One of her interview she expressed that, she loves to speak languages in their respective accent
The accent she speaks in is not "the respective accent" of English. It is a fake sounding American accent. English is spoken in MANY accents. I am from New Zealand and we have a different accent. Australian's have their own, British their own, South African's their own etc. everyone that speaks English speaks it in the accent used in THEIR respective country. But for some reason, instead of speaking English with a "Polished sounding" Indian accent like maybe Mr Bachchan does, or even Salman Khan does. (Heard a few interviews of his). Di speaks with some wierd sounding put on accent! It actually dosent sound right!
When I speak English I sound like a New Zealander, but that is coz I have lived here for the past 20 years? It IS possible to "put on" an accent? But I have only ever heard that in actors when they are "trying" to do the accent of the character they are playing? Like British and Australian actors trying to do the American one?
I like Digangana, but half the time when she speaks in that wierd accent I dont understand what she is saying?? But usually I have NO trouble understanding the American accent? :) Go figure??
A person who speaks great English and sounds amazing doing so? Karanvir Bhora! He has a really nice posh sounding accent, and it is not fake at all! It's not American. It just sounds very clear and precise! Love how he speaks English.
