So here is the update:

Part 8:

Recap:

Mayank makes Nupur as jealous as he could do. Dance compettion announcement. Mayank hears SaNu convo.... and becomes upset. Nupur hears that Suhani is asking Mayank to be her dance partner and was sad. She was about to fall tripping on the wire, but Mayank saves her from falling.

Nupur was in Mayank's arms. His hands around her waist and her hands around his shoulder. They were just looking into each other's eyes... Lots of thoughts running in their minds at the same time. Many people in the office (including Suhani 😆) were looking at them. But they had no idea of the world at that time. All they cared was to understand what the eyes in front of them was trying to say.

Samrat comes for some work to their place and sees the scenario. He had to get them back in the real world as all the emoloyees were now watching at them.

S: Wow... Great guys.

By his loud voice, Mayank, Nupur both come back to the reality. Mayank makes Nupur stand properly, and both leave each other. Both were feeling embarrassed.

S: Cool, dude. Great step of salsa. So are you two being partners?

N: What? (Shocked at Samrat's declaration)

Mayank was confused on the other hand. "Kya Samrat aur Nupur dance partners nahi bane?"

S: Hey, guys? (He looked at both of them questioningly.)

Now all the employees (except Suhani) got back to their work. While Suhani came where the trio was standing.

Su: Magar Mayank, tum to mere sath dance karne vale ho na?

M: h? (Questioningly, shocked because he didn't say yes to her till now)

Su: Dekha? Ha.

Nupur was taken aback by this.

Just then Diya comes. Hey, guys.. "Ek rule he, Dance ke liye, bas abhi abhi circular ready hua."

S: Oh! Tell Nupur, Mayank and Suhani. I am not interested in dance competition at all.

D: Ok, suno.. The rule is you can not dance with the person who is your team member, too.

Suhani was most disappointed by this. (Remember, guys? Suhani and Mayank are in the same team.)

Mayank was most happy person after hearing this. "Ab Miss Fevicol se to pichha chhuta. Ab sirf Nupur ko manana padega, meri dance partner banne ke liye. Ab kya karu?"

Su: Magar esa weird rule kyu?

D: Babes, vo is liye ki... agar tum aur tumhara team member dono same time pe dance practice me lage hoge, to projects ka kya hoga? Aur competition ki vajah se office ke kaam me koi problem nahi hone chahiye.

Su: Oh! Ok. (And she goes away...)

M: Lekin mujhe to dance me participate karna he. Diya, tum meri partner banogi, please? (Looking at Nupur with the corner of his eyes...)

Nupur was hurt to a great extent now. Diya knew about Nupur's feelings for Myanak. Actually, Nupur never told anyone, but Diya and Samrat both had understood it by themselves.

D: Sorry, Mayank... Diya ka dance partner banna itna easy nahi. H, agar Nupur ko problem na ho, to tum uske dance partner ban sakte ho.

N: Nahi.

M: Kya?

N: Mujhe tumhara dance patner nahi banna.

S: Hey, but why?

Nupur glares at Samrat.

S: Um.. I mean... you will make a great couple... (As Nupur was fuming in anger, he continued...) in dance competition.

D: Hey, great idea.

M: What?

D: Both of you as dance partners. Sammy had told me that you are a good dancer. And I swear, Nupur is an ammazingly talented dancer. You both will rock the stage. I am telling Rishabh to write down your names.

And before Mayank or Nupur can say any thing, Diya and Samrat left.

Mayank and Nupur are looking at each other. This is what they wanted, but it didn't happen as they had planned.

They had not the slightest idea whose planning was that.

S: Thank God, Diya... You came at the right time. You are a life saver.

D: Thank you.

S: Vese ye rule sach me banaya gaya he ya...?

D: Of course, Sammy. (Raising her eyebrow...) But not by commitee members, by me.

S: h, mujhe laga.

D: Nupur shayad Mayank ko like karti he. To mujhe laga, mujhe uski help karni chahiye.

S: Ye lo, kar lo baat. Tumhe lagta he ki Nupur SHAYAD Mayank ko LIKE karti he?

D: yes. Why?

S: Because mujhe YAKIN he ki Nupur LOVES Mayank.

D: Are you sure?

S: Yes, Diya... 101%.

D: Aur Mayank?

S: He too loves Nupur.

D: Aur ye sab tumhe kisne bataya?

S: Guru Samrat ko koi bataye, ya na bataye... Vo khud ye jan sakte he.

D: Oh... And Suhani?

S: Ho... ho... she has a liking towards Mayank. Kabhi kabhi vo bholi ladki lagti he, to kabhi darr lagta he ki ye koi problem create na kar de...

N: Problem? Kesi problem?

M: Mere sath dance karne me... agar tumhe koi problem ho, to me mana kar deta hu.

N: Nahi.. Esa kuchh nahi he. I have no any problem. Tumhe koi problem nahi he na?

M: Nahi to. It's my pleasure.

Nupur became happy hearing this.

M: So, dance practice kab se shuru karni he?

N: Kal se. 15 din ke baad to competition he na?

M: h, to timings?

N: Umm... Subah 1 ghanta jaldi aa jayege.

M: Aur sham ko 1 ghanta der se jayege. Ok?

N: Ok. Magar 2 hours?

M: I think itna to necessary he, Nupur. Kyu ghar pe koi problem to nahi hogi na?(Fingers crossed.. "Say 'no problem' please..." )

N: Nahi. I will manage. (Looking upset from out but inside... Man me laddoo phoota... 😆 😆)

M: So kal subah 9:00 baje milege. Ok?

N: Ok. Me abhi jaati hu. Kam karna he.

M: Mujhe bhi. Bye.

N: Bye.

Chatting at night:

A: Hey, Ridzy...

R: Arman... Ridzy nahi... Me basket hu.

A: h.. vo hi. Sorry. How are you?

R: Fine. And you?

A: Great. I think I am the luckiest man of the world.

R: And I am the luckiest girl of the world.

A: So... Ammy noticing you now?

R: I think... he always noticed me. And your Ridzy?

A: I think she likes me. You know aaj kya hua?

R: Good. Hey, mom is calling me right now. Got to go. Bye.

A: Bye. Good night.

Next day...

Nupur and Mayank both came to the office early. Both were excited as now they will spend some time together. Mayank came to the office and looked for nupur. She was at her desk only.

M: Hi, Nupur.

N: Hi, Mayank. Kese ho?

M: Fine. Aur tum?

N: Me bhi thik hu. Ab.... Vo...

M: Kya?

N: Practice kaha kare?

M: Oh... Recreation room me. Is waqt vaha koi nahi hoga. To kisi ko disturb nahi hoga.

N: Ok. Fine. Aur CD player hoga vaha par?

M: h, he... Aur Cds me le ke aya hu. Ab chale, madam?

N: h, chalo.

And they go to recreation room.

Mayank took some CDs from his bag.

Mayank said giving her the Cds, "Ye Cds dekh lo, Nupur... Hum in me se koi song select kar lege. Thik he na?"

Nupur saw all the 3 Cds. All the songs were among her favourite, "Wow... Mayank. Hamari choice kitni milti he na?"

M: h...

N: Aur abhi practice me kaun sa song rakhege?

M: Umm... vo Salsa music rekh dete he.

Nupur thinks "Wow!!! Salsa... Hamesha se mera ek sapna tha, ki me apne dream boy ke sath Salsa dance dance karu."

Mayank sees that nupur has not answered yet, "Kya hua, Nupur? Salsa thik he na? I mean, tumhe Salsa dance aata to he na?"

N: Of course! Mayank...

Mayank goes to the CD Player, "Great.To me CD play karta hu."

Nupur takes her dupatta on one side and ties it.

As she was done, Mayank came towards her and stretched his left hand towards her. Nupur looked at him, and she put her soft hand in his hand. Mayank then slid his right hand on her waist and pulled her towards him. As Nupur was pulled in full force towards him, she put her other hand on his shoulder. Mayank was just looking in her eyes. And she looked back at him without even blinking her eyes. They started dancing..... And they didn't realize when the time flied away...

As they realized that it was already 11:00...

N: Oh no... Ab kya hoga? Hame to 1 hour subah or 1 hour sham ko practice karni thi.

M: Tension kyu le rahi ho, Nupur? Hum sham ko extra 1 hour kaam kar lenge. Vese bhi agar sham ko hum thake hue hoge, to dance paractice kese kar payege. Right?

N: By God, Mayank... Tum kabhi wrong ho sakte ho?

M: Thanks. Ab chale?

N: Chalo...

[So..... it was now as if they were good friends, and were talking properly. Of course! Now Mayank didn't talk to Suhani without need. Still Suhani always tried to talk to Mayank alone. Days were passing away... Both were missing their best friends... Bhul gaye? Chatting friends. Mayank was missing Basket and Nupur was wondering when she will be able to talk to Arman. Because when they reached home at 9:00, both felt so much tired, and went straight to bed...So none of them had visited DMGForums for so many days]

Day 10 of their Dance practice:

Nupur came and waited for Mayank in the recreation room. She was looking like an angel in white chudidar, and her hair were tied in a half-ponytail. She was practicing the dance step by herself... The step where Mayank has to twirl her around and then pull her back.

Mayank entered the room... And saw her. Her eyes were closed and she was twirling in circle. One of her hand in a position as if Mayank is holding that hand and other was kept at back. He came near her and stood there simply smiling at her. Just then she turned and collided with him. So both fell on floor, with Nupur on top of Mayank. Both were lost into each other's eyes. After a few seconds... Mayank came to his senses...

M: Hmm... Nupur.

Nupur, too comes back from her trance and sees their situation. She stands up so that Mayank can get up from the floor. Mayank stands up and sees that Nupur is looking here and there to hide her embarassment.

M: Nupur, practice start kare?

N: Hmm.. Yes.

So Mayank plays the music, and they start dancing. Mayank kept looking passionately in her eyes. A hair strand was coming repeatedly on Nupur's face. She was getting distracted by this and wanted to set her hair... so she tried to free her hand from his grip, but Mayank didn't leave her hand. He took his hand from her waist and pushed the strand behind her ears slowly. As his hand touched her cheeks, her cheeks were red. She couldn't look up. Mayank smiled as she was blushing. "Nupur... Tum blush karti ho to..."

Nupur looked up.

M: To aur bhi jyada khubsurat lagti ho.

"Thanks..." She whispered looking other side.

And they practiced quietly for rest of the time...

[Nupur was now quite sure that Mayank loved her, too. But Mayank had not proposed her yet. She was sleeping in bed and was thinking about her life, her love, Mayank.]

N: Pata nahi, ye Mayank kuchh bolega bhi ya nahi... Ab me thodi na us ke paas j ke ye kahugi, ki me us se pyar karti hu. Lekin kab tak intezar karu? Mayank, ab jaldi se bol do... Tum bin me kese jiugi?

Tum Bin jiya jaye kese? Kese jiya jaye tum bin..

Sadiyo se lambi he rate... Sadiyo se lambe hue din...

[Mayank was laying down on his bed, and thinking about Nupur...]

A sweet dimple smile on his face, "Bas Nupur... Thoda sa intezar. Is competition ke baad me tumhe apne dil ki baat bata duga. Aur mujhe pata he ki tum bhi mujh se utna hi pyar karti ho, jitna ki me tum se."

Day 14: [Last day of practice...Both were at their own home, getting ready for office. Tomorrow is the day of competition.]

Nupur was sad as the competition was tomorrow. Today was the last day of dance practice.

Kyun.... Phoolon ke khile khile rang udd gayye?

Kyun.... In dino khud se rehti hu me khafa khafa! Khafa khafa...

On the other hand....

Mayank was happy as he was going to ask Nupur tomorrow after competition.

Kyun.... Phoolon ke ude ude rang khil gaye?

Kyun.... In dino hosh me he mere nasha nashs... Nasha nasha...

Mayank was getting ready in front of mirror... And he could imagine Nupur in mirror...

Teri meri takraro se bana dil ka ye rishta he...

Ayana jo me dekhu to... tera chehra hi dikhta he

Jab se mujhe tu mili!!

Nupur was sitting on bed thinking about her first meets with Mayank... On road, in office before interview, on terrace when Mayank saved her...

Jane kesi mulakato me, yu hi esi vesi bato me...

Karee chhote moote vade the. Kisi chhote se bahane se...

Pa ke tujhe kho diya...

She reached the office and was now waiting for Mayank.

Meri hi he khata, meri he saza... Phir bhi dil kahe, ye kyu hua?

Kyun in dino, khud se rehti hu me, khafa khafa! Khafa khafa?

Mayank reached the office and was in a very good mood.

Kyun phoolon ke ude ude rang khil gaye?

He looked Nupur and smiled at her. She was upset, but smiled at him.

Aaj se jo mere kal hoge, teri ankhon me vo dikhte he...

Tere bato ke jo akshar he, meri dastan vo likhte he...

Esa mujhe kyun hua...

Nupur was really confused as what will happen now?

After the practice was over, she went to her desk. As she noticed that she had forgotten her purse in the recreation room. She stands outside the room as she hears voices inside. Suhani and Mayank in recreation room???

Su: Magar kyun Mayank?

M: Har kyu ka answer nahi hota Suhani. Aur jaroori nahi ki tum mujhe pasand karti ho to me bhi tumhe pasan karu. Why don't you understand that?

Su: Shayad tum aur Nupur ek dusre se pyar karte ho, right?

Mayank thought he should say yes to her right now. But he couldn't just do that, because he had not told this to Nupur yet. And it was Nupur's right to know that first. So he decided to lie to Suhani, unaware of Nupur's presence out side.

Nupur's heart beat stopped as she waited for his answer. She hid behind the door looking at him from the gap of hinges. She saw Mayank thinking something and frowning a bit.

Then Maynak spoke, "Nahi, Suhani. Esa kuchh bhi nahi he. Me aur Nupur SIRF dost he, aur kuchh bhi nahi. Ab please mujhe jane do. Mujhe vese bhi bahot kaam he. Ok? Bye." And without waiting for Suhani's answer, he turns and goes to his desk.

Suhani was somewhat angry and left after him. Nupur came out from hiding and wet in the room...

She was completely heart broken. Didn't he love me? In these 14 days, it looked like he loves me, and today... how much easy it was for him? Just friends... Kya mene galat samjha? Usne kabhi bhi mujh se pyar nahi kiya tha? Aur me kese kese sapne dekh rahi thi? Tears were rolling down on her cheeks, but she had no idea about anything. She sat on the chair and was crying hysterically...

Dhuan dhuan si kahani he...Tabhi ankhon me bhi pani he...

Galon se ye jo gujarati he.. tere gam ki nishani he...

Mit si gayi har dua...

Meri hi he khata... Meri hi he saza... Phir bhi dil kahe...

Ye kyun hua???

Mayank was at his desk... Thinking about his sweet moments with Nupur.

Kyun phoolon ke ude ude rang khil gayye?

And he sees that Nupur is not her desk. May be she has gone to Samrat and Diya's desk. He goes there, too but doesn't find her there. She must be in washroom. She will come in some time. So he sits at his desk, and waits for Nupur.

15 minutes had passed after that, but still... No signs of Nupur! He goes to Diya.

M: Diya!

D: h?

M: Vo Nupur kahi dikh nahi rahi he. Vo wash room me he kya?

D: Nahi, Mayank. Me abhi wash room se aa rahi hu. Vaha par to koi nahi tha. Uske baad gayi hogi.

M: Nahi, vo kab se gayab he.

D: Kuchh kaam tha kya?

M: h vo... I mean nahi, bas dance ke bare me. Kal costumes ke liye decide nahi kiya na abhi tak to...

D: Oh! May be vo recreation room me hi ho.

M: Vaha se to vo mujh se pehle nikal gayi thi. Phir bhi me dekh leta hu. Thanks.

D: Ok. Bye.

Mayank goes to look for Nupur in recreation room. As he entered the room, he saw Nupur sitting on chair. She was crying like anything.

"Oh! Nupur..." He rushed to her.

As she saw him, she felt the strange feeling like hatred towards Mayank for the first time. She got up wiping her tears. And took her purse.

Mayank reached her. "Nupur, Kya hua?"

Nupur tried to leave from there, "Kuchh nahi"

Maayank held her wrist and stopped her from going. "Nahi, Nupur... Batao, kya baat he."

Nupur fought with her emotions and firmly freed her hand from his grip. "Mujhe jana he."

And before Mayank could say anything, she left from there. Mayank was surprised by her sudden rude behavior.

He thought Nupur must be upset about something else, and he would ask her the reason later.

In the evening:

Everyone left the office on time. Only Mayank and Nupur were left now. Nupur kept her mind in work as she didn't want to talk to Mayank. Mayank came to her after some time.

M: Nupur, are you okay?

N: h.

M: To batao, kya hua tha subah tumhe?

N: Kuchh bhi to nahi.

M: Nupur... Mujhe nahi bataogi?

Nupur was getting irritated now. "Ye esa kyun kar raha he? Ab batane ko raha bhi kya he?"

Mayank raised her chin, " Nupur?"

Nupur got mad at him now. She jerked his hand and blasted, "Bas Mayank.. Bahot ho gaya. Vese bhi... tumhe kya fark padta he ,mujhe kya hua he is se?"

Mayank thought she was angry so it was necessary to lighten her mood.

M: h... vese to kuchh fark nahi padta he. Magar kal tak to mujhe tumhara dhyan rakhna hoga na?

Nupur looked at him questioningly.

M: Mera matlab he, after all tum meri dance partner ho. Agar tum khush hogi to hamara performance jyada achha rahega na isis liye.

N: Pata he. Is ke alawa tumhe aur kya fark padega, Kuchh bhi to nahi? Right Mr. Mayank Sharma?

M: Nupur? Ye tum kya keh rahi ho?

N: Vo hi jo tum sun rahe ho.
M: Nupur… Please thik se bataogi ki problem kya he. (He had tried his best to not become angry with her. But now he was loosing his temper.)
N: To suno... Mayank tumhe ye kyu pata nahi chalta ki kisi aur ki bhi feelings hoti he? Meri chinta karne ki koi jaroor nahi he. Kal competition me me apna best performance doogi...Aur uske baad... Mujhe pareshan mat karna. Ok?

Mayank got angry at this. "Kya, competition? To hamari friendship..."

N: Hum kabhi dost the hi nahi Mayank. Ye sirf hamara vehem tha,

M: Thik he.... (Looking intensely in her eyes) To kal competition ke baad me kabhi tumhe pareshan nahi karuga.

N: Aur me bhi tumse koi baat nahi karugi.

And they turn around and walked in different directions...

Screen divides in two parts... Both walking in opposite directions with tears in their eyes.

Now, I know you all are going to scold me and sab mil ke mujhe pitoge... To me ja ke aram se so jati hu.
