BRM has always believed blood relations are more important. She contrived so much to get power for herself and her bloodline.
And today what a shame it was. RNJ had stood by BRM even when his mother and wife accused her and her own son in one stroke he disowned her , the moment he knew she no longer can give him power.
And the man who had always stood by her, still was asking why did she do it, what wrong did Sula and Gayatri do to her. And if she had asked him, he would have given her the throne happily.
Still the thirst of power has not gone into the lady's head. She is holding the past injustice done to her on to RNJ, RM and Gayatri.
Yes what happened to BRM was a tragedy. But is it right to punish the people unrelated with it correct. What will she gain. For that matter what did Shakuni gain in the end. He wanted to destroy the power of Hastinapur. Yes he destroyed Hastinapur, but along with that he destroyed his sister's happiness also. Her 100 sons were killed in the war. A war the cornerstone of which was laid by Shakuni in the infamous hall of dice. He chased power, but he didn't get the power, instead lost it all.
Don't know when people will understand when they decide to harm others, their own blood will get affected one way or the other. Injustice was done by king and RNJ's dadi to BRM. They lived their life the way they wanted , but young RNJ is paying the price.
It is also a message to us adults. Be compassionate, don't use others and live life willfully. Because your crimes will be paid by your own blood one way or the other.
