"Yuvraj can you help me with this thing please?" Drish said turning around to Yuvi who was checking the patient on the adjacent bed. He looked up at her, giving her a short look he went back to his work.

Giving up she tried to understand it herself but that word was incomprehensible. As she was scratching her head with the pen, Yuvi came and took the pad from her. He scribbled the word neatly near it with a pencil encircling the original one and gave it back to her. This was all the interaction they had in the two hours of their duty.

"Toh Farhan miya' aap kahan se hain?" Naina asked Farhan as her first patient left. Unlike Drishti she was having a blast with her partner.

"Naina ji hum Lucknow se hain." Farhan said as he noted down the prescription he had given to his first patient.

"Batein karna band kejiye aur kaam kejiye!" Dr. Dikshit told them and they went back to their work.

"Khadoos! Ek din me do do!" Naina mumbled under her breath at which Farhan gave a stifled laugh and gave Naina a low hi-five taking care that 'khadoos' didn't see it.

"Toh doctors as I told you, I'm the resident pediatrician here aur aap is poore mahine mujhe Children's Ward me assist karenge." Dr. Divya said to Sid and Gayatri after giving them a tour of the ward and a brief on her work. While Gayatri was busy taking notes about it, Sid was playing with the kids. "Toh aap log pehle sab ka check up karenge. I've to meet another colleague in regards to a case. So I'll be late." Dr. Divya said turning to look at the two. Gayatri gave a nod while Sid tried to show that he knew what she was talking about.

As soon as Dr. Divya left Gayatri started doing the check up. While Sid just stood in the middle of the ward trying to figure out what to do when he saw a little girl sitting all by herself so he went to her.

"Heya kiddo!" He said sitting beside her on the bed. But she looked away and didn't respond. Gayatri came there as she was the next patient.

"Aapka naam kya hai?" Sid tried to ask but she didn't answer.

"Sid iske injection ka time ho gaya hai."

"Mujhe injection nahi lena. Sab mujhe bas aake injection lagate rehte hai. Koi mujhse milne nahi aata." She said. "Aapko malum hai kitna dard hota hai."

"Okay Gayatri aaj hum ise injection nahi denge." Sid said.

"Par Sid hume injection dena zaroori hai."

"Kuch zaroori nahi hai."

"Sach!?" The little girl said with a beaming smile.

"Sach!" Sid agreed and kept her on his lap. "Toh aapka naam kya hai?"

"Tamanna."

"Wow nice name. Aajse mai aapko Tammy bulaunga, okay."

"Okay." Tammy said giving Sid a hi-five. Sid got Tammy busy in talks and signaled Gayatri to give her the injection. She realized it only when she felt an ant bite her and she saw Gayatri removing the injection. "Aapne jhoot bola mujhse!" Tammy said getting down from Sid's lap.

"Lekin aapko dard hua kya?" Sid asked innocently.

"Nahi' par aapne mujhse jhoot bola'"

"Lekin aapko dard nahi hu. To bas' be happy!" Sid said and started tickling Tammy.

"He'll never change. I was hoping to still see the same Sid after years." Gayatri said to herself and smiled.

After some time they had a ten minutes break so they all went to the cafeteria. While Naina, Sid, Gayatri and Farhan were already seated there, Yuvi and Drish came in late. Naina was calling Drish when Yuvi saw her. He looked back to see Drish entering and his head moved between the two sisters. He shrugged at his own stupidity.

Even though this was a possibility matching the whole scenario it always sounded absurd till he saw it himself and related it to the situation. He went to sit on an empty table when Farhan motioned him to join them. He came and sat besides Gayatri on the only empty chair.

"Hey dude!" Sid said while Naina gave him a murderous glare. "I'm Sid, Siddhant Mehra." Sid said as he stood up and extended a hand across the table's length to Yuvi.

"Yuvraj Oberoi." Yuvi said as he shook his hand briefly and Naina pulled Sid back into his seat.

"So Yuvraj, let me introduced you to everyone." Sid said. He got out of his seat and moved towards Gayatri who stood beside Yuvi. "Yeh hain Gayatri Mahant, is maheene ke liye humari partner in Children's Ward." He said holding the back of Gayatri's chair trying to imitate the way she speaks. When Gayatri looked up and gave hima smile, he moved on to Farhan who sat adjacent to Gayatri. "Aur yeh hai miya Farhan Zaidi, is maheene OPD me hai." He said as he gave Farhan a slap on his back moving towards the duo. "Aur yeh hai meri best friends, the Mathur twins. Drishti se to tum mil hi chuke ho, is maheene tum dono ek saath General Ward me ho. Aur yeh hai Naina, Farhan ke saath OPD me." He said as he sat down on his seat.

As they all chatted happily, Naina occasionally tossed a glare in Yuvi's direction who happily returned the favor. After ten minutes they all returned to their places.

"Drishti can I talk to you?" Yuvi said to Drish as they returned to the General Ward and Drish went towards the patient who had to be given the medicine.

"Haan Yuvraj bolo." Drish said looking at him with a genuine smile.

"Vo I'm sorry for being rude to you in the morning. I thought'" Yuvi said drawing his hand through his hair.

"I know you thought ki mai Naina hu. She told me about your encounter in the morning. It's okay." Drishti said going back to her work as Yuvi moved towards his patient. "Lekin Yuvi' it's okay if I call you Yuvi right?"

"It's okay with me Drish." He said with the smile.

"Don't give that attitude to my sister." Drish said waggling her pen in his direction as he scowled at the thought of it. "I know meri behen thodi immature hai aur usme attitude bhi thoda sa zyada hai par please she's very innocent." Drish said as she stood near him not wanting the whole ward to listen to their conversation.

"Thoda zyada?" Yuvi asked raising his eyebrows.

"Okay bahut zyada par please'"

"I won't promise anything par mai use tab tak kuch nahi kahunga jab tak vo mujhe kuch nahi kahegi." Yuvi answer genuinely.

"Tab ho gayi tum dono ki dosti!" Drishti said as she returned to her work rolling her eyes and Yuvi smiled.

At the end of the day everyone came to the locker room exhausted.

"Sid aaj club chale?" Naina asked Sid after putting her things back in her locker and admiring herself in the full length mirror on the wall adjacent to her locker.

"Naina aaj ke itne tiring day ke baad bhi tujhme club jaane ke liye energy baaki hai?" Drish asked her sister as she sat down on one of the benches stretching herself.

"Ohfo Drish tu toh mujhe jaanti hai. I'm always geared up for partying!" Naina said slumping down besides Drish while Yuvi who was listening to all this smirked.

"Drish tum chal rahi ho na?" Sid asked Drish who was putting her things in her locker.

"Can't say Sid. I'm highly exhausted!"

"Oye chal na aaj itna bhi kya kaam kar liya ki itni exhaust ho gayi?" Naina said hitting her on her shoulder.

"Kuch logon ko lagta hai ki sabhi unki tarah kaamchor hote hai." Yuvi glowered.

"Aur kuch logon ko doosron ki baatein sunne me kuch zyada hi interest aata hai." Naina said giving Yuvi an irritated look.

"Okay I'll come." Drish said with a smile. "Farhan aur Gayatri tum bhi chalo na."

"Nahi hume club jaana pasand nahi." Gayatri said as she adjusted her dupatta.

"So typical of you, auntyji." Sid said earning himself a glare from her.

"Nahi hum nahi challenge." Farhan said with a sad expression while he closed his locker.

"Kyun?" Naina asked.

"Hum yahan naye hai. Hume in sab cheezon ke bare me kuch nahi malum toh kaheen hum'"

"Oye daffor' kaisi idiots jaisi baat kar raha hai. Chal na, you'll enjoy." Naina said slapping him on his back. Even though the three of them with Yuvi tried to make him agree he still didn't wish to come so they gave up.

"Yuvi tum bhi chalo na." Drish said to Yuvi who stood by his locker two rows away from them while Naina gave her a murderous glare.

"Nahi Drish mujhe kuch kaam hai, you guys enjoy." Yuvi said as he left after patting Sid on his back and giving Naina a smirk.

"Okay phir tum dono aa jao, I'm waiting outside by the car." Sid said as he went out joining Yuvi who was going towards the car park.

"Oh wow man, Audi Q7!" Sid said admiring Yuvi's car as they entered the car park. There were only a few cars there and Yuvi and Sid's car stood a few yards away from each other. He went across to his own car.

"Yeah right, khud ke paas Porsche 996 hai aur meri Audi Q7 ki tareef kar raha hai. I love yours, wanna exchange." Yuvi said as he opened the door of his car but got no answer from Sid so he turned back to see Sid gazing at the three girls coming out. Naina, Drishti and Gayatri were chatting while Gayatri was trying to manage her hair which were billowing in the wind. "Dude, kisko dekh raha hai?" Yuvi said patting his back as he came back to his senses.

"Who kuch nahi mai to Naina'" Sid said feeling embarrassed.

"Oh mujhe laga tu Gayatri ko dekh raha tha. She's really gorgeous!" Yuvi said at which Sid scowled and Yuvi just gave a mischievous grin as he went back to his own car. While the trio left in Sid's car and Gayatri left in her car with the driver, Yuvi managed to make Farhan agree to go with him.

With the same amount of fun the month passed creating some unbreakable bonds of friendship. While the trio was inseparable there were some people who were coming closer to each other. Drish and Yuvi became good friends during their hours in the general ward while Naina still dramatically voiced her displeasure at it even Yuvi didn't stay mum at it though. Gayatri surprisingly knew Sid very well from his likes and dislikes to how he was in his childhood but Sid never came to know how. They all were coming closer to Farhan who no more felt unwelcomed and gelled well with them especially Naina during their OPD hours.
