I am really confused...why Maan did all this drama...

what he wants...first Geet was hurt when she saw him kissing Mallika...then she instantly changed her style of dressing and behavior...then Maan was trying to convince her of his feelings but she was avoiding... then they went to fest...they were lost in jungle...they kissed...now why Maan is trying to push Geet away I don't understand...
