jai sameer ko uske room par le aaya..he switched on the lights..and make him sit on the bed.

Jai: (holding his hand) "sameer its ok aisa hota rehta hai.."

sameer was just sitting bending his head down..

Sameer: "yaar maine us par hath uthaya"

Jai: "haan to kya galat kiya.,agar tu aisa nahin karta to pata nahin aur kya kya bol deti wo..
mujhe to lagta hai ,us ladki ne jo bhi kuch kaha uske baad
she needs more than a slap"

sameer has not given any response to it..it seems that he was in total depression
jai was not able to see sk like this ..he was really worried for him,he has never seen
him like this.

he took a glass from the table... pour some water into it ,,and gave to sameer "dekh bhaii,
sab theek ho jaaega..hav some water u will feel better"

sameer holded that glass in his hand..jai continues "tu yahin rehna,,main bas abhi aata hoon"

and he left the room....

when he was walking down the stairs he saw diya..he stoped her and said..in agression

Jai: "tumhaari behen apne apko samajhti kya hai,,wo kuch bhi karegi or koi us se kuch nahin
kahega,,usse kehna ki sameer ke ek chante se baat khatam nahin hui,,main use itni aasani se
nahin chodoonga..mind it ab bache do din wo apni zindagi main kabhi nahin bhool paayegi"
and left the place

diya jai ki baatein sun kar bhagi bhagi apne room ki taraf gayi...as she opened the door,,what
she saw was..
khushi was sitting at the side of her bed,,and crying very desperately...her eyes were gone red...
her face was shivering with hurt...

Diya: "khushi (shocked) kya hua?? us sameer ne tujh par hath uthaya??
or tu yahan !!! chal mere saath, abhi chal main bhi batati hoon use aise kaise wo kisi par bhi
hath utha sakta hai..."

Khushi does not responded anythingh...so diya holded her hand and said "chal khushi,,aise rone
se kuch bhi theek nahin ho gaa"

khishi: "i love him diya....i really love him..usne kuch nahin kiya,jo bhi hua hai i m responsible for
it"

Diya holded for a minute and sat beside khushi,,,"khushi ye tu kya kah rahi hai? "

Khushi: "diya main sach kah rahi hoon,,maine bohut koshish kee ki main uske baare main nahin sochoon,
par jitna main usse door jaane ki koshish karti hoon,,wo utna hi mere kareeb aajata hai...
maine usse baat tak nahin ki..i tried to ignore him a lot magar mujhe to har waqt sirf usi ki
aawaz sunaayi deti hai...jahan bhi dekhti hoon bas wahi nazar aata hai..
aaj maine use bohut hurt kiya hai...but diya i.. m feeling its pain...i m feeling bad for him..
i don know ki ye sab kab hua,,but ab main khud ko aur dhoka nahin de sakti"

diya put her head on her side and tried to console her..

khushi: "main kya karoon ,,mujhe kuch samajh nahin aa raha"

as jai was very much concerned about sk..wo apne saare doston ko hotel bula lata hai...
but as they opened the door ....jai screemed "sk ye kya kiya...are u gone mad..
kitna khoon bah raha hai"

sameer has broked that glass which jai has given to him,,,when all hav entered the room that broken glass
was lying on the floor and sameer's hand was bleeding very badly...
but sk was sitting as before...

Emma: "jai please give me the first aid"

Jai: "yaaa....(he keep on saying) sk us ladki ne itna kuch kah diya uske baad bhi tu,,..bhool ja
use...usse lakh guna acchii ladki tujhe mil jaaegi"

Emma: (started cleaning his wound) sk..i think hume yahan kafi din ho gaye hain,,we should now
leave,,india main bohut kuch hai dekhne ke liye"

Jai: "yaa sk hum log kal hi nikal rahe hain,,jagah badalegi then u would feel better...
or dekna within one week tu bhool bhi jaaega ki tu kabhi kisi khushi se mala bhi tha"

SK: (after a long pause) main kahin nahin jaaonga"

Jai: (in anger) yaar teri problem kya hai,,bhool ja us ladki ko"

Sk: (in a loud voice) "bhool hi to nahin sakta damm..(he stood up)..nahin bhool sakta main use..
kabhi nahin..or yahi sach hai"

sameer ko is tarah kabhi kisi ne nahin dekha tha...they all got aside...

Sk:(cools down a bit) tum log hamesha kahte the na ,ki kuch hai jo maine tum logon se chupaya hai,
today i will tell u that....
jai tum hamesha se mere wollet main jo photo hai use dekhna chahte the na..(he gave his wollet to
jai) see it..

jai ne jaise hi wo photo dekhi he was shocked "khushi"

Emma: (on seeing the picture) "but how is it possible,,,kya tum khushi ko pehle se jaante the..
but i think tum india 16 years ke baad aaye ho..i m sure..then how could"

Sk: "u r right...actually ye picture khushi ki nahin .. nandini ki hai..."

Jai: "waise ek baat hai sk,,mujhe nahin pata tha,ki tum painter bhi ho..but ye nandini kon hai"

Sk: "nandini!(uska naam lete hi sameer apnee saari takleef bhool gaya) kya bataoon tumhe uske baare main.
chalo lets start from the begining...aj se about 43 years pehle..do dost apni families ke saath
yahan shimla main settle ho gaye.
unki dosti ka rang uske bachoon par bhi chadne laga...nandini and prithvi....

and he told them the whole story of prithvi and nandini..about their friendship,..their fights,,.
their life ...and their death...

a complete silence was there...everyone's eye was filled with tears ....

Angel: "why does it happen"

Jai: "wo sab to theek hai..but SK how do u know all this stuff??????"

Sameer smilled and said "mujhe nahin pata hoga to or kise pata hoga.....kyonki main hi prithvi hoon"

Jai: "what?????"

SK: "yes...rebirth ,reincarnation..suna to sab ne hai.,but yakeen shayad koi nahin kar sakta"

Emma: "u mean ...tum mar kar phir wapas aaye ho...or wo khushi ..she is that nandini"

SK: "haan emma...yakeen nahin ho raha na,,isliye ye baat maine aaj tak kisi ko bhi nahin batayi"

Jai: "kya wo khushi ye baat janti hai"

SK; "nahin....."

Jai: "to tune use bataya kyon nahin,,"

SK: "jai..agar koi tujh se aakar ye kahe ki tu jai nahin hai..koi aur hai,,jiske aaj se bohut pehle
mout ho gayi ...to kya tu maan lega...

ye ek aisa sach hai ..jo sach hokar bhi sach nahin hai..duniya main koi aisee cheez nahin hai
jo is baat ko proof kar sake"

Jai: "but ...mujhe to kuch samajh hi nahin aa raha ki main kya kahoon"

Sk: "tu mujh se kah raha tha na,,ki main use bhool jaaon ....jiski yaad se maut bhi mujhe juda
nahin kar paayi ...khud soch main use kaise bhool sakta hoon...."

Jai: "yaar..koi kisi se itna pyaar kaise kar sakta hai.?????..or wo khushi ..tujhse kah rahi thi
ki tu nahin jaanta ki pyaar kya hota hai..."

SK: "khushi ne jo kuch kiya shayad sahi tha,agar uski jagah koi aur bhi hota to yahi karta..
sahyad maine hi thodi jaldii kardi...
but galti to mujh se hui hai...maine us par hath uthaya....
jis insaan ka maine har pal intezaar kiya..aj us par haath uthaya.."

Tom: "i know sk its really hurting..but what now??? "

Jai: 'haan sk,tune apni poori zindgi uske liye jee,,par ab kya..
dekh..kisi ke aane jaane se life nahin rukti,,teri apni family hai,friends hain..they too love u
...they need u,,,tu is tarah apni zindgi ke saath nahin khel sakta"

sameer weared his long black overcoat...and got ready..

Sk: "maine bohut socha..shayad tum log sahi ho...main yahan aaya,nandini se mila..ye sab us upar wale
ne hi to kiya,,,aj main janta hoon ki wo kush hai,,her family loves her very much..
shayad humaari mulakat sirf itni hii thi..main kabhi use bhool to nahin sakta...
par jis tarah aaj tak jee raha tha waise jee to sakta hoon...uski yaadon ko mujh se koi alag nahin kar
sakta..or shayad god bhi yahi chahte hain ki main uski zindgi se
chala jaaon isliye unhone ye sab kiya" (a tear rolled down from his eyes)

Sk: "yaaa,,actually,,main ab khushi ka saamna nahin karna chahta...aj sham wo yahan se chali
jaaegi..use khud se door jaate hue bhi nahin dekh sakta...isliye kuch der ke liye church jaa raha hoon,
(he smiled and said) main aur nandini roz shaam ko church jaate the..kam se kam god to mujhe
pehchanege "

and he left the place...

Khushi: "diya..aj shamm ko hum yahan se chale jaaenge..main ek akhiri baar us se milna chahti hoon,
us se maafi mangna chahti hoon,..warna main kabhi khud se nazar nahin mila paaongi"

Diya: "theek hai,.tujhe jo theek lage wo kar..i m always with u"

khushi sameer se milne ke liye uske room par aayi..she knocked the door

jai opened it,,when he saw khushi he said "ohhh aap hain..i really want to welcome u..but kya karen
humaare london main na ajnabeeyon ko ghar main nahin ghusaate"

khushi jaanti thi,,ki jai uske saath is tarah se behav kyon kar raha hai..she ignored him and asked
"i wanna meet sameer"

Jai: "sk yahan nahin hai,,aur agar hota bhi to bhi wo tumse milna nahin chahta...or jo bhi kuch
kal tumne us se kaha tha,uske baad main bhi tumhe us se milne nahin doonga"

Khushi: "pleasee jai..tell me ki wo kahan hai...mera us se milna bohut zaroori hai"

emma was listening there chat she came to the door and said "khushi ,yahan ek bohut puraana
church hai sk wahin gaya hai"

khushi: "thanks emma" and she left the hotel..to meet sameer

JAi: "emma tumne use sk ke baare main kyon bataaya ..itni mushkil se usne khud ko sambhala tha.
wo khud khushi se nahin milna chahta tha"

Emma: "janti hoon jai..par sach to yahi hai na,ki sk ki khushi uski nandini ke saath hai...
shayad aaj god apna koi miracle karen ...mujhe abhi bhi lagta hai..ye kahani aise khatam nahin ho
sakti,,
i just want to give a chance to her..shayad sab kuch theek ho gaaye"

sameer wapas ussi jagah pohunch gaya jahan usne apni zindgi ke 20 years bitaaye the..,he could feel
that place..jaise aaj wo jagah phir se use welcome kar rahi ho...

he entered the church....it was a pure moment ...uski nazerien god ki image par tikki huin thi..
hazaaron sawaal the un ankhon main poochne ke liye lekin shayad words nahin the...

he sat down on his knees...and said "aap to mujhe pehchaante hain na...........
aj main yahan aapse koi complaint karne nahin aaya hoon...kyonki main jaanta hoon,,ismain aap ki
koi galti nahin hai,,..
maine poori zindgi nandini ka intezaar kiya,,,or aapne mujhe us se milaya ...but galti humaari hai
jo hum hamesha aapse zyada expect karte hain...
shayad wo meri kismat main hi nahin hai..isliye pichlee baar bhi wo mujh se door chali gayi ...or is
baar bhi...

(a tear rolled down from his eyes) but tried to smile...

but seriously i m happy...aap ne mujhe jo bhi diya,,i m happy with it..ye jo panch din maine uske saath
bitaaye hain ,,main in kee yaadon ke sahaare poori zindgi jee longa...but pleasee aap use humesha khush
rakhiyega,,,wo jo bhi chaahe use de deejiyega....use kabhi ye ehsaas na ho ki wo akeli hai..uski zindgi
main itna pyaar bhar dena ...ki wo mujhe kabhi yaad na kare..."

ek taraf sameer ..nandini ki khushiyon ke liye dua kar raha tha..to doosri taraf khushi use dhoonte hue..
wahin aa rahi thi,,,jahan nandini ki duniya basti thi...bas wo chalti hi jaa rahi,,jahan uske kadam use le jaa
rahe the...ye raaste use jaane pehchaane lag rahe the...don know why;;

sab kuch bohut ajeeb hi tha...jis jagah wo pehle kabhi nahin aayi thi ,wo jagah use apni oar kheench rahi thi,
maano wo jagah use acchee tarah jaanti hai...

phir achanak se chalte chalte uski nazar road side par lage ek board par padi...jo ek colledge ki
direction point kar raha tha...she was amazed seeing it...kyonki wo wahi board tha jo wo apne sapnon main
dekha karti thi..."how is it possible..ye to wahi jagah hai..iska kya matlab hai"

as she has realised ki ye wahi jagah hai jo wo apne sapnon main dekhti thi..she moved ahead to discover
more ...of what she has dreamt off...to confirm out that it is the same place...

it was somwhat changed a bit..but more of similar thinghs were there...those buildings,roads all were
fimilier to her..

then she reached to the place where she use to live 'the heritage society'...there she memorise the past events
...she could see herself there growing and blooming out with happiness.. ...the faces which were blurd in her dreams now
are getting clear in front of her eyes....

small small clips were getting refreshed in her mind...there she sat down on a rock by the side of the road
...holding her head by hir hands (thinking) "ye sab kya ho raha hai,,kon hai ye log..or main yahan !!!!"

she got up and asked the society watchman.."excuse me kya yahan 4th floor par koi rehta hai"

watchman: "nahin..main jab se yahan aaya hoon wo floor khali hi pada hai...haan kabhi kabhi wo log
yahan aate hain"

Khushi: "kon aata hai,,or wo yahan kyon nahin rehte"

Watchman: "wahi jike wo do flats hain..chuttiyon main kabhi kabhi yahan aate hain..mujhe to yahan aaye
abhi 2 saal hi hue hain,par suna hai..ki aaj se 24 saal pehle unke do bachoon ki delhi main ek
haadse main maut ho gayi...bas uske baad wo sabhi log ye jagah chod kar chale gaye,,,aap kya unhe
jaanti hain??"

Khushi: "pata nahin !!! kya haadsa hua tha??" she asked egerly..

Watchman: "are wo jo dilli main terriost attack hua tha na..usi main ,,isse zyada main kuch nahin jaanta"

khushi..after hearing this..could memorise the delhi attack..she was stunned everythingh was going
like a movie in her mind..."PRITHVIIII"

she started walking in the street...(thinking) "prithvi..ye ..sab kya ho gaya..tum sab jaante the
phir kyon nahin roka mujhe...."

her eyes were filled with tears .."ohhh god,ye mujh se kya ho gaya.,,,ab to main usse sorry bhi nahin
kah sakti...how could i ...ssshhhhh"

hill stations par mousam badalte derr nahin lagti...it started raining,,,or us baarish ne nandini
kee zindgi ke khoobsoorat panne khol diye,,,wo bas chalti hi jaa rahi thi,,apni hi duniya main khoi
hui

baarish ki aawaz sunte hi sameer came out of the church ...he opened his hands to welcome the beauty
of nature...

he also started walking on the street roads,,and remembering nandini..

suddenly he saw...someone walking on the middle of the road,,and a truck was comming from the back side..
he shouted "heyy,get away,,,get aside"

no body heard him...so he ran and pushed thet person to save him "marne ka iraada hai kya,,itni der se
hatne ke liye kah raha tha"

but jaise hi he saw her face "khushi!!!!!,,tum yahan"

khushi was constantly stareing at him but sameer was resisting any kind of eyecontact with her..he helped her in getting up
,or road side par ek rock piece par bitha diya,,,but ek baar bhi khushi ke chehre ki taraf nahin dekha.
may be he don wanna accept that he has lost her for ever..

after that,he got up start moving..wo abhi thodi hi door gaya tha ...par khushi ...usse shayad wo
bohut door chala gaya tha,,magar aaj wo use khona nahin chahti thi,,,

khushi (to stop him) "prithvi....pleasee ruk jaao"

prithvi ka naam sunkar ,,sameer ke kadam ruk gaye,,he closed his eyes for a while to make
himself believe this unbelievable thingh...then he turned around towards khushi..

khushi..was crying..baarish main shayad uske aansoo kisi ko nazar nahin aa rahe the BUT SHE WAS...her hands were joined
"please forgive me,,mujhe maaf kar do ...."

sameer opened his arms for her,,with a smile...."nandini"

ahhhhhhhhhhhhh...the moment came..jahan sirf kuch kadam ki doori thi...khushi came running towards
him...or sameer ne use apni baahon main bhar liya...

but she was crying...

Sameer: "hey..dekho rona nahin,,warna main tumse naraaj ho jaaonga...
samjha karo yaar,,itni baarish main main tumhare aansoo bhi nahin ponch sakta"

Khushi: "i m sorry ,maine tumhe bohut hurt kiya hai na"

Sameer:(holded her face with his hands) "teri koi bhi baat mujhe kabhi hurt kar sakti hai kya??
bhool jaa sab kuch..jo bhi hota hai acche ke liye hi hota hai..
now pleaseeee smile for me"

khushi smiled a bit or sameer ne phir se use gale se laga liya....
