Wonderful start. Loved how you've set the stage and the depiction of Kalpi. Already I've formed an emotional connect with the character. Kamla - that wretch..talk about child labor or more like slavery! I know it's a bumpy road ahead for Kalpi and more emotional setbacks for the lil girl, curious to see how she handles it. Her thoughts of how a mother ought to be..tugged at my heart. Loved how you showed the interaction between Raghav and Kalpi. The pen is mighter after all.. Please continue soon and thanks for the PM.
