Chapter 8B:

Halting the car in front of the Gupta's residence, Rahul turned to Muskaan and smiled. She sweetly smiled back.

Rah- ye lijiye madam aapka ghar aa gaya...

Mus (smiles) - thank you...

Muskaan opened the car door, took her belongings from the car and was about to leave when..

Rah- Muskaan, ek minute..!

Muskaan stopped mid-way and smiled. Looking at Rahul with a questioning look, she noticed his gaze fixed on her. She stared deep in his eyes. Drowning in them completely, she could feel her heart beating as fast as possible while his eyes showered the love which had this effect on her. A smile crept upon Rahul's face seeing her getting lost in his eyes. Slowly, Muskaan lowered her eyes as she got scared of loosing herself completely. Looking down, she started playing with her dupatta. Rahul understood that she was nervous and smiled. He took both her hands in his and brought them close to him. Muskaan gasped slowly but couldn't make an eye contact....her eyes still fixed at the ground.

Rah (smiles)- Muskaan!!

Muskaan slowly looked up and let her eyes meet his. Both smiled deeply. Rahul came close to her taking Muskaan's breathe away. Whispering softly and slowly, he said:

Rah-aaj meri zindagi ka sabse special din hai... (stressing on the word 'special')....kyunki aaj ek special insaan ne mujhe ek bahut hi khaas gift diya hai... (pointing towards his cheek, he continued with a huge smile on his face)...thank you

He brought her hands close to his lips and kissed them gently. Muskaan blushed badly on his comment and immediately withdrew her hands from his grip and looked away while Rahul just smiled seeing her blush like this. Suddenly he noticed Raj coming out of her house:

Rah (surprised) - Raj bhaiya!!!?? yaha..??

Muskaan immediately looked up and noticed Raj doing a little dance step in front of the gate and jumping high up in the air..smiling all to himself. She looked at Rahul with a confused look which he returned with an even more confusing and shocking expression.

Mus (confused) - ye bhaiya yaha kya kar rahe hai..aur ummm...inhe ho kya gaya hai....bahut khush lag rahe hai..

Rah-pata nahi...meri toh kuch samjh...He stopped midway when he noticed Moushmi smiling at Raj from the window. A grin came upon his face which didn't go unnoticed by Muskaan.

Mus (stunned)-Rahul!! mujhe tension ho rahi hai..bhaiya ki tabiyat toh theek hai..aur aap hans kyun rahe hai?

Rahul smiled more and pointed at the window. Confused further, Muskaan looked in the direction where he was pointing and noticed Moushmi blushing slightly and waving at Raj while Raj was just staring at her. Moushmi with her eyes told him to go..coming out of the trance Raj smiled to himself and left after having a last glance at Moushmi. Moushmi just closed the curtains and smiled shyly.

Noticing all this, Rahul-Muskaan looked at each other and smiled excitedly.

Mus-oyyee..balle balle....mujhe lagta hai ki bhaiya ne di ko sab kuch bata diya..

Rah (smiles looking at her all excited) - haan Muskaan...mujhe bhi aisa hi lagta hai...

Mus (happy)- Oh My God...Rahul...I'm soooo happy for them....yippee....All excited, she quickly hugged Rahul tightly. For a moment, Rahul was taken aback and didn't know how to react. After a while, he smiled and hugged her back. He knew how happy she was for her sister...all her lifetime she did everything she could for her sister's happiness and now her sister...no...his sister had got her soul mate. He was equally happy, excited and nervous...every emotion were playing music in his heart...his brother finally had found that perfect person...the special person who had filled his brother's life with beautiful colors of love. Tears of joy were flowing through Muskaan's eyes. The moment she had been waiting for so long had finally come...and the satisfaction and peace she had now...never did she have in her lifetime. Sighing slowly, she came out of the embrace and looked down. Rahul noticed her eyes. He made her look up by placing his fingers on her chin. Brimming tears were noticeable in her beautiful eyes.

Rah-arre ye kya Muskaan...aaj itni khushi ka din hai aur tum...tchhh.....He quickly wiped her tears from his thumb.

Mus (sobbing) - Rahul...mujhe yakeen nahi ho raha...ki ye din aakhir aa gaya...meri di Rahul...(she looked at him stunned)..meri di ko unka pyaar mil gaya.....meri di ko unka humsafar mil gaya,Rahul....

Rahul smiled.

Rah-haan Muskaan...di aur bhaiya ki zindagi mein ab se koi dukh nahi aayega...unki life ab se sirf khushiyon se bhari hogi...hmmm....

Muskaan smiled in between her tears.

Mus-main aaj bahut khush hoon,Rahul....

Rah(smiles)- main bhi...

Muskaan sniffed and smiled.

Rah(changing the topic)- main toh teen reasons se aaj bahut khush hoon..

Muskaan looked up..confused.

Mus- teen reasons??

Rah(grins)- haan....dekho....pehle toh tumne mujhe itni pyaari si gift di....(Muskaan got surprised and looked down).....phir di aur bhaiya ek ho gaye....aur......(he came close to her).....teesra tumne mujhe hug kiya......

Muskaan blushed a deep red and hit his arm slightly. Rahul laughed out and gently kissed her forehead promising her to be always by her side..while Muskaan closed her eyes. They looked at each other clearly showing their love. Without further waiting, Muskaan smiled shyly and got out of the car to leave..while Rahul sat back on his seat and closed his eyes to capture his Muskaan's smiling and blushing face forever. Opening them, he noticed Muskaan getting in the house. Smiling and sighing deeply, he started the car.............................................
