Chapter 3:
Kalpana was about to step inside, when she heard loud female voice, "Stop!" and she looked up to meet eyes of Kamla, Raghav's mom, who stood there sternly. She smiled at her, and said, "Let me take arti of you." Kalpana smiled at her sweet gesture as she bowed low to get her blessings. Meanwhile pair eyes, just watched the scene from far, till Kalpana's eyes met her. Gauri smiled seeing her, Kalpana smiled back, and moved in her direction, soon enough Gauri too took steps towards her own daughter. She wanted to just hug her darling daughter, whom she had immensely missed after kicking her out, for her own selfish motives, and when things backfired on her. As Kalpana approached closer, her eyes began watering and smile appeared on her face, however that smile then faded as Kalpana crossed passed her towards one frame hung behind gauri in her room, "I still miss you baba!" Kalpana said with smile, "I am glad I have my family in form of you, vitthal uncle, kamla aunty, seema di, jeeju, who loves me so much and would understand me always!" she complained, while Gauri looked down inembarrassment, exactly knowing what she meant.
On the other hand, Raghav couldn't just take off his eyes, on seeing this confident woman, who just returned to his house, their house. Raghav smiled and thought, "I will make up now with her and get my friendship back!" Meanwhile Kalpana saw Vitthal, and bowed down to take his blessings, and on being asked she informed everyone, "She is here only for 5 weeks, as she has her own school now, and she cannot stay away from it for long!" Kamla grin, "Beta, abhi bhi tu school mein kyun jaati ho?" Kalpana laughed out, "Arrey aunty, I mean I am working in school and I have responsibility of managing it!" Gauri smiled at the thought Kalpana has indeed grown out in her independent niche, yet she had strong urge to speak to her. On the other hand, Raghav's face dropped on realizing she will be leaving within 5 weeks. That's just a month and half, after being away for year!
Ignoring Raghav who was standing right there, as if he didn't exist, she moved past him and entered the room where Seema dragged her. Kalpana felt soo good to be back in the room, where she has been since childhood. But certain bitter memories she has been ignoring ever since her eyes fell on smiling Gauri, and Raghav were still pinching her heart, "Would I be too rude to them? Am I hurting them? Am I the one who is taking..." her thoughts flooded with certain amount of guilt, but at the same time forgetting things which hadoccurred an year back, couldn't be forgotten. With this in her mind, her eyes fell on beautiful box, which made her smile. She quickly went towards it to open the box. She opened it up to find beautiful long lehenga, and smile curved on her lips, as she removed it from box and went towards mirror to see how it would look on her. Super happy with it, she decides to wear the same in sangeet, "Gosh... Di Loves me soo much, and I am glad I came here for her... She still knows things that will suite me, afterall, am sure she also knew I wouldn't carry such dresses, hence kept it aside for me!" She said to herself, as she picked up invites and program list. Her thoughts of chain were broken with knock on the door, and she happily headed to door to open it thinking it must be her di. But no later she stood rooted, on seeing Gauri, standing with her favorite juice in her hand, "I am not thirsty!" she said turning back, "Beta, are you still upset with me?" Gauri asked in cracked voice, "I don't maa, but I want to be alone for now... can you please leave me alone?" she requested. Gauri still placed her hand on Kalpana's shoulder who was facing other side, "Beta, I did realize, my mistake and know Raghav isn't suitable..." before she can complete her sentence, Kalpana hushed her hand, "Please! I want to be alone..." she said little loudly this time, and hearing her phone ring, she went to it to pick it, and headed outside, only to be bumped into Raghav and dropped her phone, Raghav bends down to pick it up from floor, still ringing with word "Jaaneman" flashing on it. She quickly took it and passed Raghav, "Yes, baby, I have reached safely!" she said laughing as her voice fadded, only part of word, Raghav can actually remember was "Jaan" as much he saw it, before it was snatched away and she again happily ignored him. Then his eyes fell on her lehenga which was out from box and lying on bed. He was relived, atleast she liked it, and hopped she would wear in evening function. He decides to talk to Kalpana and follows her root, to find his mom, "Beta, woh..." but her words are cut, "Oh please mom, bass kijiye, yeh karo woh karo, cut it out..." (ohh Mom stop with this, do this and do that...)he said irritated and shouting at Kamla and tried following Kalpana.
As Kalpana cuts the call smiling after speaking to Parth, she comes across hero of the wedding, urf Samar, who is smiling at her, "Chup chup ke kisse baatein?" (whom where you talking secretly to?) he asked, making her smile wider, "Nothing jeejs, you tell me, ..." she missed seeing Raghav, who came from other side, but she saw Seema coming, "Aapne iss kaam chor behen mein meri dekha kya ki shaadi ke liye taayar ho gaye?" (What did you find in my useless sister to marry her...) she asked loud enough making sure, Seema hears it and stops, waiting to see what reply Sammy would give. Sammy is about to say something but sees Kalpana hinting him to other side, and sammy gets it, "Kuch khaas nai, basss aur koi dhang ki milti nai na, teri behen ko bewakoof banana aasan hai..." (Nothing much, I didn't find anyone like her, its very simple to fool her) he laughs, and Seems makes huge O shaped mouth, Kalpana gets little serious hearing that, even on knowing he is just joking, and Seems comes and beats him little and also pinches Kalpana, for making fun of her and that she knows it, "See I made her one now..." Kalpana smiled slightly, "I am glad that this is just a sober way of pranking unlike the time when even I was fooled!" Seema and Sammy gets serious at her words, and Raghav feels weird. As Kalpana walks away she again faces, Raghav, "Kalpana I want to talk to you...!" he demands, but Kalpana just looks at him, while Seema and Sammy turns back on hearing Raghav. Seema is about to go and stop him, but Sammy gets hold of his hands, and nods in no, "Let he deal," he whispers and smiles. Kalpana just passes Raghav, without giving him a single glance back, while Raghav just looks on. He starts following her in the direction, and Seema just looks at Sammy and nods indicating that she understands, to let things flow as they do!
Raghav finally gets hold of her hands, "I said, I just want to speak to you... Look I am so..." he had begun, but "Leave my hand!" came the request from woman whose hand he was holding. Raghav looked at her as she looked in other direction and pulled her, making her face him and held her from upper arm, "not before you listen to me!" he demanded. "I just wanted to tell you.. that I had really missed you Kalpi... we had been together sin..."
Kalpi: "It's Kalpana for you Mr. Singhaniya!" she said sternly. Raghav looked at her with mixture of shock and disappointment, "But Kalpi..." still hearing her name as "Kalpi" from him, made Kalpana red with anger and she screamed, "Leave my HAND! or else don't blame me for whatever happens next!" she said warning him, still seeing no effect on raghav she stepped on his foot with all her strength, "Ooouuchhh!!" he shouted as he left her, and Kalpana ran away to her room, and closing her door behind. She leans against the door, and tears roll down her eyes, as she sits down crying, "I hate you Raghav, I hate you more than anyone else...!!! But I will never let you win by seeing me cry and break down.. My love for you has now taken back seat, I will never let it resurface Raghav Singhaniya...!" she said aloud to no one in specific.
Precap: Sangeet .. Kalpana in pink lehenga glaring Angrily at Raghav and seema standing there confused, and she dashes inside her room.
