Anupamaa: Anupama consoles Khyati, both share their grief over lost sons

In tonight's episode of Anupamaa, Anupama folds her hands in humility as she leaves the Kothari mansion, with Parag walking alongside her to bid her farewell. At the same time, Prem reflects on the strength of truth, reminding everyone that honesty always wins in the end. He admits that Anupama displayed the courage they all lacked.

Before parting, Parag urges Anupama to take the car for her journey, but she gently refuses, choosing to travel by auto instead. She explains that she has some errands on the way and that cars cannot pass through those narrow lanes. Parag insists, but Anupama convinces him with her reasoning. With folded hands, she expresses her gratitude, only for Parag to stop her midway and thank her instead—for everything she has done.

Parag’s Regret and Concern for Prarthana

Parag is filled with remorse for neglecting Anupama in the past and expresses his concern about Prarthana's well-being. Anupama reassures him that Prarthana is like her own daughter and promises to look after her.

Parag worries that Prarthana may not forgive him easily, but Anupama consoles him by reminding him that love is stronger than anger, and sooner or later, Prarthana will soften.

Vasundhara’s Determination vs. Rahi’s Stand

Meanwhile, Khyati grows restless, questioning Anupama's decision. Vasundhara criticises the Kotharis, calling them irrational, and makes up her mind to bring Gautam back, even if Parag disagrees. However, Rahi confronts her, declaring that while she still holds resentment against Anupama, the injustice done to Gautam cannot be overlooked.

She warns Vasundhara not to even think about reinstating Gautam. Rahi admits that, if the situation demands, she will stand with Anupama when she is in the right.

Anupama’s Advice

Later, Anupama advises Parag that at their stage in life, peace and the happiness of their children should be the priority. She urges him to encourage Rahi to follow her aspirations and not let her dreams fade away. Touched, Parag agrees to support his daughter's ambitions. He then asks if Anupama intends to return to Mumbai.

Parag expresses that her presence ensures Prarthana's safety, but Anupama assures him that Prarthana will be protected, as she has Ansh, Leela, and Hasmuk by her side. She reminds him that he will always be welcome at the Shah residence.

Khyati Confronts Anupama Over Hidden Truths

As Anupama prepares to leave, Khyati intercepts her and confronts her for concealing the truth from the Kothari family. Anupama remains calm, stating she doesn't wish to reopen old wounds. Khyati admits her guilt, saying that because of her actions, Anupama could have been gravely injured, even losing her eyesight.

She accuses Anupama of trying to play the martyr by keeping quiet and insists she should return to the family to reveal the entire truth. Khyati tells Anupama that she is no longer the same person she was when they first met. Aryan’s death has changed her completely, to the point where she struggles to even recognise herself.

She admits she doesn’t know why she came to Anupama today, but says she could no longer hold back her emotions. Khyati confesses that she still hasn’t forgiven Anupama and perhaps never will; even now, she carries a lot of anger towards her.

She further admits that in her attempts to make Anupama lose, she committed grave mistakes. With tears in her eyes, Khyati questions why, after everything that has happened, Anupama still chooses to be so good. She asks her how she manages to remain strong and kind despite all the pain.

Khyati’s Guilt and Emotional Breakdown

Anupama responds gently, sharing her own pain of losing Samar. She explains that grieving endlessly would never bring him back, as some things lie beyond human control. When Khyati asks what remains in their control, Anupama firmly says that she was not responsible for Aryan's death. The weight of those words breaks Khyati, and both women are pulled into their memories — Anupama recalling Samar, and Khyati remembering Aryan.

Anupama comforts her, explaining that everything in life is temporary except for the actions one chooses. Only deeds remain permanent. Khyati asks how she managed to free herself from guilt. Anupama advises her to follow her own conscience, whether that means revealing the truth or continuing to bear the silence.
