Not to be taken serious.

It's ok...😊

bold-😆😆

Another question...😛

U said that the wheel sinking thing was pre-planned...
Why did only Karna's wheel sink, and not Arjun's...or did Lord Krishna purposefully lead Karna to the area where the quicksand was located, but himself escaped from it at the right time? 😕

Arjuna's wheel also did sink in mud. But Krishna raised it. When Karna's wheel sunk, Shalya refused to help him. And there is a section which says Krishna had already planned to take Karna to a spot where this all can be executed. I exactly do not remember where it is now. I will give that reference after sometime.

you know there are many things baffling in MB but this chariot wheel oint takes the cake for the first among it. i have never understood it till now :
1)how impossible is it to get a replacement chariot- see after the fall of karna shalya addresses duryodhana as he is the cause of all this so i assume he was standing nearby- why couldnt he call for another chariot?

2) karna knows he is fightig with his arch enemy , hes waited for this almost all his life - why he had to get back on the chariot - he couldnt have fought standing only? just in earlier parva when getting to jaydrath Arjuna spends considerable time fighting standing on ground aginst chariot-riders when his horses are tired. why the chariot wheel bacame more imp than killing Arjuna??

I had once read a long article on Karna by someone...dont know who...and it was the best article I had read so far on him...
There the writer points out, that y was Karna so much bothered about the chariot?
I am not very well-versed with the nuances of warfare...maybe the chariot gave a lot of advantage or something...but nonetheless...

At such a crucial moment, y did he not focus on the war itself? This is a question that has confused me too...

I know he had made Arjun unconscious before putting the wheel, and then he was shot...
But still this question really bothers me?

Jamy...need ur help...again...😆

It's right there before the KK started. You had to be armed, on the same kind of mount, same weapon and get this, you had to be free of any anxiety😆 (paraphrasing here)

AFAIK, there are some minor differences between CE & North South books regarding Karna's death. But it is a big misunderstanding that Karna did not fight after getting down from the chariot. This is how it happened.
Karna gets down to lift car wheel & requests Arjua to wait. But Krishna asks Ju to shoot Ka. Ka says it is adharma to shoot him when he stood on earth & Ju stood on chariot. But G mocks him counting mistakes he did. Then Ju turns angry. Ka, seeing Ju angry, shoots Brahmastra & Ju nullifies it with another. Then Ju shoots Agneyastra & Ka Varunastra. Then Ka uses a waepon that makes all directions dark & Ju uses Vayavya astra against it. Then Ka shoots another weapon & makes Gandeeva fall from Ju's hand. In the short while Ju was getting Gandeeva back, Ka tries to lift the sunk wheel. (KMG has long long fights & dialogues again here) Krishna shouts to shoot Karna & Ju shoots Anjalika - Karna dies!
This is what actually happened IIRC. During war, when Ju once was weaponless/he had to get down, Karna did not fight. I think Karna never wanted Arjuna to be blamed for his death if he had to die. So he asked Ju to wait till the chariot is lifted back. He was lifting it back probably because Ju was not getting down to fight with him & his chariot was sinking into mud which made it impossible to fight standing on it. And he fought while standing on earth probably because he would get a channce to lift the chariot if he could make Ju Gandeeva-less for sometime. It was Arjuna who fought with his enemy. But Karna was fighting with his younger brother. As Karna already REPEATEDLY told Krishna - after Shanti Prastaava - that he knew about his death & still he would be fighting till his last drop of blood, I don't think Karna cared the outcome of that war at all. So what he probably thought while lifting his chariot was not about his own life, but Arjuna's state if he had to kill Karna when he stood unarmed on earth.

Does karna ask Arjun to get down from the chariot and fight or does he ask him only to wait till he lifts the wheel?

Brahmaputra i know that as per KMG karna did fight some time standing on ground. thats what my ques is why he had to stop inbetween to lift the goddamned wheel?? he should have simply continued fighting on ground only since he already became aware by Krishna's taunts that Arjun wasnt going to give him any sympathy or stick to rules.
