Hey friends... Here's update. Sorry for being late :(

Part 24:

Diya and Nupur heads out towards Nupur's home in Diya's car.

Nupur keeps looking out of the window and smiles occasionally.

Diya notices that. She fakes a cough.

D: Ahem ahem…

Nupur's transition breaks.

N: Huh? Kya hua?

D: Kuchh bhi to nahi, dear.

N: ok. (She tries not to smile anymore. She got to know that Diya is teasing her.)

Diya controls her laugh.

Soon they reached Nupur's home.

D: So? babes… tomorrow is Sunday. Any plans of going out?

N: Pata nahi… Kuchh decide to nahi hua. Par chahti hu ki thoda rest kar lu kal. Delhi trip se ane ke baad is Chinmay chakkar me aram hi nahi mila yaar.

D: Hmm… ok… ko baat nahi. Aram kar lo. Parso milte he. Bye.. Have sweeet dreams. (She says this stretching on sweet and with a mischievous glint in her eyes.)

Nupur's cheeks get red shade.

D: Aah! Someone looks cute while blushing, haan?

N: Bas karo Diya.. Bye.

And Nupur turns towards her home.

Nupur crosses the gate thinking of Mayank and all their friends' support on that evening. She thinks of Diya's part in that evening. Diya was her best of best friends. She can do anything to make Nupur's life easier. And she feels on cloud nine. She thinks that what can go wrong in her life now! She had a perfect love of her life, who loved her as equally and truly. She thinks that she had best of friends as she had Diya, Samrat, Pranav and Rishabh. She felt specially blessed and she thanks God for all happiness in her life. Little did she know that her share of difficulties was just a doorbell away in her home.

She was about to ring doorbell when she hears her mom's hysteric voice and retains from ringing the bell.

NM: Are, naak kat gayi meri to! Muh kala kar ke chhodegi ye ladki hamara.

NP: Arre, tum shant ho jao pehle. Kisi ki bato me aa ke tum hamari beti ko judge karogi? Ek baar Nupur ko ane do. Uske sath baat karo. Fir decide karna!

NM: Aap ki hi vajah se bigad gayi he vo! Delhi jane diya usko ye galti thi hamari.

NP: Nahi. Vo ladki he, par iska matlab ye to nahi ki hum use azadi na de?

NM: Har chiz ki ek had to honi chahiye na?

NP: Tumhe Nupur pe bharosa nahi he?

NM: Abhi tak ghar nahi ayi aap ki laadli… ye koi waqt he?

Nupur was not able to bear anymore, and she steeled her heart and pressed the doorbell.

Nupur's dad opened the door. As Nupur entered the house she saw her mom sitting in a sofa with angry yet sad look. She felt bad for that. She thought all the problem was due to her late night outing. So Nupur resolves that she will tell her mom and dad everything about Mayank right now. But she idn't get any chance to speak first.

NM: Aa gayi?

N: Maa, vo.. actually…

Nupur's mom cut her in middle of the sentence. "Actually tumhe der ho gayi beach se ate hue, he na? Kitne sare friends hote he tumhare!"

Nupur realizes that the problem was not due to her being out of home at late night. It was due to evening's drama. She cursed Chinmay in her mind. But she keeps silent and bits her lip.

NM: Chinmay ka phone aya tha. Kiske sath thi tum beach par?

N: Maa, vo me, Diya aur..

NM: Diya ke naam pet u kiske sath ghum rahi he? Nupur?

N: Ma, jesa aap samaj rahe ho vesa kuchh nahi he.

NM: Mene puchha kit um kiske sath thi? Kon he vo ladka, jise tum vaha shokh se Gajar ka halwa khila rahi thi?

Nupur's eyes filled with tears.

NM: Rone ki jarurat nahi he. Me puchh rahi hu kuchh.

Nupur looks at her dad. He encourages her to tell truth.

N: Maa, me Mayank ke sath thi. Aur Diya aur Mayank ke friends help kar rahe the hume ki jis se Chinmay chala jaye vaha se.

NM: Sun liye aap ne apni beti ke karname?

NP: Kya karname? Usko Chinmay pasand nahi he! To aur kya karegi bechari?

NM: Kya kami he us ladke me? Kitna sanskari bachha he? Heera he heera.

Nupur's dad looked intensely at Nupur, and says. "Hoi shakta he ki Chinmay heera he. Par ye bhi to ho shakta he ki jis ladke ko Nupur pasand karti ho vo 24 platinum ho?"

Nupur looks at her father and Nupur's father smiles. Nupur gets happy hearing that.

N: Mummy, papa.. Mayank sach me bahot achha ladka he. Aap log bhi khush hoge usko mil ke.

Nupur's mom gives in by combined efforts of Nupur and her dad to meet Mayank tomorrow.

NM: Lekin haan! Meri ek shart he. Mujhe ladka achha nahi laga to me Nupur ki shadi us se nahi karvaugi.

Nupur gets worried. But her dad gives her 'No problem' signal with his hand and she goes in her room.

She calls Mayank. His mom receives call.

MM: Hello!

N: Umm.. aunty?

MM: Haan beta… Kesi ho?

N: Ji… me thik hu aunty. Aap?

MM: Me to badhiya hu.

M: Kaun he maa?

MM: Nupur he beta. Ye le, baat kar.

Mayank takes phone from his mom. "Haan, Nupur. Thik se ghar pahoch gayi na? Koi problem to nahi hui?"

Nupur smiles instead of all the tensions. "Mayank! Tum bhi na! Diya mujhe ghar tak chhod ke gayi na jaan, fir?"

Mayank relieves a bit. "Haan, par tum ghar pe adhe ghante pahele pahoch jati. Ab tak phone nahi aya tha is liye tensed tha me."

N: hmm. Vo, actually…

M: Kya hua? Koi problem he kya? Uncle aunty thik he na?

N: Haan. Par

M: Tum thik ho na? ek minute ruko.

Nupur waits holding the phone while she could hear Mayank saying good night to his mom dad and climbing on the stairs to go to his room. Finally, Mayank speaks. "Haan jaan? Kya hua?"

Nupur lost control and started crying. Mayank tries to stop her crying. After 5 minutes, Nupur gets normal, and she was able to speak. She tells Mayank everything.

M: Oh! Ye baat he!

N: Hmm. Mene tum se puchhe bina hi keh diya ki kal tum ghar pe aaoge! I am sorry

M: It's ok. Me aauga, Nupur. Aur me hi nahi. Mom dad bhi ayege. You relax. Please so jao, jaan. Aram karo. Kal tumhe fresh rehna bahot jaruri he.

N: Kyu?

M (teasing her): Arre! Kal tumhe LADKE VALE dekhne jo aa rahe he!

Nupur smiles finally. : " Oh! Esi baat he! Keh do us ladke ko ki Nupur bhushan kisi se darti nahi!"

M: Achha! Vo to kal dekhege! Interview lunga me tumhara!

N: Ohh! Hello… jao jao… me koi silly girl ki tarah chai ki tray le ke nahi ane vali hu

M: Thik he… sharbat le ana… garmi bahot he vese bhi!

N: he he… Mayank… tum bhi na!

M: Are! Kal kya mujhe naam se bulaogi! Aur kal hamari first meet he! "Tum" mat bulana! "Aap bulana."

N: Aap! Aji.. aap sunte ho?

M: he he. Nahi… itna bhi sweetly mat bulana… Diabetes ho jayega!

Nupur laughs.

M: Hmm.. Aise hansti hui achhi lagti ho!

Nupur smiles. "Ok, boss… jesa aap kahe!"

M: Thik he. Me mom dad se baat kar leta hu. Aur hum log kal sham ko 7 baje tak ayege. Thik he?

N: Thik he.

Mayank keeps the phone and goes downstairs.

His mom dad were about to go to their room.

M: Mom dad! I want to talk to you.

MD: Haan, bolo beta!

M: Vo actually, aaj sham ko…

MM: Kya hua, Mayu?

Mayank tells them everything about Chinmay and their prank on him that evening. Then he tells them about Nupur's mom's anger and Nupur's promise.

MM: Beta, tum logo ko hum se baat karni chahiye thi Chinmay ke bare me. Us pe esa prank nahi karna chahiye tha!

M: Mom! Sorry, par mujhe aur koi tarika najar hi nahi aya!

MD: Thik he.. jo ho gaya usko hum badal to nahi shakte. Ab Nupur ke mom dad se kal mil lete he! Hume to Nupur pasand he. Agar unhe bhi Mayank pasand aa jaye to fir isi hafte sagai aur fir 3-4 mahine me shadi.. Kya khayal he?

MM: Haan! Baat to sahi he aap ki. Hum log kal jate he.

Mayank gets happy.

And all goes to sleep in their respective rooms.
