss ke karney seh pehley.
Nikki: abhi tum dono living room mein beto mein zara aati hoon.
(Riddhima and Abhi take their seats. They both avoid talking about Sid's death. They both preserve their calmed expressions all for the sake of tht one person. Tht one person tht had influenced their lives to the extent where love had been redefined to them. The days of displaying love through tears had been gone for Riddhima. It wsnt tht the pain had stopped but rather love had grown to the zenith where pain had lost its identity. Things had changed for Riddhima, Sid's love made her a stronger person. Nikki comes in with wht looks like a cake in her hand)
Riddhima: tum dono ka anniversary? Aaj tha?
Abhi: is it?
Riddhima: dekho Abhi ko khud yaad nahin aur main guilty feel kar rahi thi..
Abhi: jee nahin. Hamara anniversary 7th May ko hai (sorry AN fans i dnt noe the date so i put my b-day)
(Ridzy looks to Nikki who nods and gives Abhi a deserved smile)
Riddhima: hang on hang toh cake kis liye?
Abhi: aaj kisi ka Birthday hai
(Riddhima looks confused. And Abhi looks to Nikki)
Abhi: isse sach much nahin pata ya acting ka shoq pura kar rahi hai?
Nikki: Abhi please. Riddhima! Aaj tumhara apna birthday hai.
(Riddhima looks frm Abhi to Nikki and manages to blurt out)
Riddhima: yeh sab Sid ki planning hai na... I dnt wnt to celebrate my b-day..
Abhi: come on Riddhima
Riddhima: nahin Abhi
(and they continue arguing. Bt the actual reason why Riddhima didnt wnt to celebrate ws cuz she cudnt do it without Sid)
Abhi: jitna Sid neh kaha tha ussey kahin zyada ziddi ho tum...
Nikki: ya Riddhima itna agar hum Brad Pitt ko kehtey toh woh bhi manley tha.
(Abhi grabs the tape frm Riddhima and plays it)
(Audio)
Sid: Happy birthday. Happy birthday. Its youre happy day.
Happy birthday. Happy birthday. Lets celebrate today.
Mujhe pata tha bhaiya ke aap seh nahin hoga leken aapka try toh free of charge tha na issliye mainey socha lets give it a shot. Par main apni pat... I mean meri senior doc ke ziddi attitude seh waqif hoon. Aapko agar second phase pura karna hai toh kindly CELEBRATE YOUR BIRTHDAY. Yeh mera aadesh hai. And dnt worry iss baar meiney cake nahin banaya (Riddhima laughs).
Itni bhi tayari kar ke nahin mara tha. (she frowns). Another bad joke. Aur woh bhi dusrey audio mein. Sorry. Waisey yeh audio yaheen khatam hota hai leken aapka teesra session Panchgani ke orphanage mein hai.
(They celebrate the birthday and Riddhima leaves for her bus to Panchgani.)
AN house scene (AN)
Nikki: kya tumhey lagta hai keh Sid ka get over treatment asar kar raha hai?
Abhi: agar mein Riddhima ko nahin janta toh shayad mera jawab haan hota leken main ussey jaanta hoon aur yeh bhi jaanta hoon ke woh yeh sab Sid ke liye kar rahi hai.
Nikki: mujhe bhi aisa lagta hai. Sid ke liye haasti hai aur ussi keliye woh roti hai jaisey uss ka khud apni zindagi mein koi mayna hi nahin raha ho. Unka pyar sabseh alag hai.
Panchgani Orphanage scene (Riddhima and bachas)
Riddhima walks in and a group of kids surround her. Asking her where had she been and why had she not come with Sid. She wasnt sure wht to answer first. She looks around to find Anjali (guys i dnt remember the girl fr whom Sid kidnaped Riddhima if anyone remembers her actual name thn please comment so tht i can edit). She looks around and cnt spot her.
She finally finds her in the garden near the orphanage.
Garden scene (Anjali and Riddhima)
Riddhima: tum yahan akele kya kar rahi ho?
Anjali: kuch nahin (tears were visible in her eyes)
Riddhima: Anjali kya hua? Batao na. Tum mujhe nahin bataogi?
Anjali: merey Sid bhaiya abh kabhi yahan nahin aayengey. Woh kabhi mujhe seh nahin mil payengey. Woh woh... (and she breaks in tears)
(Riddhima swallows a lump in her thraot and reminds herself of her promise. Tells herself tht she has to live for her loved ones.)
Riddhima: Anjali meri baat suno
(anjali refuses to look up)
Riddhima: dekho meri taraf. Tumharey Sid bhaiya mar tabh jaayenge jab hum unhey bhool jayengey. Jab tak woh hamari yaadon mein hai tab tak koi nahin keh sakta ke woh iss dunya mein nahin hai. Unki soch, unki yaadein aur sabseh zyada zaroori unka ehsaas hamesha merey saath hai aur agar tum in sab cheezon ko bhool jawo toh haan tabh shayad tumharey Sid bhaiya tumhey chod ke chalein gaye hai.
(Anjali hugs Riddhima tightly, they both go through their pain. )
Riddhima thn goes to Father Dominique chamber to ask for Sid's session and in return gets a letter.
Riddhima's feet feel weak as though they cnt hold her up anymore. She took hold of the letter reluctantly. She didnt complain because she knew tht Sid had left her only the letter. He had stepped down another level. Riddhima had begun to understand Sid. It ws one thing to know the likes and dislikes of someone but for Riddhima she had begun to understand why Sid would like and dislike things. She had begun to not only know his preference but understand the reason behind his preferences. This deepened their bond. Without complaints or arguements she leaves the orphanage. She understood and accepted Sid's decision but cudnt bring herself to realise tht she wudnt be able to see or hear him.
Letter
Riddhima,
tum shayad soch rahi ho ke kyun Sid aisa karega (but she knew). Par yeh tumharey bhalayi ke liye hai. Trust me Riddhima main jo kar raha hoon. Sab tumharey liye hai. Ek ek koshish tumhari khushi ke liye. Tumharey guzrey huey kal ko mitaney ke liye tumhey aaj mein saans lena hoga. Tumhey bhoolna hoga ke main bhi kabhi tha.
(Riddhima thinks: tumhey bhoolney ke liye mujhe tumhey apna guzra hua kal maana hoga Sid aur yeh ho nahin sakta.)
Tum kabh tak merey yaadon ke saath jeeyogi. Arrey main nahin raha. Iss ka matlab yeh toh nahin ke tumhara bhi sab kuch khatam hua hai
(Riddhima thinks: iss ka matlab yahi hai. Mera sab kuch khatam hogaya hai. Abh jo kuch bacha hai tumharey liye)
Main tumseh aur behes nahin kar sakta Riddhima aaj tum jab wapas jawogi tabh tumhey Sanjeevni ke saath waley Royalty Restaurant mein jaana hoga. Table no. 7.
Mujhe bhool jawoh,
Sid
Riddhima holds the letter in her hand and also holds her emotions back. Till date she had learned to fake happiness. She hid her grief and wore her smile. She went to R restaurant and reached the table for her.
Riddhima thinks:
A night out. Thts all Sid has planned. He wsnt going to do anything more thn tht. He thinks I need a break and I think he planned my break. Sid ki yahi toh baat mujhe bohot achi lagti hai. She smiles.
But even she knows Sid had planned more thn tht. He ws too surprising to plan a simple night out.
Riddhima sat in her place infront of a very well decorated table. She tries not to think of the decores on the table. Tries very hard not to think as to why Sid wud do such a thing. Then Sid gave life to her worst nightmare. A man probably in his late twenties appraoches the table. He casually introduces himself as Rahul and takes a seat beside Riddhima. Riddhima already in pain feels betrayed. Hw cud Sid do such a thing, hw cud he arrange her date with another man. Hw cud he bear the thought of Riddhima with another man. In rage and feeling of betrayal Riddhima gets up to leave without even caring to introduce herself.
(Riddhima thinks to herself:
itna sab kuch honey ke baad woh aisey kaisey mujhse umeed kar sakta hai ke main ussey bhool jawoon. Sid pagal hogaya hai. Mere saath aisa kaiseh kar sakta hai? Main uski Riddhima hoon. Sirf uski. Jitna main ussey pyar karti hoon utna na mainey kabhi kisi seh kiya aur na kabhi kar sakoongi. Shayad Sid bhi abh mujhe nahin samajh tha.)
It ws one thing tht Sid had expected her to move on but this little stunt of his took it to a whole new level. It ws as though he expected her to pull her own soul out her body. Her love for Sid wsnt jst a feeling. It ws the recognition of the feeling of love and to forget Sid she needed to forget tht love exists.
And thn she heard it:
''Suno kisi shayaar ney kaha bohot khoob
Manna karey dunya leken merey mehboob
Pyar deewana hota hai
Mastana hota hai''
The world spun around her. She heard Sid's voice once again.
*If any AN fan is reading this OS thn im sorry tht I cudnt give thm proper scenes since I ws focusing more on Siddhima. And again guys if u feel there shud be any change or i shud bring in other characters thn dnt hesitate to PM or comment. And yes I noe tht the explanations at the end of scenes I give are a bit too long bt in order for u guys to understand the whole scene properly I need to write it dwn since u guys cnt have a visual form of the scenes!
