The Great Angad Khanna'JAILED.
To Kripa's surprise, Angad had not put up the slightest bit of a fight and had left with the police as if he was a friend instead of a culprit. She wasn't just surprised though- she was shocked. Shocked at herself- how could she do such a thing? But at the same time she knew she was right to do so as at first she was only going to give a scare to Angad and expected him to beg for forgiveness. If he had done that, she may have let him off with a lighter punishment such as never to see her face again. But he hadn't. Kripa knew the first was more optimistic so she thought that if he did outburst in the bad way, she would definitely hand him over to the police. That would have given him a more than fair trial. But he hadn't even done that. And the criminal had gone to jail without any trial at all! Kay sera sera was her motto though; whatever will be, will be. And she knew that she should have done this a long long time ago. If it was any other person she would have, so why should she back out when it was Angad? However the truth was that she was hurt. More than Angad it was her who faced pain to the thought that Angad was in jail, that too because of her! Yet again her anger masked over it all. Nothing meaning NOTHING would change her mind the slightest bit this time.
Angad had more or less given up by now. It showed to anyone who saw him there, sulking in the jail cell, dejected and defeated. The world though, still had not got enough. People milled outside the police station to get a glimpse of this scandal. There were millions, and yet not a single one of them were there for his sympathy. Not a single one there who cared about him, who thought that he might have done this rightly. Nobody was left with him. Not even Kripa. Or so he thought. For the first time in his life, Angad regretted not being kind or even remotely sympathetic to any of his employees or the rest of the world. And now, He was paying for it.
A telephone was ringing in the noisy police station that was full of officers trying to keep the media outside. The rings were going unnoticed and had stopped. An hour passed. Then two. The police officers had finally succeeded in keeping the media outside the police station and silence filled the place. Ring!! The shrill noise of the phone echoed through the place again and this time it was received. "Hello' oh okay'' Mr.Khanna? It's for you." Angad took the phone optimistically thinking it might be Kripa. That maybe their love had not failed after all! "Hello Angad?" It was Armaan's voice. Dissapointment washed over him and he replied quietly: "Yea Armaan?"
"What is going on over there Angad? You did what!?!"
Angad explained almost in tears at the end.. Remembering how he had hurt Kripa, how she had hurt him.
"Hey Angad' is that it? You've admitted defeat already? Don't tell me you've already forgotten about Riddhima! You know that the blckmailers have only given you five more days." Angad couldn't believe it! In his own selfish intentions, he had completely forgotten about Ridzy and the rest of his family. He had forgotten why he was actually doing this in the first place. How could he be so selfish?
"I-"
"It's okay dude.. I know how much you love my cuz and that is why I am helping you. Don't worry, Kripa will come back on track. By hook, or by crook!"
"Armaan' thanks dude."
"Hey that's what friends are for. No sorries, no thank yous. Ok?"
"K Armaan, but still' thanks"
"Yea yea' well anyways, bye."
"Bye."
"We will meet again in your wedding."
"I hope so" Saying so he cut off, a lot more relieved. Armaan always knew how to cheer him up, he had always been there for him no matter what. He knew that Angad was far from the perfect man but still, he had always stood by his side. Like Kripa had once done'
Kripa was the next person that Armaan called as she was the only one that could stop this case without it getting too messy.
"Hello?"
"Hello, Kripa, it's Armaan."
"Oh, hi bhaiyya. How are you?" She replied with a fake injection of happiness in her voice.
"I'm fine Kripa but I'm not going to beat around the bush. I want you to marry Angad Khanna."
"What!?! But why?"
"Well, why not? He was good to you three years ago and you two unnecessarily split and have not been happy ever since. I want you to be happy Kripa"
She choked back the words revealing what had really happened but resolved to a simple "No!"
Armaan sighed' He knew this was not going to be easy. "Kripa after all that has happened do you really think you could move on? Angad-"
"I hate that name. And I hat him even more. Bhaiyya please do not start this again. We hate each other and could NEVER live happily together. Now please change the topic or I may be forced to put down the phone on you."
He sighed again' she leaves me no other option. I am sorry Kripa but this is for your own good'
Another phone call came to the police station. After initial reluctance, she breathed down the phone "Hello, this is Kripa Sharma. I' I would like to take back my statement' and release Angad Khanna."
