Chapter 7
The lady asks rahul if he uld like to come with her, he shook his head. He turn to leave, but the lady stops him, asking if he was lost. Rahul nod, she told him to come with him so they can find his parent. He hesitate at first, before remembering what his Mom said about strangers. He bit his lip before looking at the lady, he told her that his mom said even an elder can be a bad person. He says " I'm sorry, dad I, but I can't go with you"
The lady was surprise and impress at how smart Rahul is, she was even more surprise at his speech. She smiles before patting his head " who told you this beta?"
" mam"
" your mom must be a smart girl, are you with her?"
Rahul sadly shook his head. " I see, how about we look for your dad... hmm" she says, Rahul shook his head saying no, the lady gave up. She was bout tobsay something when raghav showed up. He stops in front of Rahul breathing hard. He glares at him before scolding him. He told Rahul how dangerous it is wondering around, he says he could have been kidnapped or used against him.
Rahul look down, holding his clothes. He looked about ready to cry. " Raghav?! " the lady says, Raghav turn surprise to see the lady.
In the past
Raghav couldn't believe what was happening. He saw kalpi trying to grab the kids, but they ran around throwing things. Raghav walk to her and stop saying when she asked him to see her, he wasn't expecting this. Kalpi confuse asks what was he expecting. Raghav staid quiet, Kalpi look at one of the boys putting paint on a little girl hair, she calls his name, and repend. Him for doing that.
While she was busy, she didn't notice three of the kids with rope running around them, tying their foot with a rubber band. Raghav move seeing a little girl sneeze. When he move, he slip and Kalpi fell with him. Falling on top of him, she look up and they had an eye lock. One of the kids asks if they we're OK, Kalpi blush and quickly got up. But she forgot her foot was still tied to Raghav, so she fell once more on him. frustrated, he told her he will remove the rope. He bends down while she was sitting, and loosen the rope, Kalpi couldn't help smiling.
She says in her head, Raghav so nice. When he finished, he quickly got up and glare at the kids laughing. kalpi told him she will be right back, she has to run to the supply room.while she was gone, some kids started asking raghav questions, he ignore them but they kept asking. A little girl told him she has to pee, but he told her to go herself. The boy with the rope told raghav he was mean, and raghav told him, he is a clown.
The boy got so mad that he kicked raghav, making him hold his knee. One boy while playing with the paint, accidently touch him with his hand. Raghav turned red, see he was not having a good time, he was mad he had to watch and be around kids. Not only that, he couldn't make a move on Kalpi. He was so angry that he yelled at the little girl, who wanted to use the bathroom. He said some very mean things, upsetting Kalpi.
" Raghav!!" She says walking to the crying child. She glares at him, and told him, she didn't expect him to be so mean to children.she says if this is how he is then she wants nothing to do with him.
Raghav Tries to explain himself, but Kalpi refuse to listen. She asks him to leave, she doesn't want to see him. He tried calling her, but she refuse to hear it. Frustrated he left, he didn't notice Kalpi sadly watching him. The child with the rope, feeling guilty apologize to Kalpi. He told her what happens and says he did mean to upset him. The boy with the paint also apologize, kalpi sigh and told them it was OK.
Elsewhere, Raghav angry, remove his tie. Sammy asks him what happens, and he narrate everything. Sid says he has to make up with Kalpi. Raghav says she's so different, " she didn't even try to listen to me" he says frustrated
Sammy reading, puts his book down. " why don't you apologize "
" why should I, she should be the one to "
" but you know, we don't have that much time, on this trip. So you better suck it up" Sid says
" you can apologize to her tonight, she's performing on the deck" Sammy says
Sid curious asks how he knows this. Sammy shows them the flyer. Sid reads it out loud, Raghav told them it's pointless because he will not apologize. The two friend shook their head " his so hard headed" they say
It was later at night, when the is was chill. Many people sat down waiting for the performance to start. Raghav bored was leaning at the back, watching the sea. Tunisha says " thanks for coming, babe. I didnt want to be alone tonight, after my performance"
" anything for you" he says
She let go of him and went to the stage to perform. Raghav watch for a few minute before he became bored. He turn to search for his friends, when he spotted kalpi. he was surprise to see her wearing a saree like that
, but in white. Her hair was up in a pony tail, leaving a few strand loose. He could tell she was nervous, he watch as she played with her hands unconsiously, before looking at him. When her big round eyes met his, Raghav was sure these we're one of the occasion fate like to mess with his heart. because it was beating, out of control. " I'm sorry" they both said
" what?" They said together
Kalpi held up her hand to speak " I should have let you explain, before accusing you. The kids are also sorry for causing you trouble " she says flusterd
Raghav surprise says " I should have controll My temper better, so I'm sorry"
They both look at one another smiling. Raghav told her she looks beautiful tonight, and she thank him. He says he didn't like when she got mad at him, he felt bad. He says he really likes her and hope, she can forgive him. " you like me?" She asks hopeing. She knew her dad told her to stay away from him, but she can't help it.
" yes a lot" he says confuse himself
Kalpi happy says she likes him too. When she said this, she shyly Looks away, to embarrassed to look at him. when they call her name, she took the opportunity to run, leaving Raghav to think. Sid heard the whole thing, he puts an arm around Raghav and says " smooth men. You actually made her think you like her"
Raghav didn't say anything " now you got her where you want her. It shouldn't be hard to sleep with her " he says
Raghav hearing this remembered his bet, he snapped out of what ever he was doing agreeing with Sid. He's right, i don't fall in love, I guess being around her is starting to change me. I need to end this soon, He thought. He look at Kalpi performing tum hi ho on the piano, before saying " she doesn't know, what she's getting herself into" he says smirking cockily
