Helooo guys!! here ...I post another update of this fic....I know that the story is progressing at a verrrryyy slow pace...but kya kare..? PART 8 :
"Maam she has cut her wrist ..bahut khoon beh chuka hai ", Neelu informed as the others were still in shock.
"Make her lie down......We need to stitch it at the earliest!"
While Neelu rushed to inform Aalekh....

Cut to Aalekh And Abhimanyu:
Aalekh and Abhi were sitting in Abhi's quarter.
Abhi informed Aalekh about whatever Shalini told him...
" Aalekh...agar Naveen aur Raj ke baad koi hai jo Naina ke kareeb hai toh woh tum ho.....Raj ko khone kaa uska gham bahot bada hai hum jaante hai....parr.... Naina ko sambhalna hoga....usse taqat aur himmat jutaani hogi......uska pyaar jo aaj uski sabse badi kamjori hai....lekin wahi pyaar uski sabse badi takaat bhi hai....she needs to realize that.....usse yeh samajhna hoga....aur yeh sab sirf tum kar sakte ho. Samajh rahe ho naa?"
" Apun samajhta hai sir....aur apun yeh karega....Naina apunki behen hai....uske liye toh kuch..."
Just then Neelu barged in...
"Neelu...tu yaha kya kar rahi hai?" , Aalekh asked shocked.
" Aa...Aalekh....woh Naina...Naina..."
"Naina? Naina ko kya?"
"Naina...infirmary...behosh..."
And Aalekh and Abhi didn't wait for her to complete and rushed towards infirmary.

INFIRMARY :
" Ali kya hua Naina ko?", asked Aalekh.
He told him everything..... Aalekh ke pairon taale zameen sarak gayi....
He was about to collapse when Ali supported him...
" Ali..woh Naina.."
" Dr. Shalini stitches maar rahi hai...sab thik hojayega Aalekh bhai...aap apne aap ko sambhaliye....Hume Naina ko bhi sambhalna hai...."
After half an hour Shalini opened the door and informed them that she is out of danger and asked them to let her rest and meet in the morning.
All others left except Aalekh and Pooja....they pleaded to let them see her once...
They entered along with Abhi in the infirmary to see Naina lying unconscious on one of the beds...
Drips inserted in vein of her another arm.
And shalini sitting by her side , her hand on her forehead.
"Dr. Shalini....ab Naina kaisi hai?", abhi asked.
" Theek hai ! bahut blood loss hua hai....usse blood bhi dena pada...."
" Par yeh sab...yeh sab hua kaise?"
"capt. I told you.... uska depression severe hota jaa raha hai. Counselling ka koi effect nahi hua... "
"Bahut ziddi hai yeh....itni aasani se thodehi manegi. Aur Raj keliye...", he stopped.
" Mam, ab kya?" , Pooja who was crying silently asked.
" Mujhe lagta hai ab proper anti depressant medicine dene honge. Parr haan....Naina ko tum sabke hausle ki bhi zaroorat hai.....Alekh.....medicine toh hai hi,parr tumhari zimmedari bahot badi hai.....Jaise ke captn tumhe bata chuke hai,tumhe yeh karna hoga..... aur pooja....being a room mate, tumhari responsibility bhi bahot zyaada hai....tum dono usse depression se bahar laane mein bahot madad kar sakte ho..."
They both nodded.
"Hume toh inki drills k chinta ho rahi hai .... woh major Nair..."
" Captn, Right now she is weak....aapko BC se kaise bhi permission nikalni hogi....I guess 1 week baad Naina drills mein actively participate kar sakegi.", Shalini said while she caressed her forehead," God ! please iss bachchi ka khayal rakhna..."
" Naina aapko jeena hai....abhi unlogo ko aapne saza nahi di ....aapko aapke bhai aur mentor ko insaaf dilana hai ", Abhi said going close to her and stroking her head....

Dr. Shalini had asked Aalekh to leave....but he didn't move by her side.
She was his family, His sister, His best friend...The first one to believe in him.
Finally she ordered him and he left only when he was permitted to be back by 6 in the morning.....Aalekh reluctantly left her and went to his dorm.
Naina got up around 4 in the morning....
When she open her eyes, she couldn't exactly make out where she was....
Her head was throbbing with pain....
When she lifted her left hand to press her temples, she again experienced excruciating pain in her hand.
She looked at it. It was bandaged professionally.
Her right hand bore needles and there was on going drip.
" Toh main abhi bhi zinda hoon..." , Naina said sadly with a sigh.
" Haan tu abhi bhi Zinda hai." , came a angry and concerned voice.
" Aalekh !"
Yes, Aalekh had sneaked in Infirmary once Shalini dozed off due to exertion...
How could he sleep, when Naina is in such a state?
" Tu khudko samajhti kya hai Naina? Haan? bata apunko...", He said sternly,teary eyed, " Har jagah manmaani? Kisne haq diya tereko suicide karne ka?"
" Main...main jeekar kya karu Aalekh? Jeene ki koi wajah bachi hai?"
" Kya Apun tere liye kuch nahi? Tere sabhi dost kuch nahi? Tere Maa Baba? Naina...tu akeli kaha hai? Apun sab hai naa tere saath.."
When she shook her head, he grabbed her shoulders,
" Tune ek baar bhi nahi socha naa apun pe kya beetegi? Tereko kuch hojata toh kya apun jee paata? Bhaai bolti hai naa tu apunko , kehti hai naa ki apun kabhi kabhi Naveen ki mafiq baat karta hai, toh kya ek pal ke liye bhi tune apun ke baare mein nahi socha? Nahi socha ki apun ki life mein teri kya jagah hai?"
He looked at her for an answer....when it didn't come....
"Kya socha tune ? Tere jaane ke baad apun yaha khush reheta? Kya yahi sikhaya hai Sir ne tujhe? Peet dikhakar jung se bhaag jaana?"
" Main thakk chuki hoon Aalekh....haar chuki hoon....", Naina said crying.
Before Aalekh could say further...
" How are you feeling Naina?" , came a stern voice.
That voice has always been sweet. But today it was stern.
"Shalini ma'am....."
" Agli baar aisi cheap harkat karne se pehle apne desh ke baarein mein zaroor sochna",she said angrily.
" Ma'am...main nahi jeena chahti...main mar jaana chahti hoon...mujhe jeene ka koi haq nahi hai...main...." , she began crying.
" Ro raha hoga ! ", said Aalekh frustrated ," Ro raha hoga Captain Rajveer jaha bhi hoga! Tu..."
He threw a photo of Captn. Rajveer on her lap,which he gotten from her room . Naina clutched it.
And he stormed out of the room.
Naina collapsed on the bed and was crying.....
Shalini put an assuring hand on her forehead.
She dozed off due to exhaustion and effect of medicines...
She was standing on grounds of Academy.....looking at the moon....
Lost in her thoughts....out of this world....
" Kya dekh rahi hai?"
She immediately turned.
Naina was ecstatic....She ran towards the bearer of the voice.
She was engulfed in his stretched out arms...
" Bhaiya...bhaiya aap kaha the? ", she asked sobbing.
" Chuhiya....main toh yahi tha. Tere paas.", Naveen said consoling her.
" Bhaiya...bhaiya mujhe le chalo. mujhe aapke saath aana hai. Mujhe Sir ke paas aana hai."
" Yeh tu kaisi baatein kar rahi hai?"
" Mujhe nahi jeena bhaiya...nahi jeena. Sab mujhe chod ke chale jaate hai. Pehle aap aur ab sir....."
" KOI KAHI NAHI GAYA HAI, CADET SINGH!!"
" Rajveer sir???"
She separated from her brother and turned to him.
" Koi kahi nahi gaya hai Naina." , He said taking her hand.
" Main toh humesha tumhare saath hoon. Maine tumse vaada kiya tha na? ki main humesha tumhara saath doonga.... tumne kaise soch liya ki main apna vaada poora nahi karunga? Kya aaj bhi tumhe mujhpe vishwaas nahi Naina?"
" Sir...yeh aap...main aap pe apne aap se bhi jyaada bharosa karti hoon."
" Toh phir yeh kya harkat thi Naina?" , Raj asked fiercely.
"Tumne bhi toh mujhse vaada kiya tha na? Ki meri jung tum ladogi.... Har cheez ka unse badla logi jeenhone mujhse sab kuch cheen liya.... Mera dost, mera career, mera pyaar..."
Naina looked up at once on hearing " Pyaar"....
" Bolo Naina...bolo. Kyu kiya aisa?" , He demanded.
" Main haar chuki hoon sir. Main aur nahi ladd sakti....nahi ladd sakti." , she said sadly.
" Kaise haar maan sakti ho tum?" , Raj grabbed her shoulders angrily.
" Jawaab do. Kaise haar maan sakti ho tum? ", he shook her ," kaise nahi lad sakti?"
Naina was sobbing, her head downcast.
He forcefully made her look at him.
" Tum MERI protege ho Naina ......." , Raj said looking deep into her eyes , " Captain Rajveer Singh Shekhawat ki protege banna koi aisi waisi baat nahi."
She felt overjoyed. Yes, she belonged......Belonged to Him....
"Naina...ek sipahi kabhi jung ko adhura nahi chod ta. Kabhi peet dikhakar nahi bhaagta. Jabtak aakhri Saans baaki hoti hai,ummeed jinda rehti hai.Ek sachcha Sipahi apni aakhri saans tak ummeed nahi chodta."
He said all this looking straight into her eyes.....passing the required confidence......
" Ek sipahi apne khoon ke aakhri katre tak ladta hai....Aur tum..... ladogi Naina."
" HUM ladenge sir.", she corrected him.
Rajveer softened a bit.
" Hum ladenge Naina...hum ladenge. Aur HUM jeetenge bhi !"
She smiled.
He couldn't hold any more. He took her in his arms possessively.
" Phir kabhi aise karne ki sochna bhi mat Naina....Main tumhare bina...." , and he just hugged her tightly.
" Main ladungi sir.....Aapke liye.....main jeeyungi...."
" Main ladungi sir.....Aapke liye.....main jeeyungi...."
She was twisting on her bed, clutching the sheets in her fists......
She was sweating and shivering.
Shalini neared her on hearing some muttering....
Naina was muttering," Main phir aisa kabhi nahi karungi sir...promise....main ladungi....apni aakhri saans tak....Hum jeetenge Sir....hum...main..."
Shalini began crying on hearing it. She shook Naina.
Naina opened her eyes immediately. She sat up.
Her whole body seemed to be under the spell of his touch; his fragrance, his manliness still lingered on her whole being. Was it because he hugged her so closely near the shootout or because he hugged her just now....
She saw Shalini in front of her and she hugged her tightly...
Shalini was stroking her head, calming her down.
" Ma'am....I'm Sorry. Mujhe aisa nahi karna chahiye tha..."
" Shshhh.... It's ok cadet. Parr ab tum phir aisa kabhi nahi karogi. Haina?"
Naina nodded.
Shalini smiled sadly and said ," Aur main tumse promise bhi nahi mangugi. Because main jaanti hoon, Rajveer se kiya promise tum kabhi nahi todogi. Naina.... Rajveer tumse door nahi gaya hai....woh kabhi tumse door jaa hi nahi sakta."
She once again tenderly patted her head and asked her to Rest and she herself dozed off on a Sofa..
Naina picked up the photo that Aalekh has gotten earlier.
It was her and Rajveer's photo at his so-called engagement with Ritu.

She was remembering everything ....he used to tell her....

"At last cadet singh, tumne mujhe sir toh bulana shuru kiya..."
"Promise me naina ki tum aapna saara dhyaan ek achha sipaahi banne mein lagaogi.."
"Naina waada karo mujhse, ki agar main apni jung nahi lad paaya to meri jung tum ladogi....."
Naina nodded her head in 'yes'....
"Badale raaste jharne aur nadi, badale dip ki tim tim

badlengi rituye ada, par main rahungi sada
usi tarah teri baaho mein baahe daalake, har lamaha, har pal...."
She was moving her fingers over his face....
As if memorising each and every detail....
If only, she had stopped him that day from going....
But she promised him, that she will be beside him come what may.....
She will proove him innocent, no matter what comes in her way...
And.....She will always BELONG to him.....
She loves him and will wait for him till eternity....
" Iss tirange se ahem aur jaroori kuch nahi hai...iske liye hum apni jaan de bhi sakte hai aur kisiki jaan le bhi sakte hai.....lekin kabhi ispar aanch mat aane dena......"
"Apne aur apne waqt ka khayaal rakhna cadet singh ......."
Naina wiped her tears....but those were still daring to come out....
She knew, she had to be strong now....For her brother and for her Love.
She once again looked at Raj's face.....and kissed it softly.
She felt like Rajveer was smiling at her from the photo....
as if saying...
" Just believe in yourself Naina.... Because I believe in you Cadet Naina Ah' Singh !"
Naina smiled at him.
"Meri saansein chal rahi hain Sir……iska matlab aap ho…..yahiin mere aas-paas ho!! Mera dil kehta hai ki hum jald he saath honge!!" She closed her eyes in a prayer for the well being of her love.
