Baldev frowned deeper,his mind already boggled thinking what this girl could be doing now..

Finally he reached the front of the crowd,and looked up at her..

Their eyes met and held for a few second..And Baldev felt overpowered by last night's hot memories again..

His body started reacting again in this crowded area,and embarrassed he looked away.This girl was sure going to be the end of him.

And then her sound reached his ears..

"Pritampura vasiyo!Sasriyakal!

[Priatmpura's residence!Greetings!]"

The crowd chanted its response,and for some odd reason,Baldev felt goosebumps all over his body,as his eyes met hers for a second.A second of magical feeling and then she looked away again..

But Baldev could clearly see the slight blush that covered her cheeks,and neck..

That sight made him look at her lips..Her soft lips were slightly swollen or was he imagining things..That girl had made him spend a sleepless night,and he had taken cold shower for the first time in his life to calm himself..His eyes travelled down her body..He loved how the violet kurta draped her curves,and he loved that snug jeans she was wearing too..He felt he wanted to touch and feel those haunting curves and-..

Baldev quickly cleared his voice,embarrassed,as his body was again reacting to his thoughts,and tried to concentrate on what she was saying instead,rather than studying her soft juicy lips and wondering how they would taste again..

Stop it Baldev!!!If you go on like this you might jump on the poor girl any time now!He scolded himself.

He tried to loosen his collar a bit to let some air in his body,and cool himself down as he simultaneously tried to concentrate on what she was saying.

"..Usse aap logo ki saamne bhi bauhot bar data..Iss liye main aaj aap ki saamne usse maafi mangna chahungi..Aur ek baat kehna hai mujhe..

[..I scolded him a lot of times infront of you people too.That's why I would also like to apologise to him infront of you people..And I also have something else to say..]"

Veera closed her eyes and took a long strong breath..

Her heart was racing like anything,and her hands and feet were perspiring in tension.Her mouth had also gone dry,and she was scared if she looked at him even for a second she might not be able to say what she had gained the courage to say..

Finally taking a long breath,she closed her eyes..

"Aaj mainu kehna hai ki-..Ki-..BALDEVA MAINU TUJHSE PYAR HOGAYI HAI!

[Today I want to say that-..That-..BALDEVA I HAVE FALLEN IN LOVE WITH YOU!]"

A hush of silence had fallen on the crowd after her words were out..

Some looked scandalized,some were blushing,and some looked stupefied..But when Veera opened her eyes to look at the expression of the one that mattered the most to her..Her face completely paled..

He was not there!!!He had left!!!

Insulted,and hurt more than ever in her life,she got down from the platform,and as if the crowd parted to let her pass,she tried to walk with her shoulders straight..

But as soon a she had taken a turning and was sure the crowd could not see her,her shoulders sagged down.

Her eyes were prickling with unshed tears,and something constricted within her heart tightly,as unbearable ache spread through her chest.

"VEERA!"Someone called her from behind,and that was when she started running..

The tears fell from her eyes,as she fought the pain that were tearing her insides apart.

Her footsteps covered grounds fast,as she felt her insides crumble with never before felt pain..She wiped off a stray tear off her cheek,her mind replaying how she had insulted him earlier..All the times she had laughed off his proposals..His caring for her..All she had done was thrown back on her face now..

How could she blame him, for refusing her like this in public when she had done the same to him..?

She ran until she reached a corner of the forest..

Without thinking she ran on inside,until she reached an opening surrounded by trees,with a pond on the center.

She slowed her steps but suddenly sprained her ankle.

"OUCH!"She fell to the ground,and winced in pain,as she tried to check the ankle..

Suddenly her hand stilled as out of nowhere a hand touched her feet.

All the breath left her body as she looked at a familiar handsome face,his face one of regret and etched with pain..

Suddenly her pain was forgotten as she felt she wanted to remove those lines from that handsome face.

He was studying her ankle,while she hungrily took her feel of his looks.

Strong wind blew at the long strands of his slightly curled hair,making them fall across his forehead..

She wanted to touch them all of a sudden..And without thinking she did just that..

He looked up the moment she touched his forehead,and Veera felt her hand and the world around her go still the moment her eyes met his..

Those dark orbs were pulling her brown eyes into a dark abyss,and she let herself be dragged into it without hesitation.The magic in them was sweeping her away and drugging her to enter into a new world where nothing existed,except him and the need that gnawed at her insides for him only..

Her heart was already racing fast,and her pulse throbbed ,as she felt herself being pulled towards him..His mesmerizing eyes holding her captive in its magical hold..

A bird cooed nearby making him blink and look away,as he studied her ankle again.

That was when Veera felt tingles pass from her ankle,where he touched it to spread everywhere in her body.

She was so lost in the new feelings she was finally accepting,that she just winced a little when he fixed her ankle.

"Thik hai aab?

[Is it okay now?]"Was she dreaming or was his voice softer than usual..

Numbly she nodded,and he stood up,as she did too without any pain this time.

"Thank you Baldev.."She mumbled,and watched him nod and look away.

That was when Veera realized she was ogling him like her next meal while he was clearly not reciprocating her feelings.

Embarrassed she gulped and looked away,and quickly wiped the last strains of tears off her face.

"Thik hai..Aab main thik hu..Tu ja iththe se..

[It's alright..I'm alright..Now you leave from here..]"

"KIU?

[WHY?]"He looked and sounded irritated as he again looked at her.

"Kiu matlab ki?Tera ghar iththe hai kya?!Mainu akela chadhdh de baas!Meri peeche kiu aya tu iththe?!Ja!

[What do you mean by why?Is your house over here?!Leave me alone,that's it!Why did you follow me over here?!Go!]"

"Tainu ki lagda ki tu koi shehzaadi hai?Jo main teri ghulam ki tarha teri pichche aaunga?!Aaih?!Mainu aur koi kaam waam nai hai ki?!

[What do you think,you are some kind of a princess or what?That I'll follow you here like your slave?!Don't I have any other work to do?!]"Veera looked at his irked face,and crinkled nose,and looked away instantly,as she suddenly felt tears blurring her vision once again.

She bit her bottom lip strongly,trying to keep the tears out of the way atleast until he was gone.

These words of his were the usual part of their regular fights..But today after she had openly shared her feelings for him in public,his each and every word seemed to pierce her insides and twist them with heart wrenching pain.

"Nahi..Main sirf Veera hu..Ek sidhi sadhi normal ladki..Aab-..Aab tu ja Baldev..Please..Mainu kuch der akeli rehne de..

[No..I am just Veera..A simple normal girl..Now-..Now please leave Baldev..Please..Let me stay alone for some time..]"Her voice was getting choked by tears now,and she quickly strode away,hoping he had taken her request seriously and was truly leaving her alone..

She had not taken five steps,when suddenly she felt a strong hand pull her backwards into a tight embrace.

She gasped out,and desperately tried to keep her face turned down trying to hide the shameless tears that fell down her face,while simultaneously fought to be set free.

"Baldev tu ki kar raha hai..?!Chadhdh mainu!

[Baldeva what are you doing..?!Let me go!]"She choked out.

But she might as well have stayed quiet..Cause her words seemed to have fallen onto deaf ears..

He pulled her face upwards with one hand instead,while with the other he held her captive,holding her close to his hard body at the waist.

Veera quickly closed her eyes trying in vain to hide her tears,but the tears fell on making her really ashamed..

But something scratchy and soft touching her wet cheeks made her open her eyes wide..

Was she dreaming?!Or was Baldev kissing her tears away..?!

"Baldev!Ye tu-..

[Baldev!What are you-..]"

"Shhhsshhh!Ye asu saare mere hai Veera..!Jaise ki tu mera hai!

[Shhhsshhh!These tears are all mine Veera..!Just like you are all mine!]"He whispered huskily looking into her wet glistening eyes..

Veera felt her jaw drop open at his words..

What did he just say?!She surely must be dreaming all these!

She closed her eyes and opened them again,to be sure she was not dreaming..

"Maine teri haar baat suna hai Veera..Par dur se..Aur mainu bhi-..

[Ihave listened to your every word Veera..But from afar..And I also-..]"His voice had toned down to a husky one now,and he pulled her closer to his body..

His face so close to hers,that his warm moist breath tickled her lips,and made her dizzy with the strange sensations that were already rocketing through her body.

"Aur tainu bhi-..?

[And you also-..?]"Veera whispered softly,impatient to hear the words from him.

"Mainu bhi-..

[I also-..]"His lips were so close to hers now,that if she moved even an inch,their lips would meet..But Veera was impatient to hear the words..

"Bol na Baldeva!Tainu bhi-..?

[Tell me Baldev!You also-..?]"

He moved his lips to her ears,his lips touching her earlobe,making her shiver in response..

"Veera.."

Ohhh!His voice sounded so delicious when he said her name like that!But Veera wanted to hear more.

"Hmmm?"

"Veera..Mainu bhi-..Mainu bhi tujhe maafi de dena chahiye!Hai ki nai?

[Veera..I also shoul forgive you!Right?!]"His soft whisper into her ear was followed by his soft chuckle.

Veera was stunned to stillness for a second or two.

But then slowly rage took over her.

She pushed him away from herself.

Baldev waited for her hot angry tirade,as he was pushed away from her..

But then when she raised her eyes to him,all the breath left his body,as those beautiful brown eyes were now shining with a strange light now.

And before baldev could understand what she was about,he was pushed up against a nearby tree trunk.

He was opening his mouth to ask what was she doing,when all the breath left his body in a whoosh,as her soft hands were moving along the front of his kurta,and then had curved round his neck,after gently passing along the skin of his throat..

His skin was already on fire,and his hormones already running wild,when she pushed her soft body up against his.

Shit!If she only knew what she is doing to my lower region right now!i have to stop this before my scoundrel body lets her know loud and clear how much I NEED her!

But Baldev Singh never got the time to respond or stop her,as her soft slim fingers crushed into his hair,and pulled his face down,and in the next instant her soft lips had claimed his.

WOW!!!His eyes widened in astonishment,and then when those soft lips started moving over his,he forgot to think at all.

When her hot tongue ran through the crease of his lips,Baldev lost all control,and his hands curved round her waist,as his hot mouth started kissing her back.

When he ran his hot tongue ran through insides of her soft sweet tasting mouth,she moaned out his name against his mouth which ran like sweet music though his blood..

His hands,by mistake, touched the soft skin of her waist,as her kurta had gone up in the embrace..But once done,he did not feel the need to stop,as he gently caressed her warm soft skin there.

She moaned out again..

And Baldev kissed her hungrier than ever..

After a few minutes Veera pushed him away,just like she had come to him..

But Baldev of course was not ready to let her go now!

So he pulled her close again..

As both breathed heavily,she rested her arms against his chest,to keep him from pulling her any closer..

"Aab bata mainu..Tu ki keh raha tha..?Tainu ki kehna tha mujhse..?

[Now tell me..What were you saying..?What did you have to say to me..?]"Her eyes twinkled with mischief,as she puted her rosy and now swollen lips at him.

And Baldev's body reacted instantly,wanting to kiss her to oblivion once again.

He inhaled a harsh breath,trying to steady his breathing and heart rate and say her what she wanted to hear..

He looked down at her with all his feelings in his dark eyes..

"Veera..Pyaar karta hu main tujhse..Pagalo ki tarha..Shaadi karegi mainu..?

[Veera..I love you..Like crazy..Will you marry me..?]"His husky voice,hit her like thunder..He could see it in her blushing beautiful face..

Her eyes had widened,and her soft juicy lips had turned into that "O" of astonishment..

He chuckled softly..

Of course his Sherni had not expected that marriage proposal now..!

"Shaadi..?!"

Baldev pulled her closer..To let her feel what their shared kiss had done to his body.

She gasped out at the contact and turned tomato red.

Baldev moved his face closer to hers..His warm breath mixing with hers..

"Sirf pappiyan se to kaam nai chalegi na..?

[Only kisses won't do,right..?]"

She stared up at his with embarrassment,her wide eyes reflecting her confusion.

And then when he thought he would give her some time,she surprised him once again by nodding her head.

"Haan Baldeva..Karungi main tainu shaadi..

[Yes Baldeva..I will marry you..]"She replied softly.

Baldev felt his heart skip a beat at her reply.

"Baad mein palat nai jayegi to..?

[You won't change your decision later..?]"

"Nahi!Bilkul nai!Tu shayaad bhul gaya..Maine apni pyaar ki izhaar pure pind di saamne kia hai..Kiuki mainu tujhse vadda zyaada pyaar hai! I love you TRULY,MADLY,DEEPLY!

[No!Ofcourse not!Maybe you forgot..I proposed you infront of the whole village..Because I love u a lot!I love you TRULY,MADLY,DEEPLY!]"

Baldev did not get the last part of her sentence but he got what it implied.

So he groaned in satisfaction just before his lips captured hers in a searing hungry kiss again..

Of course in his mind he remembered her public declaration of her love..And that is why he wanted to marry her fast..So that the village people did not get the chance to belittle her or question her character in anyway..

And of course he loved her TRULY,MADLY,DEEPLY too!
