Part 1
Its night. Gayatri tells Ranaji i cant fire the gun. One mistake can ruin all. Ranaji asks Gayatri to trust him and their love. If they wish to see the face of the Maut ka farishta' they have to play this game. Gayatri reluctantly agrees. She says its late. Ranaji says yes but first wanted to give you something that i wanted to make Rageshwari a bandi and give it to you. Its said a wife is a key to her husband's trouble so wanted to give you something. But i want to give you a necklace with locket of LOCK and i will keep the key. After punishing Rageshwari, i will open the lock with the key. Ranaji says in English that... After this we will live happily ever after. Gayatri is confused. Ranaji says after tomorrow.. happiness forever for us. They make each other wear the necklace with the respective lockets. He gives the gun to Gayatri and walks off. Gayatri is worried.
RajMata recollects her desperation and begging Gayatri never to tell Ranaji the truth. Swarna comes to her and asks if she spoke to Gayatri. RajMata says not to worry. She is there to get her hubby back and she will get him back for sure. Swarna is too worried. RajMata says the path she has chosen is filled with thorns but one has to walk on those thorns.
Next day morning, Gayatri comes to the location, Ranaji told her too. She notices idol of Kali Maa & so keeps the gun on the side of the road and goes to pray to Kali Mata. She prays that the one who has only lifted scriptures till now is lifting a gun and that too to fire on my hubby but please don't let my hubby's blood be spilt. If any blood is spilt, let it be my blood. She returns to the spot where she kept the gun and lifts it up. Meanwhile, Ranaji brings Rageshwari to the cliff and signals Mangal (the servant to take position). He says this is Giriraj Shikhar, its said if you take your partners name here and it echoes back 7 times then they will be together for 7 births. Rageshwari is delighted and hugs Ranaji. Gayatri arrives there and Ranaji signals to her. She recollects their conversation and confidently steps ahead. She confronts them. Rageshwari is shocked. She points the gun at Rageshwari. She is scared and asks her to come to her senses and says Ranaji is mine. Gayatri says if he is not mine, then i will not let him be yours either. I will separate him from you. Ranaji steps forward and asks her not to do any such thing. He says she has to first shoot him to reach to Rageshwari. Gayatri is reluctant. Ranaji taunts her and says the one who stays quiet seeing her own husband become someone elses is of no value. Wheres the madness in your love, wheres the passion. Fire. Gayatri is in tears and her hand is shaking. Ranaji self thought, this is an important step for our future. Fire. Gayatri finally fires. Ranaji is shot in the head and he collapses. Gayatri watches shocked. Gayatri screams and so does Rageshwari.
RajMata comes in the Palace temple and notices that strong winds are blowing and the diya is struggling to stay alight. She is worried. She looks at the idol of Durga Maa and says a mothers mind is like a diya, it flickers with worry. Am confident that all will be well. Swarna asks her to call up and find out about Ranaji. She calls and finds out Ranaji is out with Rageshwari. Meanwhile, suddenly Bari Rani Maa comes there and hits Gayatri with a wooden rod. She touches the blood spilt from Gayatris head and says blood is a weird thing, when our own is spilt it pains us but when our enemy's blood is spilt it makes us happy.
Part 2
Bari Rani Maa remembers her curse on Ranaji that he will have to sacrifice his loved ones for the throne. She drags Gayatris body to the side of the cliff. Flashbacks of RaGa moments shown.
Part 3
Bari Rani Maa says coz of you i had to lead a life of a pauper. A queen may forgive not a tree who has been hit. Flashback shown of Bari Rani Maa strangling Mangal. Then she throws off Gayatri.
She says,
Ek Tha Raja, Ek Thi Rani
Dono mar chuke hain, aab khatam kahani.!
Precap -- Bari Rani Maa says Ranaji and Gayatri were ready to kill themselves to capture me so i decided to fulfill his last wish. Flashback shown of her exchanging the gun with real bullets.
