Itefaaq-Part 11

Kripa sets the breakfast table in the kitchen just as she had done the day before.

After 15 minutes Angad was down in the kitchen. Kripa and Angad said their formal hello's mentioning nothing about the last night what so ever. Kripa did inquire Angad regarding his health, who in return told he was fine now.

Soon they were both seated on the table next to each other ready to eat.

It was time Angad broke the silence. He gathered up his courage and told Kripa that he would be leaving in the evening. "My friend has arranged someone to pick me up by 4 this noon" Angad answered when Kripa questioned him regarding his mean of transport. Angad, of course couldn't take his car because it was burried feets under the snow, and even if it was somehow possible to dig it up in a short amount of time it wouldn't probably work. "Oh alright," Kripa said smiling weakly. "There is one other thing I'd like to tell you Kripa, 'Thank You' for everything. It was very generous and kind of you to let me, a total stranger to you, to stay here. I have no words to thank you....". Before Angad could go on any longer Kripa interupted him "It's alright, you don't need to thank me. I was just fulfiling my duties?" "Duties? Angad questioned confusingly. "Oh duties of being an Indian, being an human being...Helping a person in need," Kripa gave a small laugh. Angad also smiled a bit.

"I have been living alone for quite a long time now.You know what? It was nice to have someones company for a little while, even though you were unconcious half of the time" Kripa joked lightly . Something about Angad forced Kripa to open up to him. She felt a dangerously confortable around him. It was almost as if she had known him.

Kripa was about to tell a awful lot about her life to Angad, but she stopped herself. She knew she wanted to, but just couldn't. It would have been too hurtful for her to bring old memories and top of that why did Angad need to know that? Why did she want to tell him?? Why Why? Why?? was the question that echoed in her mind. While Kripa was lost in her memory world, Angad couldn't stop staring at her. She reminded him of the person most dear to him.

"Friends?" Angad blurted out, out of the blue.

"What?I am sorry pardon me." Kripa exclaimed coming out of her dreamworld. It took a moment for Angad to realise what he had just said. "Umm do you want to be friends?" Angad repeated going red.

Kripa was totalty take aback. But "Sure why not!" she agreed happily. A sweet smile spread upon Angad's face hearing her words.

For the rest of the day Angad and Kripa talked to each other about theire respective lives. Angad was extra-careful, he didn't let Kripa in any way suspect him. He didn't know what she would do, if she had found out that he was Zaib. They shared a Kripa couldn't help but notice that Angad was in many way similar to Aryan, the way he talked, they way he smiled, the way he presented himself and many more things...

Time flew away quickly. The huge grandfather clock that rested by the fireplace in the living room, chimmed 4 times letting Kripa know that it was 4 o'clock, time for Angad to leave.

This is all for tonight. Sorry no preview for the next time guys. I might let you know what will be happening before I contiune😛. Hope you enjoyed this part, it was a little bit boring I know and I gave you some clues as of where the story is heading😉.
