The episode starts with Rageshwari angrily walking into her room and shutting the door. She has flashbacks of what Gayatri had done with the milk and remembers how she had insulted her brother saying he's only good with words but can't do anything. She spots a dagger on the dressing table and picks it up. She slits her thigh with the dagger and says Gayatri isn't as innocent as her brother thinks. She says some jokes aren't funny and will finish the game which the people in the palace had started. She promises to avenge her brothers insult and steal the peace of Amerkot. She says that Gayatri's sindoor is what stops her from being her brother's wife therefore she will kill Rana ji and make sure Avdesh gets Gayatri. Avdesh is shown talking to the flame on a candle and says his love and himself have been turned into a joke. He gets angry and throws down the candle saying that Raj Mata and Gayatri aren't taking him seriously. He says they're playing with fire and fire shall also play with them. He promises to destroy the peace of Amerkot by finding out what Raj Mata is hiding and exposing her in front of everyone. Rana ji speaks to a servant and tells him the party they're hosting is for the new year so all guests should be comfortable. He instructs the servant to go and start preparations. Gayatri walks to him as soon as the servant leaves and asks him why he's holding the party when his mother doesn't want to celebrate. Rana ji tells her that the reason he's hosting the party is to find out why Raj Mata is willing to go against her son to support the outsiders. Gayatri has a flashback of how Raj Mata read the letter that was shot in by the arrow. Rana ji breaks her reverie by telling her it's not only about the party because Raj Mata has always been stubborn and never takes back her word whether she is right or wrong. He tells her the same thing happened when she tried getting them married and wouldn't budge no matter what he said to her. This shocks Gayatri and she walks away after telling him she never knew he thought their marriage is a mistake. Rana ji tries stopping her but she doesn't listen to him. Rageshwari sits in her room and stokes a cat while looking at a spider stored in a glass piece. She says people are scared of snakes for no reason whereas the spider is the real threat. As she strokes the glass piece holding the spider, she says the spider's venom is so deadly that it instantly kills anyone even if a drop touches the tongue. She holds a small bottle which contains the poison and says she'll give her brother the best gift by the end of the year by killing Rana ji. Later that night, Avdesh walks in the forest to the same spot where Raj Mata had met Sartaj. He is shocked to see no tents and only vases holding fire. He angrily kicks things around and says it can't be. Avdesh is shocked when someone holds a gun on his head. He slowly turns around and sees Sartaj who says he may have one eye but sees everything. He asks Avdesh what he's doing there and is shocked when Avdesh says he's there to find out Raj Mata's secret. Avdesh smirks and takes the gun from Sartaj's hand then empties out all the bullets except one. He tells Sartaj that they'll play a game and hands over the gun. He tells Sartaj for every trigger he pulls, he will be given money and if no bullet is fired from the shot, then he has to answer a question. Gayatri talks to a servant and instructs him to take away the leftovers. She is unaware of Rageshwari's presence there holding the cat. As soon as Gayatri picks up a tray with some prasad for Rana ji, Rageshwari lets go of the cat and the cat meows; startling Gayatri who nearly drops the tray. Rageshwari holds it and sprinkles some poison in the prasad then hands over the tray to Gayatri. Gayatri reminds her that she said she knows how to train and teach wild cats some manners. Rageshwari says she remembers and all she's there to do is tell her to mind her step because she's already losing balance even when Avdesh isn't around. Gayatri tells her not to worry because if she can cross any line and even get into the jaws of death to save her husband then she can cross any limits. She angers Rageshwari when she says she's still in her limits and that's why she hasn't done anything to her or her brother then walks off. Sartaj pulls the trigger and no bullet is fired. He tells Avdesh the secret is linked to a king who isn't a king. Avdesh gives him some money and places the gun on his forehead again. When Sartaj pulls the trigger, yet again, no bullet is fired. He tells Avdesh the king has everything including wealth, bravery and even strength. Avdesh gets impatient and puts the gun on his forehead again. Sartaj pulls the trigger and no bullet comes out. He says the king only lacks patience. Avdesh gets angry and puts all the money he has in Sartaj's hand and says he doesn't want to hear anymore riddles. He just wants to know what the secret is. Sartaj points to a letter tied on a branch and tells Avdesh the secret is hidden in that same letter.Rana ji invites some people over the phone as Gayatri walks in with the tray and places it on his table. Rageshwari watches them through the window. Rana ji picks up the spoon and brings it near his mouth after hanging up. He smiles at Gayatri but tries walking away. He holds her hand to stop her and she asks him if he wants anything. He nods yes and says he wants forgiveness. He tells her she misunderstood him and he didn't want to cause her any pain. Gayatri tells him he's causing her pain right now but isn't aware of it. Rana ji realizes he's still holding her hand and lets go. Gayatri walks out of the room after telling him to eat the prasad as they shouldn't insult the prasad or any food. Rana ji sits down and has the prasad while Rageshwari watches him from afar. Avdesh opens the letter and sees his name written inside. He angrily asks Sartaj what joke he's trying to play on him. Sartaj smiles and says if it was so easy to find out a secret then it wouldn't be called a secret. He hands over the money back to Avdesh and tells him everything around is for sale except Sartaj. Avdesh throws the money in a nearby fire and when he turns around, he sees Sartaj holding him at gunpoint again. He snatches the gun from Sartaj and points it on him instead. Sartaj laughs and tells Avdesh if he dies then the secret dies with him. He tells him to forget the secret as he's playing with fire and Avdesh says for those who constantly live in fire, then fire gradually becomes their toy. Sartaj walks away and Avdesh shoots in the air. He says he'll do anything and sacrifice anyone in order to find out Raj Mata's secret. He promises that Sartaj will willingly go to him and tell him what the secret is. Swarna is shown sitting in the lawn and making a house out of mud. She reminisces her moments with Lakhan. She remembers how he told her he was an animal before he met her but after spending time with her, he feels that he has changed. She gets happy when someone places their hand on her shoulder. She says she knew he would never leave her alone. The person is shown to be Laksh who gets angry when Swarna refers to him as Lakhan. He pulls his hand away causing Swarna to look up. She is shocked to find Laksh standing there who puts mud on her face and pushes her. He tells her he never knew she would stoop so low until she got dirt on her face. He holds her saree and tells her that along with her dignity and self respect, her saree also has stains. Swarna gets up from the group and puts mud all over his face, shocking him. She tells him he should have looked at his face which is full of dirt before pointing a finger at her. He angrily grabs her and tells her she's lost in the thoughts of a man who is a toy that was bought for her by Kunwar ji from the bazaar. Swarna loosens his grip on her arm and tells her he's the reason that Lakhan is her thoughts and heart because if he was close to her since they got married, then Lakhan would have never entered their lives. She tells him that their relation is as weak as the mud house but she can't break it so she has decided that she won't stay in his room anymore. She tells him that they'll be living with each other but will never be together. She walks off leaving him devastated. Rana ji tries going through some papers but is unable to see properly. He feels uneasy and tries getting up with the support of the chair but falls to the floor. Rageshwari gets happy and walks into him room. She takes the bowl thinking he's dead and congratulates her brother saying that Gayatri will be his and there will be no hindrances in between them. She walks out of the room but is stopped in her tracks when she hears Rana ji calling out for a servant. He tells the servant to bring him some black coffee because he has a headache. She drops the bowl in shock and walks over to Rana ji. She asks him if he's fine and he asks her how he can be fine with her and her brother in the palace. She tells Rana ji he doesn't look well and Rana ji tells him it's just a headache which will subside as soon as she walks out of the palace with her brother. Rageshwari tries talking to him but he tells her he doesn't want anything from her, even sympathy. Rana ji walks into his room leaving a confused and angry Rageshwari behind who is left wondering how Rana ji survived. She sees the servant bring back some black coffee and stops him. She tells the servant that Rana ji is being stubborn but he doesn't look well so they should call the doctor. The servant asks her not to worry because Rana ji doesn't pay any attention to these small pains. He tells her even poison can't affect Rana ji because he was given various poisons as he grew up in order to stop their effect on him. He then walks into Rana ji's room with the coffee. Rageshwari thinks Raj Mata has made sure that nothing harms Rana ji. She says that she will kill Rana ji after the party and she won't use any poison because she'll do the killing herself.
