Arpita and Shamit: all or nothing

Both have similar personalities and their approach to singing is the same. Since they are around the same age, I think the contest is really important to them because it can make their careers. Usually in the entertainment field, you have to make it big when you're young. Arpita and Shamit are ambitious, focused and take FG very seriously. That may be why everyone is against them, maybe because they are too determined, too confident. They need to be tough though or else it hards to make it big in the music world.

I also think both are being projected in a very negative light, esp Shamit. Some comments against are really uncalled for and I saw the clip where he broke down this week after hearing all the allegations against him. THAT WAS NOT ACTING OR MANIPULATION! What can be worse than public hate? Both Arpita and Shamit are aspiring singers and it stinks that their future singing careers can be affected by such negative publicity. Over to you guys...

wht would u do miss, if u were termed guilty whn the allegations r not even proved anyway...

a normal person would cry out...

& i thnk he does tht in gurukul, in front of his buddies...

not on stage to gain more sympathy...

even a criminal is allowed to speak in defense in court...

but he's hasnt been give a single oppurtunity...

Shamit has the support of his friends and should now try to put these controverisies and allegations behind him or else he'll be the one affected by them. He poured his heart out and now its time to move on.

I don't think Arpita is oversmart. She's smart and doesn't sway from her decision. I think she has the qualities needed to become a successful singer. That's just my opinion.

When quotes made by judgeas are hurting Shammit and can make him cry...even it hurts qazi too,even he can cry like a baby by the comments passed by his fellow students.Shammit soon after crying episode, in the debate of x and singer factor made nasty comments related to qazi indirectly,which can bring tears in qazi eyes too..but qazi in his turn made no comment on it he went on asusual on his own.so do you think shammit does not know his words can hurt qazi,when he himself feeling bad by others comments?i think shammit is agr8 politician,initially he cried like baby and said faculty padma is like his mom..so that he can be saved frm danger zone by faculties next time.Shammit should be thrown out of gurukul..this fellow is spoiling the healthy atmosphere in Gurukul .

absolutely...i dnt knw y pple have alergy wth both of thier confidence levels...everyone in FG, i bel. thnks he's the best...& thy shld hve tht confidence in thm...por pple lik qazi can gain sympathy frm the crowd now...

bt will he start crying once he enters the indutry..

he'll b kicked out...

directors, producers hve no time for sympathy...

thy need results, not efforts...

I'm not saying Shamit or Arpita are the only ones being attacked. I agree that comments made against Qazi were in bad taste and some were really uncalled for. This is not a Qazi versus Shamit post. I like both singers a lot.

Guys, don't give a single vote to Qazi. He does not not know how to sing.

Shamit's singing is his asset. He has an aamzing catch at sur and his voice quality is superb. And as ambitious as he is, he's always seen helping out other contestants.

as for crying, don't even get me started on that. that guy is publicly hated as diksha said, simply because he is ambitious and confident and doesn't delve into useless diplomacy like the others. look at qazi, he cried at the very first episode and he looks ready to break down every time he faces the judges.

Fame gurukul is for the best Singer and Performer, not the best person. so WHY INVOLVE ALL THIS? as K.K. said, everthing is fair in love and war. and righ tnow, FG is war
