Superb post!!
PKYEK was a show of ekta which is entirely different from her other daily soaps..
The only thing which I hate about EK is that she always turns a beautiful love story into a saas bahu drama or rona-dhona drama..i mean she is famous for butchering the characters, specially the male lead characters..
But PKYEK was a show where she utilised the potential of each and every actor..that's why,that serial is my favourite..
Anyways,coming to the point..
After PKYEK, i saw siddhant after 4 years,in etr2 promo..
I was excited to see the comeback of drashti and siddhant..
I was excited to see how a dangerous villain would portray the role of classy king..
When the serial went on air,i was very much satisfied with drashti's acting but siddhant did complete justice to his role..
There was something in him,which made him portray the role so well..he just nailed it..
I really dont have words to express how much i loved his acting..and I should say that he is one of the most versatile actor in indian television..but the way cvs are butchering his character..its really sad to see..
I hope cvs understand our demands..
I hope cvs give us plenty of romantic RaGa scenes(which will not happen,i am sure)

I think Ranaji's characterisation has fallen prey to the fast-paced story-telling which has been peculiar to the show. While, the pace has a lot of advantages, some aspects end up paying the price.
It's a pity that it had to be the one who makes up half the story.

There was no need to introduce a new villain at this stage. RaGa's relationship could have been explored more deeply and their closeness established first. The fact that Ranaji's suspicions about his uncle has taken a back seat is irritating. I know the actress playing Swarna is probably on leave at the moment but some curiosity about the strange guy hanging around or even Yashodha's death could have been the focus.

It looks as if the writers are on Speed or something. Hence the speed with which Ranaji's judgement has gone for a six. I feel for the character and the actor. Hope they come back on track soon. I don't think they'd want to lose an actor as good as Siddhant.

@bold

I sincerely hope he is not taken for granted...atm, he is carrying on because the money is good...but there may come a point when it simply won't be enough...hopefully it won't come to that..!
