Part 2
"Sorry hunny I won't be able to pick you up from wherever you are, actually I fell from the stairs while I was coming down and got hurt." Hearing this over the phone from his wife Ria, Raghav got tensed. Then he decided to leave for Mumbai alone. Raghav longed to be with his wife and make sure she was okay.
Before leaving for Mumbai, Raghav thanked Kalpana for everything she has done for him especially since he was a stranger. He promised himself to return her more than she had given him. As he proceeded to leave, Kalpana told him to take good care of himself and he left.
Singhania Mansion
As Raghav reached home, he rushed in, to enter into the bedroom expecting Ria on the bed resting, but she wasn't there! Then he thought she might have gone to see doctor as she wasn't well. He was pacing here and there worried until Ria entered into the house 2 hours later. Seeing her Raghav rushed to her relieved "How are you my love," he said hugging her tight. "You were supposed to come tomorrow," Ria said hugging him back "I couldn't resist myself to be with you while you were not well". "Hunny where did you go, did you go to see doc..."he couldn't complete his sentence as something shot his mind. He let go and saw the outfit Ria was wearing and Ria realized what he was thinking. "Oh hunny, I had to go for a photo shoot which was pending for too many days because you were missing, I Just couldn't say no," saying this handled the situation perfectly.
Raghav slowly guided her to the couch and started checking her leg and massaging it. "Do you feel okay? Where does it hurt? Do you want me to take you to the doctor?" He said feeling really worried. "I'm fine," Ria replied. "No I really think you should go to the doctor, here let me take you." He said. "No it's just a little bruise. It will get better within a few days." Ria quickly added. Raghav was expecting Ria to ask him if he was fine or who took care of him but she didn't utter a word, but he let it go like he always does.
On the other hand, in the village, the owner of the land declared that they will demolish the mill where many people (including kalpi) work, in three days. She was worried about her survival; she spent most of her savings on Raghav's treatment so she didn't have enough money to meet her needs. So she had no choice but to get a job. She decided to go to Mumbai for a job because she heard you can find a job anywhere there. So she headed for Mumbai...
Singhania Constructions
As time passed Raghav started to go back to his office and take care of his business. Meanwhile, he was working in his cabin when he got a phone call from his wife. He pushed all his files to the side and picked up the phone call which was WAY more important than his work for him. "Yes dear, anything wrong, were you missing me," Raghav said. "Actually, the reason I called you is to let you know that I am going to Australia for 2 weeks for a modeling assignment so I am leaving 2 days later." "OH! That's a good idea! I mean we haven't had a vacation in a while so why not! Let's start packing we have lots to do! We will even see the beautiful sights there together!" Raghav exclaimed. "Wait... wait a minute... are you planning to come with me???" Ria said shocked. "I... I... I mean... I won't be able to give you any time so I can't bear to see you alone or bored and anyway you have to make up for the days you were away from work. You finish your work and I'll do mine and after that we'll go for vacation, okay?" "Sorry darling, but I won't be able to stay away from you any longer." Raghav said pleading. But somehow Raghav had to agree with her as always.
Singhania Mansion
At night Raghav brought up the same topic he would always talk about. "When you will finish your assignment can we start planning for a baby?" Raghav asked. "I don't know how many times I have to tell you that I am not ready yet." "Look you have to understand, I don't want to ruin my career. So please no more arguments regarding this topic." She said. Raghav left the room without saying a word.
XYZ Orphanage
Raghav visited the orphanage like he does every week. He would always play around and spend some time with the kids. He was sitting on a bench and was watching the kids play. While the kids were playing football the ball rolled over to him. He picked up the ball and a 5 year old child came running over to him. Raghav looked at the boy and thought; if Ria wouldn't abort her child then my son would have been as old as him. A tear fell from his eyes.
Raghav remembered he had to go and meet Kalpana in the Village.
The next morning he left for the Village without wasting a second.
Once he reached village he found Kalpi's house and started to knock, but before his hand even reached the door he spotted a lock. He thought she might be at work so he went to meet her at her work place. He went there and saw there was nothing. He asked the villagers about Kalpi and the Mill and what they said was, "The mill where Kalpi used to work got demolished and to find a new job Kalpi left for Mumbai..."
