Chapter 28- Hey guys! Sorry But Maryam Has had trouble with her laptop screen so she told me to update for her, I didn't know how to write it a first but now i've done it! anyways here is the chapter you have been waiting for.......

Kripa's Point of View....

Half an hour later, I met Angad outside of the house. I give him a questioning look and he nods his head. I signal him to be quite and follow me, he nods his head so I start walking toward the house as if we had never walked in, I walk in to the living room and tap Anjaly from behind, she jumps and I laugh at her, all of them look at me and smile,

(no one's point of view)

An- Kripa!! Angad!! When did you guys come?

k- Just now actually

Angad- What are you watching?

N- Nothing just Scream 3...

K- Oh! Can I join?

Prem- You don't have to ask Kripa just come down and sit! And you Angad!

A- Alright (he goes behind them and slips a spider onto Anjaly's shoulder

It's quiet for a while until Anjaly starts giggling; they all look at her confused apart from Angad and Kripa,

N- What's happened?

An- someone's tickling me!! (She giggles again) Stop it Prem! I know it's you!

Prem- Me? I'm not even sitting next to you? How is it me?

An- Fine Prithvi! Nishaant! Angad! Kripa! Whoever it is stop it! (She starts laughing) STOP!!

All of them together – It isn't me!!! We're all together Anjaly; you're sitting on your own how can it be us?

An- Then who is it? (She starts feeling ticklish again but this time on her hand, she feels her hand and screams!) AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!

All of them jump hearing her scream,

N- What is it now Anjaly???!!

An- OMG!!! THERE'S A HUGE SPIDER ON MY HAND!!!!

Pri- oh god Anjaly stop screaming! It's only a spider! (He gets up to put the spider outside)

------- 10 minutes later-------

k- Hey guys?

Prem - hmmmm?

k- Where's Prithvi?

a- He went out to put that spider away duh!

K- Stupid duffer! Even I know that but how come he's taking so long?

Prem- He's probably talking on the phone or something

An- I can't hear anything and I'm closest to the door

K- I'll go check on him

They all just shrug and go back to watching the movie....

Suddenly they hear someone scream...

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

N- (Jumps up from his seat) KRIPA?!!! PRITHVI?!!!

Anj- what happened?

N- i don't know so that's why we should go see what happened. That sounded like Kripa. She could be in trouble! Come on guys lets go see what's happened

An- I'll stay here in case they come back ok.

They go outside but it's all dark so they can barely see anything,

Angad- I'll go inside to get some flashlights, by the way... where are they?

Prem- who? The flashlights or Kripa and Prithvi?

Ang- (rolls his eyes) The flashlights duh!

Prem- I'll get them instead I know where they are so it'll be easier...

Angad just shrugs (secretly smiles) and walks toward Nishaant...

-------5 minutes later--------

N- Oh my god! Don't say he's gone on a disappearing act too!!

An- I want to know what's going on and it's frustrating me that I don't know!!

He looks up to see Prem and Anjaly coming towards them looking scared and anxious carrying the flashlights.

Ang- What happened? Why do look so scared?

Anj- Woh...woh....

N- Woh woh kya laga rakha hai? Seede seede batao kya hua tha?

Ang- And it better not be another stupid spider!

Pr- Actually I went inside the store-room to get the flashlights, I needed help so I called Anjaly, We got them and Where coming out but the lights flickered on and off then they completely switched off, I turned the flashlight on and looked around but the we spotted something red, at that moment the light came on and we saw it was blood and it led towards the store-room...

Anj- Then we decided to follow it, so we went back into the store-room, we opened the door to see a knife hanging off the ceiling covered in blood! There was also a note attached saying that if we don't find them quick enough then they're going to die!

Ni- kya? Oh god!! What's happening?? Where's the note?

Anj- Ermmm... I kind of dropt it on the way...

Ang- It doesn't matter... let's just get to the bottom of this ok! Let's look for something, ANYTHING that will lead us to who's doing this!

Pr- Yeh come on....

They start looking around when Nishaant notices the light on the second floor on, he turns around to call the others but then he stops noticing something, There's someone in that room! And they're holding a knife as if they're going to stab someone! Then they hear someone scream! Oh no Prithvi! They're too late! No it can't be because from the window it looks like the person is running so that means... either the person has already killed Prithvi and is running away or he's chasing him!

Ni- (oh I hope to god it's the second one because I don't know what I'll do!) HEY GUYS!!!

An- What happened? Why are you screaming for?

Ni- woh upar maine kisi ko dekha

Pre- Kya?

Ni- haan aur lagta ha ki woh waihi par hai!

Anj- teek hai phir chalo

They go inside the house and Prem and Anjaly see that the blood is gone!

Anj- woh... woh... khoon yahan par tha! Where is it gone now?

Ang- Are you sure

Pre- Haan meine be dekha tha! Pata nahin ab kyun saara saaf hai ( i don't know why this is all clean now!)

N- Leave it lets go!

Pre- shall we go by the stairs or by the lift?

An- Lift se hi teek rehega. We'll get there faster!

N- yeh that's true!

They go to the lift but just as they are about to go in, when the electricity went off again, Scared, Anjaly grabs onto Prem's hand, she calms down and starts to let go but he won't let go!

Anj- Prem! Ab tum mera haath chor sakte ho!

Pre- Anjaly stop with this joking, I'm not even holding your hand!

The hand lets go off of Anjaly's

Anj- Now you're not holding my hand!

Pre- uff!!! I never was holding your hand!

Anj- Then... then... who's hand was I holding and who was standing next to me?!!

Suddenly they hear laughter coming from up the stairs!

Ni- I can't believe this! We were so close to him!

Ang- Come on let's not waste anymore time! We'll go by the stairs since the lift won't work.

They rush up the stairs but stop as they hear someone following them, but as soon as they stop the footsteps stop! They all just ignore it thinking the movie was messing with their heads!! When they reach the top of the stairs they stand outside of the room which Nishaant saw the Person in but there is nobody there!

N- meine yahin par dekha tha usko! Ab kaha gya?

Pre- I just hope woh Kripa Koh hurt na kare! Prithvi can defend himself but Kripa.....

Anj- Where is he? Look carefully he might be hiding somewhere!

Suddenly Prem gets tapped on the back, he just shrugs the hand off, the person taps again this time Prem turn around annoyed

Pre- Kya mujhe tang....... (he looks at the person in shock, he taps Angad who turns around and has the same shocked expression on his face, Angad does the same to Nishaant)

Ni- What the......

Anj- (still hasn't turned around) Kya huwa? Tum log itne chup kyun ho? (Why are you lot so quite?)

She turns around and is terrified looking at person dressed up in the scream costume holding a knife up in the air!!

PERSON- (tilts his head) Looking for someone? ( As soon as this comes out of his mouth Anjaly screams at the top of her lungs, this shocks the others and they scream too)

Suddenly Angad stop screaming and starts laughing! Everyone stares at him in shock!

Person- ANGAAAD! I was having so much fun!!! Why did you have to ruin it!!!

Ang- (still laughing) Sorry I couldn't help myself!.... Did.. you see....there....expressions?!!!

The Person in the suit starts laughing too whereas the others just look at them confused.

N- Wait a minute! What's going on?! Angad how come this creepy weirdo in the suit, who is also trying to kill us know your name?

Pre- Yeh and how come you're laughing?

An- Them question you dear little sister can explain! After all this was her plan! GUYS YOU CAN COME OUT NOW!!!

Suddenly a laughing Kripa, Prithvi, Aliyah and Josh come out from the room next door!!

N- Kripa? You're ok? And how come Angad is talking about some plan?

A sheepish Kripa explains everything to them whilst they stand there listening to all the information.

Anj- (annoyed and being pranked on) Ok but who is that guy there? Who is this stupid fat idiotic buffalo in this stupid suit? And who is she?

The person takes his mask off to reveal himself as Kavya!

Kavya- By the way, my name is Kavya Kapoor not stupid fat idiotic buffalo!

Anj- oops sorry, you see it's easy to get you two mixed up because you look exactly like one!

Kav- Youuuuu...... actually forget it! You're not worth the come back!

Anj- Ye....

J- Just stop it you two!! God! You just met each other like 2 minutes ago and your already fighting! (He turns to Nishaant and Prem) Anyways my name is Josh Singhania and I am Angad's Friend just like Kavya.

Ali- And I'm Aliyah Kapoor.

Nish- Your Kavya's sister?

Ali- No I'm his cousin....

K- Okay so now that we're all introduced can we go to sleep now! I'm tired!

An- (teasingly) your always tired sleeping beauty!

K- Oh just shut your pie hole!

An- (pretending to be confused) I don't have a pie hole though!

He laughed when she glared at him but couldn't as she yawned. He put his arm around her...

An- Alright everyone lets us go down stairs and get to know each other, whilst sleeping beauty over here gets her beauty sleep!

N- I agree with Angad here Kripa; you look pretty tired so you go to sleep whilst we all talk alright.

K- (Too tired to talk much) kk bhaiyyah.....

She walks off towards her room whilst they all watch her before going downstairs to get to know each other better.

-------NEXT MORNING------

Kripa's point of view....

I woke up the next morning to the alarm going off; annoyed I slammed it shut only to have hurt my hand. I groaned as I sat up rubbing my hand, I suddenly remembered what happened last night; I giggled remembering how Kavya and Anjaly had been arguing and how Angad had called me sleeping beauty. I hated to admit it but I actually liked it when he said that. He sounded so cute! I sighed. OH MY GOD! My eyes went wide and my hand covered my mouth in shock! Was I falling for my best friend? NO! I can't be! It's not true! How can I fall for him! I calmed myself down, 'no Kripa you like him as a friend nothing more, just because you're going out with him, doesn't mean you're falling for him!' I reminded myself in my head 'it's a bet, a bet, remember that, if it wasn't for that he would never ask you out!' my heart sank at that thought. Does he even like me? What does he think of me? Am I just a best friend for him? I shook my head and cleared my thoughts. Why am I even thinking about him? Just to get my mind off the stupid thoughts going on in my head I decided to call Angad for a race. I knew that would distract me. I grabbed my phone and speed dialled his number;

TRING TRING

An- Hello?

His voice was groggy and I felt bad for waking him up, but this was important

K- Hi, it's me

An- Kripa? Why did you call for? (whining) You know I sleep late!

Kr- Of course it's me stupid duffer! I just wanted to tell you that I want to race you in an hour ok you better be ready

An- (confused) what brought this on?

Kr- Nothing I just remembered we didn't have our re-match so I want it now! Are you sure you're up for it? Or shall I take pity on you and do it tomorrow instead?! (Teasing him)

An- (his voice changed immediately) BRING IT ON!

Kr- sure sure! Just be ready in an hour in front of your house ok!

An- In front of my house?

Kr- yeh! (Exasperated) Didn't you hear me?

An- why?

Kr- You are such a nosy parker! It's because I want to see daadi, I haven't seen her in ages!

An- oooooooh!

Kr- yeh! And I want to meet Karthik and Kannan! I haven't met them too!

An- (sarcastically) OH! So why don't you meet all the family?

Kr- GREAT IDEA! I haven't seen Naina mom and Dillip Papa in ages too! Ok now you go get ready! An hour remember!

An- yeh yeh! Whatever bye sleeping beauty!

Kr- shut-up! and bye!

An- (laughing) bye!

I ended the call and got up to get ready. I decided on a simply pink and white churidaar to wear today. I quickly brushed my hair and rushed towards my car. As I was making my way over to Angad's house my mind kept wondering back to him. He was a great guy. Yes he was a bit arrogant and egoistic at times but that was who he was, I couldn't change that just yet, it's only been a few weeks since we met. I just realised a part of me longed for more than friendship from him, but I didn't want to ruin what we had by my crush so I ignored that part. And anyway, he doesn't know the REAL Kripa, THAT Kripa got lost in the crowd 2 years ago...... as I pondered on my thoughts, I realised that I had reached his house. I looked over at it. I had to admit, it was a really nice house. I wondered who to meet first daadi or Naina mom? I decided to go to daadi first as I could always go to Naina mom when I go to see Angad. I knew he had probably fallen back asleep as soon as I had put the phone down. I smiled to myself; he was so childish at times! I walked over towards daadi's house, trying to ignore the newly developed feelings.
