Navin: (raises his hand) Mene kehdiya na

Rajveer is dejected and he walks out of the room wondering what next to do to make his plan successful when he saw a worried Ritu rushing around and going straight to Navin's room.

Rajveer: kya huwa Ritu?

Ritu: pata nahi. Aaj subhe se achanak Navin ke pait me dard horaha hai or me oske liye dawai dhoond rahee hu. koi farak hee nahi paraha. Bistar se bhi uth nahi sakta wo. Abhi kuch dair me mandir bhi to jaana hai

He walked inside to find Navin in bed and Ritu fussing over him

Rajveer: Kya huwa Navin? abhi do minute pehle to tum mere saat khare hoke baat karahe the

Navin: (innocent laugh) kya Raj tu bhi mazaak karta rehta hai

Ritu: Raj yeh mazaak karne ka waqt nahi. dekhai nahi deta me itnee pareshaan hu

Rajveer: pareshaan to me bhi hu

Ritu: tumhe kya huwa hai

Rajveer: kyu Navin (gives him the look) bata du

Navin became alert and warned him not to say anything

Ritu: kya baat hai?

Rajveer: me iske dard kee waje jaanta hu or ilaaj bhi

Ritu: to jaldi batao na. wese bhi dair horahee hai

Navin: nahi Ritu rehne do. Pata nahi Raj kya kehraha hai. is bechare ko takleef kyu derahee ho?

Rajveer: (goes closer to him) are nahi Navin is me takleef kesee. Wese bhi tumhaara khayaal rakhna mera farz hai

Navin: yeh farz kisee or din nibhaana mere bhai. filhaal me theek hu

Rajveer: Wah! ilaaj ke naam se hee theek hogaya. Hmmm (pats his finger on his chin) mujhe daal me kuch kaala nazar aata hai

Navin: (panics) hehe, tu phirse bakwaas karne laga

Ritu: yeh kya kehraha ha Navin?

Just then Mira entered the room with Naina. Navin immediately began his act of shouting in pain and moaning that his stomach really hurted.

Mira: kya huwa ise (is tensed and sits beside him)

Ritu: pata nahi mummyji aaj subhe se iske pait me dard horaha hai

Mira: tune doctor ko bulaaya?

Rajveer: kaha Maa, Ritu itnee pareshaan hai ke kuch samajh me nahi aaraha. mujhe lagta hai ke phone kardena chaheeye

Navin: nahi, nahi (in between moans) kyu khamakha doctor ko bulaate ho. Maamuleesa dard hai, theek hojaehga

Rajveer: aise kese theek hojaehga? nahi Navin I can't see you like this

Navin: (grabs hold of his hand and presses it really tight. No- one can see it) Mere bhai mujhe pata hai ke tujhe meree itnee fikar hai lekin mene kaha na (gritted teeth) ke me theek hojaoonga.

Rajveer: (comes closer to Navin and speaks low near his ear) tu to theek hojaehga lekin mera dil to bait jaehga na

Navin: kya chahta hai tu?

Rajveer: tu jaanta hai (gives a knowing smile)

Navin: or mera jawaab tu jaanta hai

Rajveer: theek hai (gets up and speaks louder) Maa me to kehta hu ke Navin ko hospital lejaana chaheeye isse pehle ke iska dard barjayeh.

Navin: are nahi nahi iskee koi zaroorat nahi

Mira: kya bacho jesee baat karaha hai Pait me dard hai to oska ilaaj karna zaroori hai

Navin: ha to wo ilaaj (tries to think of something and says the first thing that comes) ha Raj kehraha tha ke oske paas ilaaj hai

Rajveer: (pretends to be oblivious) mene kab kaha?

Ritu: tumne hee to mujhe pehle bataya tha

Rajveer: Ritu wo to me sirf isse behlaane ke liye kehraha tha but I think this is very seious (makes a pretense worried face) or hame forun action lena chaheeye

Navin: (pulls Raveer closer in again) abhe kyu mere peeche para hai?

Rajveer: mere romance ka patta saaf karke tu apna romance chala na chahta hai. Now how can I let that happen?

Navin: theek hai, me teree madad kar deta hu lekin tujhe bhi meree madad karnee hogee

Rajveer smiled as finally he got Navin where he wanted him.

Mira: (curious) yeh tum dono kya khusur pusur karahe ho

Rajveer: kuch nahi Maa. Navin mujhe oskee madad karne ke liye kehraha tha

Mira: kesee madad?

Both Rajveer and Navin panicked and quickly thought of a cover up

Rajveer: are iskee tabiyat theek nahi hai na, oske liye. me kaam karta hu ke me lejaata hu isko hospital.

Ritu: me bhi saath chaltee hu

Mira: theek hai. Rajveer tum Navin or Ritu ko hospital lejao. Baaki ke ham sab mandir jaate hai

Just as they are leaving Rajveer nudges Navin to help him stop Naina too, as now he wasn't going so he would rather spend time with her.

Navin: Ma (moans) Ritu kee madad karne waala koi hona chaheeye na. Raj to mera khayaal rakhega os darmiyaan Ritu ka koun rakhega khayaal?

Ritu: Navin mujhe apnee nahi, tumhaaree pari hai is waqt

He gives her a stern disappointed look

Mira: tu theek kehraha hai. Wese bhi pata nahi waha kitna waqt lagega to madad kee to zaroorat paregee. Naina tu bhi thairja, hum baaki ke sab mandir chale jaate hai

Naina nodded like a good obedient child

Both Navin and Rajveer waited impatiently for Mira to leave. Everytime she said she was leaving, she still stood there explaining things to Ritu. Giving instructions. As she left both of them sighed with relief.

Rajveer: maan gaye tujhe Navin, kya acting kee hai tune

Navin: rehne de, rehne de (brushes him off) ab ziyada mazka lagane kee zaroorat nahi. abhi bhi me apna irada badal sakta hu

Rajveer: (looks out of the door) abhi bhi Maa ghar se dhoore nahi gayee hogi

Navin: (gets off the bed) tu baar, baar mujhe Maa kee dhamkee kyu deta rehta hai?

Rajveer: kyu ke onhee kee wajese mera kaam hota hai

Ritu: yeh sab kya natak chalraha hai Navin? (hands on hips) Tum phirse...

Navin: uffo jaaneman itna khafa kyu horahee ho? yeh sab aaphee ke liye hee to kiya hai (embraces her)

Rajveer: ehem...ehem

Navin: kya besharmo kee tarha hame dekhraha hai? (disappointed) Tera kaam kardiya na? apni Naina ko le or nikal yaha se, isse pehle ke mera irada badal jaaye

Rajveer gave an innocent laugh, grabbed Naina and left the two love birds Navin and Ritu alone.

In the evening

It was New Years Eve and they had organized a party at their house and many people were invited. All the family members were present with all the close friends and business associates and friends. Gehlot was busy receiving everybody and chatting amongst the guests. All the elders were busy in that whilst the children ran around enjoying themselves.

The four couples, Rajveer - Naina, Navin - Ritu, Alekh - Neelu and Sameer - Sameera, were all busy with each other in different corners.

Rajveer: wow aaj to tum is pink dress me kamaal ki lagrahee ho. (holds onto his heart) darr ta hu ke kahi aaj raat khatam hone tak kahi me hospital na pohoch jaao

Naina: (slaps his arm) kya Raj kesee baate karahe ho

Rajveer: or nahi to kya (pulls her closer) agar aisee mind blowing lagogee to phir kise heart attack nahi aaehga

Naina: (gives a shy smile and slaps his chest) you're just too much Raj or tumhaara kuch nahi hosakta

Rajveer: jaanta hu or me zindagee bhar aise hee rehna chahta hu (hugs her) I don't want to loose this fun and happiness in our life ever

Naina: me bhi yehi chahtee hu Raj or hum dono ise sach zaroor banaenge. Ek saath.

They held each other tight vowing that they won't leave each other's side ever in life in any circumstances.

In the other corner Ritu was quite impressed with Navin.

Ritu: you know me jaantee thi ke tum bhi kaafi badmaash ho per yaha aake tum kuch ziada hee hogaye ho

Navin: (mischievious look) well ham to pehle se aise hee the. Yeh baat alag hai ke yeh parda tumhaare saamne ab jaake khula hai

Ritu: (puts arms around his neck and smiles) jo bhi ho per mujhe yeh Navin ziada pasand hai. Aisa hee natkhat, thora shaitaan or bohat pyaara

Navin: kya baat hai aaj to kuch ziada hee pyaar aaraha hai madam ko hamper

Ritu: yes or me chahtee hu ke yeh pyaar hamare beech hamesha rahe. I don't think I'll be able to live without you now Navin.

Navin: (kisses her forehead) me bhi to nahi jee paaunga tumhaare bina. Don't worry Ritu me tumhe chore ke nahi jaaunga or agar jaana bhi pare to tumhe apne saath hee lekar jaaunga.

Ritu: (embraces him) Promise?

Navin: pakka promise.

Both of them also held on tight not wanting to let go.

In the next corner there was a surprise waiting for Neelu.

Alekh: (removed his hand away from her eyes) ab dheere se apni aakhe kholo

She opened her eyes and exclaimed as she couldn't believe the sight. Alekh had brought her in another room which was completely lit by candles. It was so beautiful that she covered her mouth with her hand out of amazement.

Neelu: Oh my god Alekh this is so beautiful

Alekh: yes it is, per tumse ziada nahi (then he kneeled down on one knee and looked up at her holding a rose) aaj is haseen raat me ek haseen sa tohfa, ek haseen si larki ke liye

Neelu: (laughed and accepted the rose) wow Alekh maine to kabhi socha bhi nahi tha ke tum yeh sab bhi karsakte ho

Alekh: (puts hand out towards her) may I have the pleasure of dancing with the pretty lady

She kept laughing as this was all new for her. She never knew that Alekh could be this charming and she was loving it all. She agreed and gave him her hand and then he pulled her closer and danced with her slowly. Swaying from this side to the other and just making her fall in love with him all over again.

Then he took her towards a table in the center of the room where there was a cake. It had on it 'Alekh and Neelu forever'.

Alekh: me jaanta hu ke maine kabhi bhi istarha se apne pyaar ka izhaar nahi kiya tumse and I know how many times you've been disappointed. To aaj raat maine socha ke ab nayi shuruaat honi chaheeye. Jese kal ka suraj ek nayee subha or naya saal laaehga wese hee hamara rishta bhi ek naya janam lega. I'm really sorry for all the neglections per ab me sab theek kardunga.

Neelu: (had tears of joy in her eyes) Alekh itnee pyaaree pyaaree baate karnee kaha se sikhee tumne

Alekh: (holds her hand) sach bolu to yeh sab tumne hee sikhaaya hai mujhe Neelu. Pehle me nahi jaanta tha ke pyaar kya hota hai per jabse tumse mila hu sab samajh me aaya hai mujhe. Aur phir her din mujhe ehsaas huwa ke tum kya ho mere liye or yeh zindagee tumhaare bagair adhuree hai. Thank you Neelu for changing my life.

Neelu: (kisses him on the cheek) I really love you Alekh

Alekh: I love you too or chahta hu ke yeh pyaar hamare beech hamesha barkaraar rahe

Neelu: bhagwaan chaahega to aisa hee hoga

Then both of them cut the cake together and feed each other beginning a new life.

Now left were the fourth couple who sat together on one of the sofas in the secluded corner.

Sameer: Sameera tum sach me khush hona

Sameera: (hugs his waist and rests her head on his shoulder) agar tumne yeh sawaal mujhe kuch din pehle poocha hota to me yehi kehtee ke me nahi hu per aaj me dil khole ke kehsakti hu ke me bohat khush hu. Kya tum khush ho?

Sameer: (patts her head) tumhaaree khushi me hee meri khushi hai. Maine hamesha yehi chaaha hai or hamesha wahi chahunga

Sameera: kitna pyaar karte ho tum mujhse or maine kabhi bhi oski sahi tarhase qadar nahi ki

Sameer: (smiles) tumhe pata hai Sameera tumhaaree os naraaz gi me bhi mujhe sirf pyaar hee nazar aata tha. Isilye to tumhaara peecha kabhi chora nahi.

Sameera: (pulls out and pulls his cheeks in a loving way) tum itne acche kyu ho Sameer?

Sameer: ab kya karu (grins) aisa hee hu main

Sameera: (links her hand through his arm and rests her head on his shoulder again) jese bhi ho sab se acche ho. I don't want you to change ever Sameer.

Sameer: or me bhi roze yehi praatna karunga ke hamara rishta bhi aisa hee rahe or kabhi na badle.

Both of them prayed and vowed that they would remain together no matter what.

All the four couples had the thing in common in the end that they all knew they had made many mistakes in the past but with the coming new year they all wanted to start a new life together. They wanted to put the past behind them and move on to make a better and beautiful future.

After a while the party was still in full swing but love was in the air and it was blooming by the second. The four couples were on a high and decided to rock the party.

Rajveer and Naina rushed their way in the crowd hand in hand alerting everybody and the other three couples followed suite. All eyes went on them and they saw how all of them were on top of the moon and totally and completely in love.

Rajveer: hey hey hey hey hey hey hey

Naina: Aa ha ha ha ha aha

Navin: Ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho

Ritu: Aaa haha ha ha haaaaa

All the four had gathered together in the centre with their beaus.

Rajveer: Mohabbat
