Everyone was dancing and Sameera stood with her gaze constantly on him. Her heart was racing because she could feel he was singing for her.
He stepped down and walked towards her but just when she thought he would ask her he took Maya's hand and asked for a dance. He went closer to Sameera on purpose and whilst dancing he stared at her and sang

Sameera looked at him intensely then turned away from him.
maine sanam tujhe pyaar kiya hai
sirf tera intezaar kiya hai
He smiled and then took her hand and danced with her.
Sameer: maine sanam tujhe pyaar kiya hai

mujhse nigahein kahin pher na lena

She became conscious and left his arms and turned away
Sameer: hai tere khayaalo main khoya rahoonga
tere liye har dard sahoonga

saare jamaane se main yeh kahoonga
She could feel him coming closer to her and her heart was racing and when she thought he would take her in his arms again she was surprised to see he grabbed Maya instead.
Sameer: ho... jiska jaadoo mujhpe chala hai, jiska jadoo mujhpe chala hai

Eventhough these lines he said to Maya, Sameera could feel the connations in them. His eyes said it all. She began blushing and couldn't control it she left and had an urge to go to Sameer and confess her feelings once and for all.
Everyone applauded after he finished singing. Sameera wanted to go to him but Maya had her arms around him and was kissing him fiercely on the cheek. Sameera was really upset so just walked off. After he got free he saw she had already gone. Now the real game was going to begin and he just hoped it went as planned.
Then the announcement of the enagagement was done and everyone had gathered around the stage. Sameer's eyes were out for Sameera and he was hoping she would be coming anytime soon. The ceremony was announced and the crowd were applauding. Sameer's eyes were out searching for her but she still hadn't come. Then Sameer was going forward with the tray where the ring was and was getting near when…
Sameera: ruk jao!
All eyes turned towards her with amazement. None of them knew what she was doing and why.
Sameera: (towards them) yeh mangni nahi hosakti
Everyone exclaimed and started chatting amongst themselves about this outrageous demand. Sameer's parents and Gehlot were also asking her what is this but she didn't answer. But many people in that hall were pleased at what was happening as they had expected this and now were waiting for the show to continue.
Sameer: Sameera yeh kya karahee ho
Sameera: wahi jo mujhe bohat pehle kardena chaheeye tha (goes up closer to him) kyu karahe ho aisa?
Sameer: I don't understand what you're saying
Sameera: me jaanti hu yeh tumharee marzi ka faisla nahi to phir kyu apni zindagee barbaad karahe ho? Aisa mat karo Sameer please. (her eyes were moist)
Sameer: to or kya karu me Sameera? Mere paas or koi chaara nahi
Sameera: chaara hai…(Sameer stares at her astonished) ha tumhe yeh karne kee zaroorat nahi
Sameer: ek baar mujhe jo chaheeye tha wo mujhe nahi mila to phirse dubaara mujhse wo cheen rahee ho?
Sameera: or mera kya Sameer? (tears flowed down) maine jo chaaha tha wo tum bhi to cheen rahe ho mujhse.
Sameer: ab kuch baaki nahi raha
Sameera: kitnee aasaanee se kehdiya ke kuch baaki nahi raha (bit angry) agar aisa hai to phir wo kya tha Sameer? Itne saalo se jo tum karte rahe ho wo kya tha? (he looks at her with amazement) ha itne saalo se tumne jo bhi mere liye kiya kya wo sab jhooth tha? Kya wo bus ek mazaak tha? Kya oska koi matlab nahi tha?
Sameer: Sameera tum yeh…
Sameera: Ha Sameer tumne jitna bhi kiya hai mere liye kuch nahi bhulee me. Wo tumhaaree choti choti shararate, tumhaare wo pyaare pyaare cards or soft toys sab kuch hai mere paas.
Sameer: (raises his hand to quieten her and looks upset) bus Sameera ab mere zakmo ko or mat kuredo. Tumne hamesha mera sirf mazaak uraaya hai or mujhe tukhraaya hai. Bus ab mujhe or nahi sunna
Sameera: kya? (tears still flowing) or mera kya Sameer? Itne saalo se jo maine tumhaare liye apne dil me jage banayee hai oska kya Sameer? (this time Sameer was really stunned as his plan was working and the truth was coming out and he needed to push further) jabse tumse milee hu me sab kuch bhool chuki hu or ab tum kehrahe ho ke sab kuch khatam hogaya
Sameer: (turned away smiling but pretended to be oblivious) tum kya kehrahee ho mujhe kuch samajh me nahi aaraha
Sameera: (turned him towards her aggressively) it means I LOVE YOU DAMN IT!
The whole hall went silent with shock after that confession. Time stood still and Sameer kept staring at Sameera. Then all of a sudden a roar of applause was heard and Sameera found herself in a strange position. She shook herself and realized that apparently she was imagining all that had happened just now. She was still standing far away from the stage and the engagement announcement had just been made. She looked up and saw that everything was over and people were congratulating each other. Her eyes fell on Sameer hugging Maya and giving her a kiss on the cheek and he looked very happy. Tears flowed out of her eyes as the sight pained her. This couldn't have taken place. She couldn't have lost everything just like that.
Then Sameer turned towards her and saw her crying painfully and he became sad himself as to what happened to her. Then he saw how she just turned away from there and left the hall in a haste still crying. He followed her out too as he needed to know what happened.
She ran into a room crying out loud. Her heart just broke and she couldn't bear the pain. Why did this happen with her?
Sameer: kya huwa, itna ro kyu rahee ho. Tumhe to aaj khush hona chaheeye na ke finally mujhse tumhe chutkaara milgaya
She didn't say anything and just wiped her tears and turned around towards him.
Sameera: (forced smile) ha me bohat khush hu (she tried her best to push the tears behind her eyes)
Sameer: (started coming closer to her) kya sach me tum khush ho Sameera?
Sameera: ha me khush hu (turns her face away from him)
Sameer: (is really close to her now) meree aakho me dekh ke kaho ke kya tum khush ho
Sameera: (can't face him) ha…ha me khush hu
Sameer: (grabed hold of her by the waist and holds her tight alarming her) meree aakho me dekh ke kaho ke tum khush ho
Sameera: (she stares into his blazing eyes and finds a different passion in them. There is this strong emotion almost like rage) me…(turns away again) me khush hu, ab choro mujhe
Sameer: jab tak tum meree aakho me daal ke nahi kahogi, nahi chorunga
Sameera: (struggling) choro mujhe Sameer, leave me (he didn't leave her and she continued struggling and now tears trickled out of her eyes) please leave me Sameer.
Sameer: agar tum khush ho to phir yeh aasoo kis liye? Kis liye ha?
Sameera: mujhe dard horaha hai isliye
Sameer: jaanta hu kitna dard horaha hai tumhe, per yeh iski chote nahi (referring towards her held arms) per iski chote hai (points towards her heart) tum chaahe kitna bhi chupa lo Sameera per me jaanta hu ke tum kyu ro rahee ho. Tum khush nahi ho, nahi ho tum khush
Sameera: me khush hu (still crying) bohat khush hu (gradually she lowers down and rests her head on his shoulders and cries her heart out) bohat khush hu me, bohat khush….
Sameer: (engulfs her in his arms) bus karo Sameera, bus karo. Tum maan kyu nahi leti ke tum khush nahi ho. You don't like me going away from you. (she continues crying and holding him tight) tum maan kyu nahi leti Sameera ke tum bhi mujhse pyaar karti ho
Sameera: (still teary) bohat pyaar karti hu, bohat pyaar karti hu me or tumhe khona nahi chahti
Sameer: (pulls her out and cups her face in his palms) to phir itnee dair kyu lagadee yeh kehne me? Kyu kabhi mujhse nahi kaha ke tum mujhse pyaar karti ho
Sameera: darr lagta tha Sameer. Darr lagta tha ke kahi me tumhe kho na du. Lekin ab jab meri aakho ke saamne yeh horaha tha to mujhse bardaasht nahi huwa. I really love you Sameer and I can't live without you.
He kissed her forehead and then both of them hugged each other again holding on tight. Finally the confession had been made and yet another pair of two lovers had united.
Then they heard a strum of strings of a guitar and they separated with surprise. Their eyes fell on the door way and there they saw a smiling Rajveer playing a guitar with Naina leaning on the otherside.
Rajveer: do dil milrahe hai, magar chupke chupke
Sabko horahee hai, ha sabko horahee hai
Khabar chupke chupke
He went up near them and encircled them
Rajveer: do dil milrahe hai, magar chupke chupke (stops and then keeps giving them teasing looks) kyu aakhir me chori pakri gayi na
Sameera: uh…kya kehrahe brother I don't understand
Rajveer: acha? (pulls her ear) bari bholi bantee hai per yeh mat bhool ke me bhi tera bara bhai hu or tujhe acchi tarhase jaanta hu. Or jaanta tha ke hona ho aaj tu apne dil kee baat bata hee degi
She couldn't say anything and just gave a shy smile and Rajveer just hugged her as he was really happy for her.
Rajveer: me bohat khush hu tere liye
Sameera: (remembered something so pulled out) oh no Sameer ab Maya ka kya hoga
Sameer: (smiled) kyu osko kya hogaya hai?
Sameera: Sameer tum aise kese kehsakte ho. Aaj to tumharee or oski mangni huwi hai or tum…
Both Rajveer and Sameer burst out laughing confusing Sameera even more. She couldn't recall anything which was funny that she said so why were the two laughing so much.
Sameera: koi mujhe bhi bataehga ke isme hasne kee kya baat hai?
Rajveer: sure, infact tujhe dikhaate hai (looks towards Naina) Naina zara Maya ko to bulaana
She obliged and called Maya inside. Sameera kept giving confused looks and then she was alarmed when she saw Maya walk inside hand in hand with another man.
Rajveer: (went towards them) Sam yeh hai Maya or yeh (puts hands on the man's shoulders) hai Karan, oska mangetar.
Sameera: (finding it unbelievable) kya? Yeh iska mangetar hai to phir tum (towards Sameer)
Rajveer: yeh sab hamara plan tha. Jaan bujke maine or Sameer ne yeh naatak kiya tere saamne. Warna pata nahi kab tak tu aise hee bethee rehtee or phir Sameer sach much tere haato se nikal jaata.
Sameera: I don't believe this. To tumne mujhe jaan bujke itna rulaaya (glares at Sameer)
Sameer: kya karta or koi chaara hee to nahi tha. (folds arms across his chest) or phir tum ne bhi to mujhe itne saal kitna rulaaya hai
Sameera: to kya sirf tum akele roye ho? Me bhi to royee hu tumhaare saath. I really hate you Sameer (turns away crossed with him)
Sameer: (smiles with mischief) acha theek hai to phir me jaake kisee or ko dhund leta hu (atempts to go)
Sameera: (grabs his collar from behind) agar mere ilawa kisee or ke baare me socha bhi na to chorungi nahi tumhe
Sameer: wo to wese bhi mujhe pakra hee huwa hai (she becomes shy again and releases her grip and turns away from him hiding her flushed cheeks. He goes to her and turns her towards him) Sameera maine hamesha se sirf tumhe hee chaaha hai or sirf tumhaaree hee jage banayee hai apne dil me. Ab osme kisee or ke liye jage nahi hai or naahi kabhi hogi. Me tumhaara tha, tumhaara hu or tumhaara hee rahunga.
She is really awed by this guy and tears of joy come out of her eyes as she hugs him again. She couldn't believe it that finally she got the guy she always wanted and now her life was complete.
Rajveer: ehem…ehem…tum dono ko sharam nahi aati aise sab ke saamne ishq lara rahe ho
Naina: look who is talking mister (nudges him) khud to kitne bare besharam ho or dusro ko kehrahe ho
Rajveer: (held onto her side ways) are sweet heart hamaree baat hee alag hai
Naina: acha? (gives a pretense smile and then scrunges her mouth into a cross expression) ab chalo yahase and leave them alone
Before Rajveer could protest or say anything she pulled him out with him. Maya and Karan also left and Sameera and Sameer were left alone with each other.
Later on Sameera was surprised that every one knew about their relationship especially her father. He told her that after he saw her upset in the morning he went and met Rajveer and he told him everything that was going on. Everyone were happy about the new alliance asd the two families were friends anyways and Sameer was a great guy. The perfect choice for his daughter. Sameera was really happy and Rajveer was really happy to find her so happy. Finally this chapter was over.
Next day
It was 31st December and Rajveer was making plans for the evening. He knew spending the New
Years Eve with Naina alone wasn't going to be easy but that was the whole reason for why he had made this trip. Now he knew that Navin was on his side so he would be the only one to help him.
Naina: Raj aaj ham sab mandir jaarahe hai
Rajveer: (with his head in her lap) kyu aaj kounsa occasion hai?
Naina: oho Maa ne mannat maanee thi hamare liye or wo bus puree karne jaarahee hai
Rajveer: to ham sab ko jaane kee kya zaroorat hai or wese bhi mujhe or dusra bohat kaam hai
Naina: acha (makes a crossed face) subhe se yehi mere kamre me pare ho or ab jab mandir kee baat aayi to kehrahe ho ke bohat kaam hai
Rajveer: yeh baat nahi hai Naina (plays with her hair) lekin jabse ham yaha aaye hai tabse tumhaare saath akele me kitna kam waqt guzaara hai maine to bus soch raha tha ke yeh moka accha hai.
Naina: me kuch nahi sunna chahtee Raj, yeh maa kee shradda ke baat hai or me oski bohat izzat kartee hu
Rajveer: to me bhi karta hu per kya mandir jaana sach me zaroori hai
Naina: ha (pushes his head off her lap) ab chalo utho or tayaar hojao (gets off the bed and tries to go forward but he holds her back)
Rajveer: chalo na Naina aisa moka dubaara nahi milega
Naina: (pulling him) Raj please utho na
Rajveer: theek hai theek hai (finally gives up) chalo. Per meree bhi ek shart hai
Naina: (bites her tongue) kesee shart?
Rajveer: aaj raat party ke baad tum mere saath bahaar chalogee
Naina: are you mad? Yaha pe din me tumhaare saath akele jaane kee permission nahi miltee or tum itnee raat ko jaane kee baat karahe ho?
Rajveer: itnee baar hum bahaar jaa chuke hai kya kisee se permission lee?
Naina: os waqt kissee ko kuch pata hee nahi chala tha per is baar pata chal jaaehga or phir maa or baba…
Rajveer: (encircles his arms around her neck) to apne humraaz kab kaam aaenge?
Naina: bhaiyya?
Rajveer: or nahi to kya. Dekho ab to wo saala bhi maagaya hai to is baar wo hame zaroor help karega
Naina: lekin wo…
Rajveer: maine kaha na Naina just leave it up to me. Tum bus haa kaho
Naina: (sighs) theek hai. Per osse pehle you've got to come to the mandir. Chalo ab
Rajveer: (doesn't let her go) aise nahi
Naina: (saw the naughty glint in his eyes) Raj…choro dair horahee hai
Rajveer: Mujhe meree good morning kiss deeye bagair jaane nahi dunga (holds her tighter)
Naina: (struggles) tum bhi na Raj kabhi nahi sudhroge (she gives up and gives him a loud kiss on his lips) ab khush ho
Rajveer: haaaaiiii…sach me maar daalegee mujhe ek din
Naina: ab yeh saaree baate choro or chalo.
