It's in Evening time, Sangeet function is going on in full swing. It's festive mood around where everyone is happy. Gauri is drapped in her designer saree, looking at Seema who is happily around with her friends. Raghav too comes out wearing black Kurta and is stunned by seeing a sight which he has been waiting to see, he just wanted to see "HER" once, Kalpana was almost down the stairs wearing same lehenga which he had gifted her in her room and he didn't regret his choice. She was looking so beautiful. His heart pounded faster at her sight. While she looked everywhere but in direction she knew her sight would meet "HIM".
Kalpana went towards Seema, who was next to Sammy, on the main couch. Gauri came towards them, under pretext of blessing Seema, and with an intension of having a glance at her other beautiful daughter, who hasn't spoken to her since her arrival. Kalpana didn't see directly in her eyes, but knew she was looking at her. On the other hand Raghav was pulled out of trance, on hearing his name by one of his old friend, who joined him for a chat. Before Raghav could excuse himself, and turn back to his staring session towards Kalpana, he was surprised to find her where was. She looked around trying to pretty young woman in the crowd. Soon enough he could see her upstairs near her room. "This is perfect time. I need to talk to her," thought Raghav and made his way towards stairs and began climbing it. It was during this time, when Seema heard a ringing phone, which apparently belonged to Kalpana . She looked up realizing she has gone to her room. However looking at phone she wondered who could be this "Jaaneman"? name that flashed phone. "Does she Have someone in her life? Who? Why didn't she tell me?" she got up excusing herself with hundreds of questions, to fire for Kalpana and headed towards her room upstairs.
Kalpana finally found the gift she was looking for, which had bought for Seema, and headed back outside the room to almost bump into someone and fall, but was held back, she thanked person, before looking up, but her words stopped on seeing HIS face. She looked at him, and tried moving away but he blocked her way, "You are looking really beautiful in this lehenga," he complimented. Kalpana rolled her eyes, "Ho gaya?" (Are you done?) she questioned as she once again tried changing her route, "Not yet!" replied Raghav once again blocking her way... "Actually, pink colour..." he had just begun, "Look mr singhania, I am not interested in your compliments and don't you dare try to flirt with me!" Kalpana warned Raghav glaring at him angrily, "Then why do you have to look so beautiful that to wearing this lehenga?" Raghav questioned moving closer to her, she looked at him, as she tried to move back only to realize there is wall behind, "That is because this is special!" she said keeping her emotions at check, and trying to breathe as normally as she can as continued talking, "this is gift by my sister to me!" she confirmed. Raghav was taken aback, and stepped back, while Seema was right behind in side view of Raghav & Kalpana was surprised to hear her, "Kalpi," she called out gaining their attention, as Kalpana heaved a sigh of relief, "which gift are you talking about?" she asked. "Dii, this lehenga, which you gave me... that I am wearing," she said holding her skirt and and stretching it. Seema looked on, "It looks very beautiful, and it suits you, but..." she paused, looked at Raghav who was smiling amused, and she again looked at Kalpana, "I am sorry, yeh maine nai laya hai," (I am sorry, I haven't brought this!) she confirmed. Shock was understatement for Kalpana, as she stood there with open mouth, and then looked at Raghav who was smiling victoriously, while her shock soon turned to anger and she stared back at Raghav, this time with complete annoyance as she turned back and dashed into her room and before anyone can react, "THAAD" she slammed the door on face of two who were standing right outside. Seema stood their confused, that's when Kalpana's phone began to ring again, flashing same name, and she hid it, as she started knocking door of Kalpana's room, "Kalpi, you have someone calling you," she said, knocking it with her hands, "Please open the door, this is second time, person is calling!" she requested, making Raghav wonder who could it be? On hearing no response, Seema continued knocking and the door was opened after few minutes, to find Kalpana wearing jeans and top, like those worn in party. Raghav stood there confused and shocked at her changing it, as she came out, "Sorry dii, I do not have any traditional wear, you will have to tolerate this for this ceremony, I will arrange some clothes from next time!" she told Seema. "But Kalpi, that lehenga, was good, and I..." began Raghav, but Kalpana looked at him, "First it's Kalpana, and second, oops, that thing... it is torn...!" replied Kalpana sarcastically, as she headed in making Raghav and Seema follow in. She picked up that expensive piece of cloth and opened drawers. She came back in few seconds, and held cloth up in front of Raghav's eye level, and kept a scissor on net part of lehenga, and cut it out, soon, when it was cut, she began ripping the cloth with her anger, using all her strength, as tears began to form in her eyes, yet remained confident in front of him, as he stood there rooted in shock on seeing Kalpana literally ripping off the gift. Hurt visible on his face, which Kalpana enjoyed seeing, but Seema intervened when finally cloth was completely destroyed, calming Kalpi, by making her sit on the bed. Tears rolled down her eyes finally, recalling somethings of the past of how Raghav made her feel special and she enjoyed his attention and compliments once upon a time,
Flashback 1:
Kalpana left her room wearing her favorite pink suite, "Wow! Someone is looking good!" she heard someone say in passage. She turned to find Raghav looking at her, and she turned red, on hearing it..."
FLashback 1 ends.
Flashback 2:
"Here I bought you these shoes, maybe you can wear them on our engagement!" Raghav said, placing shoes in near her feet. His gesture had indeed melted her heart, for being a gentleman, "Raghav, these seems to be perfect for event!" she said. "That's not enough, I need a hug!" Raghav demanded. Kalpana blushed at his words and hugged him.

Flashback 3:
Kalpana had worn sleevless one piece, black in colour which was upto her knees. She thought to visit, Raghav's office with lunch, as she had taken off from her studies. As she reached there, she saw his secretary coming out, and she did have first 3 buttons open. She did find it odd, but her trust in Raghav, didn't let her doubt Raghav and her. She opened the door, to find Raghav smiling looking into the files apparently for no reason. She knocked on open door to gain his attention and he looked up to find Kalpana with something in her hand. Raghav was surprised to see her, while Kalpana waited for him to say something, "What brings you here Kalpi?" he asked. Kalpana raised the her hand to reveal tiffin, "Nothing Raghav, I just got you tiffin," she said, coming inside, and sitting across Raghav. Raghav smiled at her, while she still tried fixing herself, and waited for his compliments. When Raghav still didn't say anything, she took up courage to ask it out herself, "How am I looking Raghav?" Raghav who was engrossed in file and food, and looked at her in surprise, "Gorgeous, as always!" he said winking, making Kalpana smile and she was satisfied enough
Flashback 3 ends.
Raghav too was recalling those moments, and hurt visible on his face, for Kalpana isn't being the same person, who always appreciated his gifts, and nor did react the way he used to make her smile with his words. Nothing seemed to work in his favour, and he turned back and left. Once out from the room, he stood there near wall and banged his hand in frustration. He expected things to just go smoothly, but she isn't the same person anymore he complained. In frustration, he picked some keys and headed outside the house/ function.
Once she was cooled, Kalpana looked at the "Gift" given to her by Raghav, which was nothing more than a crap at sight now. Kalpi placed her hand on her head to reduce the headache she was feeling afterall that happen, and Seema kept assuring hand on her shoulder. That's when her phone rang again bringing them out of their moment, and Kalpana reached to pick it up, she smiled, "I am fine baby, don't worry!" she said, trying to control her emotions to make sure Parth wouldn't feel worried, "Are you sure?" asked Parth on other hand, not feeling her words to be true. "Yes, I am ... And now after speaking to you, little of tension as swoon away!" she assured and smiled formed on her face, to hear that concern she craved for from him. Parth informed her that he will land on "D-Day!" that's wedding day of Seema and Samar, and meet her. On hearing this, Kalpana's smile grew wider, and her anger was cooled to greatest extent to know about his arrival. Seema observed her from far, and was on thinking mode. "She wouldn't have talked so casucally in front of me, had it been someone serious, but whoever it is, he/she is indeed so close to her!" she thought. Once Kalpana hanged down the phone, she was met with questioning eyes of Seema. "Who is this Jaaneman?" asked Seema. Kalpana just smiled, "Uffo Di, that's Parth!" she said. Seema looked on, "Are you sure? It was just Parth?" she asked. "Of course di, here call him and confirm!" she said. "No No..! Ok.." she said, "I get it..." she came towards her and kept her hand on her shoulder. Kalpana awaiting some support, hugged her sis, "I really never had anyone's support like Parth's di.. he has been by me... and that's what is so special about him!" she said closing her eyes. Seema stroked her head, "I am sorry Kalpi, for not being by you, .. But trust me when I came to know... I tried every way to speak to you, to hear you!" she said breaking hug and looking at Kalpana with guilt. "No di, I know Parth told me many times, it was somewhere me as well, who wasn't confident about myself... Sorry di for avoiding you like..." before she can say further, Seema placed her hand on her mouth, "no need Kalpi.." and both of them hugged, "I am just grateful for Parth supported me like this, along with his sister and Ramu jiju!" said Kalpi still hugging her. Seema smiled, something did strike her mind, but didn't wish to think over it for now.
Both of them headed downstairs, to enjoy the function. Kalpana was bit free now, for Raghav wasn't around. People around Kalpana looked at her making faces making her uncomfortable, "Ignore Kalpi... You look great even in western. No rule book says, in such functions you need to wear heavy traditional wear!" whispered Sammy, making Kalpana smile. Kalpana began enjoying and dancing in Sangeet, like anybody else and showing off her western side of hers!
Precap: Kalpana is near window, trying to close it for it starts stormy outside. She sees Raghav drenching in rain, and at the same time he turns around and their eyes meet.
