All that day Prachi seemed to be upset. She was worried this time. She was in 5^th semester BBA with neev. Neev was comparatively more intelligent then her but Prachi always topped. Neev used to study from Inder and Milind whereas Prachi from class1 never took any coaching or tuition.

RESULT DAY

Prachi woke up early as usual and performed her daily rituals. She was in hurry and going to call neev but Inder called her and said"Prachi I want to talk to you. Please come inside."

Prachi: - sure papa

Inder: - I know it's your result today. All the best beta. I know you are my good girl and will do well. And don't get upset if you do not score good marks in accounts.

Prachi : - how do you know my accounts exam did not get well?

Inder : - you are my daughter. I know everything about you. Now go.

Prachi directly went to the bus stop without calling neev.

COLLEGE

Prachi is checking her marks on the notice board. She got above 90 in all subjects except for accounts. She managed to score only 70. She did not top this time she got the third rank. Neev was the topper this time. He was standing away from Prachi everyone was congratulating him. Prachi was standing with Riya.

Riya : - are you fine? You seem to be disturbed.

Prachi : - no I am fine I hope accounts mein bhi ache marks aa jaate to I would have topped.

Riya : - koi baat nahi. Har baar top karna bhi zaroori nahi hai. Acha listen Mrs. Sheetal told me that my roll no. is changed.

Prachi : - why?

Riya : - because there is a new guy whose name is from 'R' and alphabetically you will be on number 28 and me on 30.

Prachi : - lets see who he is?

Riya : - come soon or Mrs. Sheetal will not allow to enter.

Mrs. Sheetal was Prachi's class teacher. The lady was in her late 30's but considered herself to be very young. She was strict and never allowed anyone to enter the class after the bell goes.

Prachi enters the class and sees neev sitting with Aanchal. He usually sits with Prachi but now he was sitting with Prachi's rival.

"Isn't he supposed to sit with me" whispered Prachi to Riya.

Riya: - leave it. I am sitting with Shivam my jaanu is waiting for me.

Do one thing sit in front of me.

Prachi: - I am left with no option.

Mrs. Sheetal entered the class and began with her lecture. Half of the time passed and suddenly a new guy interrupted the class.

Guy: - may I come in?

Mrs. Sheetal: - who are you? Is class ke to lagte nahi ho?

Guy:- miss'

Mrs. Sheetal:- Sheetal

Guy:- Miss Sheetal I am new to this college I was at the principal's room collecting my admit card and other documents.

Mrs. Sheetal:- come in.

The new guy came in and sat with Prachi which was probably the one seat which was empty.

Prachi whispered silently," you impressed the lady in first meeting only"

The guy," this is my charm and no one can resist it. You know"

Prachi, "yes I very well know Mr. Ranveer Saxena."

Ranveer, "good".

The college was fun with Ranveer. Prachi forgot about Neev's sulking behavior.

Prachi:- come to home. Maa will be happy to see you.

Ranveer:- as you wish.

Ranveer and Prachi go to Prachi's chawl. He meets Premlatha. And then sign off to his home as his dear bhabhi, Payal would be waiting for him.

Prachi tells her mom about the result and tells her that Neev has topped this time.

Premlatha" yeh to bahut hi achi baat hai, tu neev ko bula kar la main uski manpasand kheer banati hun, jaa jaldi jaa."

Prachi, "jaa rahi hun"

Prachi goes to Mishra house. Gayatri congratulated her for her result. Prachi saw neev was sitting their on sofa.

Prachi" aunty maa neev ko bula rahi hain aap use 15 minutes baad bhej dena"

Gayatri," its ok my child."

Its around 1 hour but Neev did not turn up.

Premlatha got worried: - Prachi yeh Neev kyun nahi aaya? Main jaate ho usko dekhne.

Just then a phone rings and it is her beloved daughter on the line.

Payal had called to ask about the recipe of dam aloo. Premlatha was so busy talking to her daoughter that she didn't notice when did Inder come?

Inder:- are you over with your conversation with your daughter?

Premlatha:- yes. But when did you come?

Inder:- when you were telling her to add spices.

Premlatha:- neev ne top kiya hai is baar. Maine usko bulaya tha magar wo aaya hi nahi abhi tak.

Inder:- koi bay nahi.chalo humein hi kheer khila do.

Premlatha:- aapko kaise pata maine kheer banayi hai?

Inder:- kheer ki khusboo se. Premlatha main 27 saalon se tumhare saath hun. Mujhe pata hai ki tumahre neev ko kya pasand hai?

Premlatha:- yeh li jiye.

Inder:- yeh to waise hi hai jaise tumne tab bannayi thi jab hum tumher dekhne gyae the. Maa ne kheer ke swaad ki wajah se hi rishta pakka kar diya tha.

Premlatha smiled lightly. Inder and Premlatha had an arranged marriage but then two of them eventually fell in love with each other.

They faced their good and bad times together by being present at each others side.

Prachi:- maa main lalit uncle ke ghar jaa rahi hun.

Premlatha:- theek hai jaldi aana.

Prachi was very glad. She had done well. She was thinking about yesterday and thought that she hadn't talked to Milind once today.

She was thinking about him. And then at the gate of Mishra house bumped into him only.

He was returning from the office and she was coming from her home.

Prachi:- sorry

Milind:- its ok. How was the result?

Prachi:- don't tell me that neev didn't told you.

Milind:- he only told about his result.

Prachi:- ok. I am third this time.

Milind:- congratulations.

Prachi:- thank you.

Milind rings the bell and gayatri opens the gate. Prachi is standing at milind's left. Gayatri is day dreaming. She was lost in her thoughts.

Milind:- maa andar aaun kya?

Gatatri:= haan maine kab roka hai? Come Prachi, before you say something your uncle is in kitchen.

Prachi:- thanks aunty.

Milind:- what were you thinking?

Gaytri :- I'll tell you at the correct moment.

Milind:- fine I am going in my room.

Lalit was making moong daal halwa for Prachi.

Prachi:- mere liye bana rahe ho?

Lalit:- haan. Eat some and tell me.

Prachi:- hmm kya kahoon itna lajawab halwa to main pehla hi baar kha rahi hun. Cheeni kam nahi hai balki hai hi nahi.

Gayatri:- look I told you that you are getting old and leave all this kitchen work. Now you forgot to add sugar.

Lalit: - you may be getting old not me? Right Prachi?

Prachi:- yes aunty my uncle only looks old but he is young at heart.

Prachi moves out of the kitchen leaving senior citizens alone and then makes up her mind to talk to neev.

Prachi: - congratulations neev.

Neev: - thank you and same to you.

Prachi: - well maa was waiting for you.

Neev: - sorry I couldn't make up. I overslept.

Prachi: - look neev I want to clear all this. Why are you avoiding me?

Neev: - I am not?

Prachi: - let's get straight you are avoiding me and whatever may be the problem between us our parents shouldn't suffer. Right? My mom is waiting for you because she made kheer for her neev and she hadn't eaten anything. Do you realize it? No. but why may I know the reason?

Neev: - look Prachi I am sorry for Premlatha aunty. I told you I overslept. What do you think? Will everyone follow you wherever you go? Be it Ayesha, Milind bhaiya, me or Ranveer.

Prachi was on the nerve to cry.

Prachi: - I am not asking you to follow me but then why are you ignoring me. You are my best friend. I am just asking you the reason.

Neev: - hold on stop accusing me. When did you make me your best friend? Oh yes in the absence of Ranveer. But now he is back. So Prachi Ranveer is your best friend. And we haven't signed any bond that it's compulsory for me to talk to you.

Prachi: - so it's Ranveer. Are you jealous of him? No we haven't signed any bond you are free to talk to anyone. It was my mistake to consider you my best friend I am sorry. Please do one favor to me. Never in my wildest dream you talk to me.

Prachi ran from there having tears in her eyes she was literally crying because of neev.

Milind who had been a silent spectator to this conversation was furious on neev.

In kitchen

Gayatri: - I want to talk to you something important. Promise me you won't make fun.

Lalit:- promise.

Gayatri: - look Milind is eligible for marriage and I have found a girl for him. They will make a fantastic couple and the girl is appropriate for Milind. And we know that girl very well.

Lalit: - who is it?

Gayatri: - who else other than Prachi. She will be the perfect daughter in law. What do you think?

Lalit: - gayatri brilliant idea. I'll talk to Inder about it. You know past few months I have also been thinking about this.

Gayatri: - I somewhere feel they are a Jodi made in heaven only for each other.
