anyways these shows are hit because of the people in it.The big stars like SRK and Salmaan always perform on the singers songs and their shows are hit.

No one knows if qazi and rex will reach the same height as SRK or Salmaan, only time can tell but when people attend these shows they attend it because of Qazi and Rex and not because of the songs they r going to sing.As long as they have the fan following the shows will be hit whether they r singing their own songs or someone else's and this is true for anystar, they survive because of their fans.

I agree that the die hard fans will go see them regardless. However, to expand their fan base these performers will need to have a few hits of their own. Without this their growht potential is severely limited. That's the point I was trying to make. I understand the Salmaan Khan shows that were held this past season were not widely attended. Nobody can deny that Salmaan has a strong fan following, but unless you are going to do something different each time, fans stop coming. This is true for any star doesn't matter how big. Even Shah Rukh and Karan Johar are being widely criticized for their pathetic acting and story/direction in KANK respectively. So nobody is above criticism. In the end it's only the quality of your work that will pay.

yup u are very right on that,i agree with u.They have just started their careers and lets see what they do.we have to give them some time.Bollywood is a difficult place to survive and all the established stars have taken their time to get established .I am just hoping that they would make the right choices because a lot depends on what choices they make and the kind of people they work with.

Yes this industry is very competitive and cut throat. However, I would like to point out that some stars (very short list) didn't have to struggle to make it big. Salmaan Khan gave a hit in his very first movie and never looked back. Aamir Khan is another star who has not had to struggle. Shah Rukh too didn't have too much of a struggle after Deewana (although not as smooth a ride as Salmaan or Aamir).

The most amazing story though belongs to Kareena Kapoor. She has given more flop films than any other top heroine today, yet gets excellent roles (Omkara for example) and gets to work with established directors. She is most certainly born with a silver spoon in her mouth. Her sister struggled more than she ever did.

For upcoming stars, watch out for Vidya Balan who will be a super star heroine within 2 years. She has everything (almost) that a top heroine needs to have. She has great screen presence, a very pleasant -- girl next door look (especially her smile), confident body language and excellent dialgue delivery. The only thing she is lacking in is her dancing ability. However, I don't see her coming in the teen-age candy floss types of movies anyway. She will overtake Rani Mukherji within 2 years. This is my prediction.

Ya Vidya balan is someone to look out for.She reminds me of a younger Sharmila Tagore,i don't know why, maybe it was her getup in Parineeta.

Karishma Kapoor had a good start but then again she made some bad choices, like the sarkay lo khatia song 🤢 which put her in a B grade list and because of that some of the top actors of tht time avoided wrking with her, that was the main reason for her down period but she realised her mistake and picked up from there.I think she is more graceful and talented than her sister Kareena.

Hi ani11... 😊

Yes, they mentioned in the link posted (thansd for the link from AVS) that the organisers are planning to bring them back. Hope they come to your town and you can watch them. 😃

BTW, Fame 2006 also got a mention at Rediff site along with the other shows this year (the disaterous Salman-John show). Saying the organisers had taken a risk, but now since they plan to bring then back early next year which mean they have been sucessful. And how the face of concerts have changed in US over the years. Infact, the anchor of AVS also mentioned that Qazi, Debu, Rex might be surprised to see that they have fans in the US.

BTW, did you see the guys who attended the Fame 2006 came out quite satisfied and seems to have enjoyed the show. Infact one audience (a male ) even mentioned Qazi being the STAR of tomorrow. Also, everyone had a special mentioned Qazi so seems to have been impressed by his LIVE performance.

But I hope they soon comeout with their own album, or Qazi announces what films he has signed and what is his debut film... We have been hearing about their album and films for months now, but no formal announcements..
