A New Beginning

The girls stared at the crowded station. One of them was hopping and looking around with a huge grin plastered on her face, while the other simply frowned at the crowded place.

"God!I guess the train is late" Suhani murmured after a while turning to her cousin, who was frowning,

"What are you so angry about?" she asked.

"Well..if u just notice how incredibly dirty and polluted this place is" dia replied giving suhani a 'why the hell am I here' kinda look.

Suhani simply rolled her eyes knowing dia she didn't want to get into an argument right now.

After a while

"when are they coming?" dia asked heaving a sigh, just then her cell gave her a message alert.

"I knw, the train is so late!" suhani grimaced

She checked her cell to find sam's message

Dia's POV

"Candy where r u?"

In hell, with su, sm gests to rcv I messaged back

Wel mk it fst ,all w8in here he replied

Wil try, trains l8, u gys cnt do nythin widout me uh? I replied back

Nope :D I smiled at his reply, they were the best! My friends.

The rattling noise of an approaching train had suhani perked up.

There! That's the one!" she squeeled excitedly.

Okay dey r here..l8er I typed and pocketed my cell.

"Ohh thank God!" I smiled forgetting all about the terrible place as su's face glowed in happiness. I was happy for her usually su was stressed out or loaded with work.

"Nupzi!!!" Su screamed as she made her way towards two girls dressed in churidars they looked quite ill, a small smile made it to the brunette's face as we approached them while the fair girl smiled a little nervously.

Su and whom I considered to be nupzi hugged each other.

"Hi" I greeted the fair girl, she seemed to be of my age itself.

"Hi" she smiled in return as I had expected she had a very sweet and pleasant voice.

"m dia and u?" I asked.

"Gunjan" she smiled.

"nice name" I replied smiling

"thanks" gujan replied.

I turned to su and was not at all surprised as she loaded nupzi with many questions.

"Su! Let her breathe!" I interrupted.

Su smacked her forehead and smiled cheekily "sorry"

Nupzi gave a dry chuckle "koi baat nahin" She turned to me "hi am nupur"

"ohh nupur, am dia..nice to meet u" I replied.

"same here" she replied.

"nupzi, gun…she's my cousin" suhani introduced me to them.

Gun nupzi, I guess they are really good friends of her.

"Lets go I will get the car out" I smiled back at them.

Su glared at me, "you shouldn't be driving actually you just got ur license" I rolled my eyes as she continued to bicker, she had been badgering the same lecture on the way here!

Together we stepped out of the station and headed towards our car.

"So how long are you gonna be here?" su asked nupur as soon as we got seated in the car.

I was going to drive while su sat next to me, Gun and nupzi were seated at the backseat.

"Welll.. forever" nupur replied hesitantly.

"wat?" su asked surprised.

I started the engine and drove out of the parking lot.

"yeah well" nupur continued.

"oke wat abt ur bauji?" su interrupted her. Typical su, always on with her questions!

"he's no more" gunjan replied to my surprise, for a moment I was stunned, but soon focused on the path ahead.

They looked so ill and tired probably because of the tragedy,the tone gunjan had used, that of void of any emotion somehow pricked my heart. I felt sorry for the two of them, even su seemed to be shocked to silence, that rarely happened.

I glimpsed at her to check if she was fine, she wasn't, tears brimmed her eyes.

"why didn't u tell me before?" she asked in a suffocated voice.

"su, things happened too fast" nupur replied almost murmured.

Su nodded and blinked away her tears.

"so now in Mumbai huh?" she asked trying to get back to a normal conversation.

"yeah" nupur replied.

"where to?" I asked su.

"home" she replied.

"home?" nupur questioned "I told u to reserve rooms in woman's hostel"

"don't talk rubbish nupzi, u r staying with us, I thought u were coming for a while" su replied.

"but I cant" nupur started.

"shut up nupzi or I will get very angry!" su warned.

But that didn't shut nupur up "ohh even I can get angry" she replied.

"well no u don't have any right to do that currently!"

"and why so?" she challenged.

"because you are my best friend and you didn't even tell me that so much had happened and" su stopped "thts why!" she said firm. Nupur didn't respond now, I guessed her to have nodded at su.

"Gun, I guess u r done with ur 12^th?" su asked.

Ohh so my guess was right, gunjan is same as my age.

"yeah" she replied.

"wat next?" su asked.

"well I don't know" gunjan replied unsure.

"Are you interested in further studies?" I asked.

"ermm actually I am but" gunjan murmured.

"but?" nupur interrupted "there's no 'but' gun, I will get u admission in the best college here"

I smiled nupur was so like su! just then an idea struck me I turned to the two, but before I could speak su screamed at me.

"Eyes on the road!"

"okay okay!" I replied.Not now maybe later I will talk to them about it, and anyways its their first day here.

Su's cell rang on the way. She answered it.

"Hello"

A moment's silence and then su groaned. I glimpsed at her again to find her glaring at no one in particular.

"when exactly?" su asked on the phone.

"Within 1 hour!?" su asked shocked.

"okay" she ended the call. It must have been from her office surely.

"That sadu!" I gave a hearty laugh, I so knew it!

"sadu? Ur boss" nupur spoke to my surprise, but ofcoz su and her were gr8 frnds, su must have told her.

"yeah afterall u only named him" su replied. Now that was new to me. So nupzi had named him sadu.

I personally loved the guy, he was so hot and good in his own ways, ofcoz su never agreed.

Finally we reached home, the servants came to unload the baggage as we entered home.

I got the message alert, that was fast!

The message read Candy!! Wrk is pendng, I wil cncel d prty my eyes popped at that.

K k make it fast He replied back.I smiled

"Nice place" Gunjan complimented.

"thank u" su replied.

"my work" I said proudly. Su glared at me.

"what u didn't even help" I shrugged.

Suhani simply rolled her eyes.

"I was busy dia" she replied.

"did I complain?" I asked.

"no but I would have helped" su argued back.

"You two fight a lot" gunjan spoke.

We broke into laugh surprisingly nupur too.

"gun yeh inka roz ka hai" she replied.

I squirmed quite uncomfortable how much had su told nupzi about me? And wat all?

The three of us sat in the couch as su instructed the servant to get the guestroom cleaned.

"So gun..ermm u guys don't mind me calling u by ur nicknames do u?" I asked.

"ofcoz not" nupur replied while gunjan gave a small smile

"so u guys must have thought of something like wat u will be doing here?" I asked vaguely trying to guess.

"well I need a job" nupur started "and gunjan I will get her admission in a nice college"

"Well I was thinking" I started just then su joined us, I addressed to her as well

"well su I was thinking how about gunjan joins excel?"

Su turned to nupur and then back at me "Is it possible?" she asked.

"meaning?" I asked confused.

"Well you are forgetting excel college takes only students who have passed from their school and 10 scholarship students who must have been decided by now." Su replied.

I sighed. "you are right, but I will try for sure"

"ofcoz and I will be for the first time glad if ur diva image gets gun an admission" su replied.

"ohh su, did u just challenge my rep?" I grinned.

"oh yes I did" su grinned back.

Nupur smiled at me "thanks dia, means a lot to me"

"your welcome sweety" I turned to gunjan "u will love excel, I will try my best"

Though she didn't reply neither acknowledge my words she kept blinking, her forehead creased, as she stared at her knees she was deep in thought I assumed.

The servant brought in some snacks.

"here help yourself" su smiled.

"oke i gotta go now" I smiled at the trio "my friends must be waiting" I got up. Nupur and gunjan stood as well to wish me bye.

I hugged Nupur and then gunjan, though the moment I touched her I was shocked. I held her by the shoulders and squeaked "su hold her" Suhani jumped and held gunjan who had fainted.

Together we laid her on the sofa Nupur got worked up and started rubbing gunjan's hand while I sprinkled some water on her face.

"plain weakness I guess" suhani mumbled as she checked gunjan's temperature with her hand.

I picked the magazine and blew some air in her direction, slowly her eyes fluttered open.

"Gun' nupur spoke softly, for a moment I felt like a mother was speaking to her child.

"here water" I offered the glass, nupur took it and helped gunjan with it.

I was stunned at the display of affection infront of me.

"I think I will call a doc" su suggested.

"no I think she traveled for the first time that's why u knw must have been weak" nupur mumbled.

Su nodded "You guys can rest in my room till"

Nupur nodded.

"am sorry but I have to go, that sadu!" su groaned.

"Its okay" nupur replied "u both have some work, you guys go I will take care of gun" she smiled.

"okay dear" I replied. "Our numbers are in that diary, if you need anything just tell the servant"

Nupur nodded but was taken aback as su hugged her.

Nupur shut her eyes and returned the hug.

I thought it better to let them be alone for a while and so I left with a heavy heart back to my car.

I admired nupur for her guts,She had left her home and come to Mumbai with her gun to make a future. I was suddenly met with a strong desire to help them. Guys I need your help, I Will get gun an admission!

Basically i did loads of experiments!

First i wrote from Nups pov...its was getting randomn...we all know i guess how it feels to be in a new city...so it was nothing special...quite boring actually so i deleted it.....gunjan's pov..cudnt write coz she barely talks and was feeling sick too.

Suhani i thought but it was difficult as her mind was buzzing with questions and so i introduced Dia....i tried to connect u guys with them. i mean su and dia...their bond.

Also Sayank have made their entry..not introduced yet though.

So that's the reason i took so looong to update..sorry!
