"KALPI!!", Maya yelled ,apparently from the hallway.. Arrgghh..this girl, god knows why she loves that stupid job so much.. She wakes up early herself and then at 6 when the shop isn't even open she drags me there..
"Maya let me sleep.. Please", I murmured before pulling the blanket on my head.. "Sleepy head get up fast.. ", she called out of me to again so I covered my ear with a pillow just before I heard her say coming in my room," Its your Romeo's coronation day remember..??".. I grinned beneath the blanket.."Raghav's coronation day!!! ", I said rather squealed and got up immediately..

I gritted my teeth and turned away so that father won't see the anger burning in my eyes, it was inappropriate for a king to be disrespectful towards the priests especially the high priest but I could feel no respect for him from that day when he..
"Raghav??", father called out to me again... "I'll go talk to him few minutes later.. I have just one important work before that", I said and went to pick up the rug placed in a corner and seeing that he said," Don't go to meet her..".. I stopped and said," I won't meet her.. I promise..", and picking up the rug I jumped out of the window to go to Kalpi.. I won't meet her father but I didn't say that I won't see her.. Smiling I made my way to her gift shop..
||||||"Kalpana.. Not like this..", Maya said and showed me how to put the gifts in the machine so that we get it properly wrapped and I just had to attach small gift cards to them..
Maya was arranging the gifts on a big platter and Samar bhaiyya was keeping them on the hand-cart which was to be carried to the palace..
"And the last gift.. Hope you like it..", I thought before signing the card," Mehina..". I blew air on the card so the ink could dry and just when I kept it down, I heard something fall in the workshop behind the main shop area..
||||||"Oh damn", I said in almost a whisper.. While trying to climb in through the window I by mistake hit something creating loud noise.. I was looking around for a place to hide when I heard the door open.. Quickly I hid behind a cardboard hoarding..
"Who's there??", I heard her voice slightly shaky.. "Still scared of pixies..", I thought smiling and tried to peak to see her pretty face so that I could go back to palace quickly for the ceremony..
||||||I hate the workshop area.. Always filled with those creepy small pixies.. I looked around to check if no one had entered.. We had some packed gifts kept here and the kids of the town were very mischievous and i felt wind blowing in.. Looking around I saw the open window, "Why was the window open??", I thought..
||||||Slowly walking hiding behind the hoarding I moved towards the open window and just then felt someone hold my hand, I was caught..
||||||"Going somewhere?? Adolfus", I said teasingly knowing very well how much he hates that name.. " Kalpi..", he whined making me smile even more.."You know I don't like that name you call me with..".. "But I love it.. And besides only I call you by that name.. Its like..".."I am yours..", he completed my sentence.. "Yes", I nodded and moved in his embrace..
||||||After what felt like eternity we broke the hug, pecking her on her forehead I said," Father would be waiting for me..", she nodded in understanding and I left.. But just before I went out I said," Tell your sister tomorrow I'm coming..."

||||||After he went I closed the window and sat there in the dimly lit room, the fear of pixies forgotten rather replaced.. What if it comes true?? What if I.. We..? The sentences remained unfinished as I hugged my legs closer to my chest thinking about it.. The prophecy..
||||||Huffing I reached finally.. Kalpi's shop was just outside the palace yet, to be here I had to run back and now I stood before the intricately design glass door.. As much as I hated this, I knew I had no other option but to visit him so I knocked and a moment alter the door opened..
"Come in, son", the high priest called me in.
I entered and the two priests who had opened the door left after closing it..
After five years I was here, again.. And just like all those years back, he had no answers then and he has no answers now.. All he knows is the harsh truth which will be proven false after today..
"I see your belief has grown stronger, Adolfus.."
"Don't call me that", I growled back at him almost forgetting all etiquettes in thag moment but immediately gaining my composure I said," Apologies"..
He flinched a bit but stayed put in front of the glass idol..
"Its ok.. See this??", he pointed at the glass idol.. "Your father must have told you.. She's"..
"Svava..", I completed his sentence.. Before he could say anything more I continued," I know who she is and everything else"..
"Then why do you not accept it??", he said in an accusatory tone.. "Because it isn't true.. It won't happen.. I know..", I looked down and said," She knows too"..
Whilst I kept looking down I could here his stomping feet approaching me when he held my shoulder harshly," You told her..??".. "Long back..", I replied..
Shocked he moved a few steps behind," Sh.. She remembered??".. "No", I replied pointedly.. "We're not the ones..", and bowing down in respect I left the chambers.. All the way thinking about what had happened...
Five years ago
"No.. No.. !! You.. You need to save her.. She can't die.. She promised", I begged before him with my mehina's body in my arms..
Her golden brown skin slowly started turning white and placing her on the ground I ran to the high priest.. Holding his legs I begged," Save her.. Please do something.. You knew it would happen.. Save her..", and he just kept nodding his head in a no.. I looked up at him while his gaze focused behind me where she laid on the ground..
I turned to see but now she was no where just white flakes of snow flew towards the sky.. "No!!", I cried out loud.. "No.. Mehina you can't do this to me.. You promised..", the flakes flew near me and took form of her..
"Remember the story of the moon.. How she once had a lover, they would always be together and their love was envied by others..
So once a trickster, tricked moon's lover to bring flowers from other world for the moon.. Not knowing that once left you can never return, moon's lover went away..
He could not come back to the spirit world, so moon used her power to help her lover get a boon.. Her lover's boon was he would come back to her but in another form, form of a wolf..
Mehina means moon, Adolfus is wolf..
Once gone I cannot return but my love, I will.. I will come back in another form.. I'll come back for you Adolfus"
And she was gone..
"I told you this would happen.. Its..", the priest said but..
"No!!", I shouted back..
My feet weren't strong enough to support me yet I got up and stared at him," She promised she'll be back and when she is I'll never let her go again..", and I turned to walk away but he said
" And she'll be taken away again..", I stopped whilst he continued," This is how it is Raghav.. You think of her as your elixir but she's the poison.. Don't forget the prophecy my son"
And those words still ring in my ear..
"Before the young prince becomes a king, Suava will return to complete the duty she left unfulfilled and the once considered elixir will prove to be poison"
Who's suava ??? Etc. etc. All questions answered in next parts..
It might be confusing but it'll all get clear soon..
