Chapter 9

They enter the restaurant and kalpi smiling face turns into frowns as it was all full... Not a single table which was empty...

kalpi pouts and looks at raghav and says...

K: raghav no place... now we have to go to some other restaurant...

raghav looks at her and says...

R: We will have our dinner here kalpi...

K: But raghav...

R: Sshhh come with me...

K: Where...

R: come na...

He then drags her with him towards the stairs and walks upstairs to the terrace...

K: raghav where are we going... Jitna I know they don't have any place for dinning on the terrace...

But raghav didn't say anything and continue walking... They reached the terrace and he says...

R: open the door kalpi...

kalpi follows his instruction and opens the door and a wide smile spread on her lips...

She looks around and can see the whole terrace decorated with fairy lights... Floor of the terrace was covered with rose petals... In the middle of the terrace their was the dinner table with two chairs... Three waiters were standing beside the table... kalpi looks at raghav who was looking at her face trying to find out her reaction...

K: raghav wow its so beautiful... You arranged this...

raghav smiles and says..

R: No but I made people do this...

Kalpi hits him playfully on the chest and says...

K: raghav... But its beautiful...

R: You liked it...

K: a lot...

R: Let's go inside...

He then ask kalpi to remove her sandals... She did the same and they enters the terrace... kalpi felt the softness of petals under her feet... They then walks towards the table and raghav pulls the chair for kalpi... kalpi sits on the chair and raghav sits in the opposite chair... Waiter comes towards them and hands over the menu card to kalpi...

But before kalpi could say anything.. Raghav ordered all her favorite dishes... And kalpi looked at him with shocked expression... raghav stops and turns to kalpi for asking would she like to have something more... But he looks at kalpi shocked expressions and smiles and says...

R: kalpi kya hua..

K: Wo kalpi how you know that I love all this.. I mean even my parents don't know this much about my likes...

R: Because you are their daughter and my wife... And I should know every likes and dislikes of my wife haina...

kalpi smiles and says..

K: You are the best husband you know that...

R: kalpi...

waiter come back with the dinner...

Waiter left from their... kalpi then looks at raghav and says..

K: raghav when did you arrange this...

R: Hmm two hours before...

K: Wow Mr singhania I must say you have loads of people working for you...

R: Working for us kalpi... And when I called for booking all the tables were full and I wanted to bring you here as this is your favorite restaurant so I planned this and then asked them to arrange everything...

kalpi looks at him with awwee... They both share an eye lock and after sometime raghav says...

R: kalpi are you happy...

K: A lot...

R: To finally I am succeeded... I mean I shouted at you so I was feeling very guilty...

K: raghav that's ok...
Raghav smiles and says...

ragha and kalpi started having their meal...
... kalpi was smiling all the time as everything was her favorite... Ragha was happy seeing kalpi happy... Dinner was completed... Waiter cleaned the table and left from their...

kalpi gets up from the chair and said..

K: chalein.. I think its quite late now...

R: kalpi would you like to dance with me...

K: Dance here...

R: Yes here... Please...

K: Ok... But music...

Raghav then calls the waiter and ask him to switch on the music... Waiter does that and Teri Meri Starts playing...
Raghav gets up from his chair and extends his palm towards kalpi looking into her eyes... kalpi puts her palm in his locking her eyes with his... Raghav locked her palm in his and then walked towards the centre...

Song Started...

He left her hand walking few inches away from her looking at her and then holds her hand again and pulled her towards him making her back landing on his chest and then bends to his left holding her with him... kalpi looks at him and they both shared and eye lock...

He then slowly gets up and throws her still holding her hand and pulls her back making her landing on him directly... Her one hand on his shoulder and other in his hand... His one hand was around her waist...

He then made circle and then made her bend down holding her towering over her looking into her eyes... He pulls her up and left her... Her breathing became heavy... Her heartbeats raced up... She didn't know what was happening to her
raghav came back from behind and slides his hand around her bare tummy... kalpi closed her eyes resting her head on his chest and her palm pressing his on her bare skin... He then took her one hand towards his face and made it slide down touching his face... kalpi felt butterflies in her stomach
Both looks at each other... Both get lost in each other's eyes... song kept playing but raghav and kalpi were just staring at each other... Her breath heavy... Raghav left her palm and slides his hand around her waist and pulls her close... kalpi didn't say anything... She didn't want to... raghav then cups her cheek with his palm and kalpi looked into his eyes rubbing her cheek over his palm... He then opened his mouth to say something..

R: kalpi I...

But he was cut by the ring of his cell... He suddenly realized their position and then removes his hand from her waist and picks up the call walking few meters away from kalpi...

kalpi looked at his back... and then her fingers touched her cheeks where his palm was resting few minutes before... She closed her eyes feeling him... "Why his touch was so different today and what he wanted to say" ... Why my heartbeats raced up whenever he comes near me..

But her thoughts were broken when raghac called her...

Raghav was standing near the exit door of the terrace..

R: kalpi...

kalpi looks at him coming out of her thoughts...

R: Lets go...

kalpi nodded her head thinking may be she needs some more time to clear this thing...

They walked out of the hotel towards their car... Raghav started the car... He was driving looking straight as he didn't want to look at kalpi.. He remembers the scene where he was cupping her cheek and was about to say something... He kicked himself and says..

R: How could you raghav... You have to control your feelings...

On the other hand kalpi was looking outside the window... She was getting the images of their dance and then raghav cupping her cheek and then his unsaid words... She slowly turned her face and looks at raghav who was still looking at the road with straight face... She slowly spoke..

K: raghav... What you were saying...

Raghav froze... He thought that kalpi didn't remember but no he was wrong here she was asking him about those unsaid words... He takes a deep breath and turns his face towards kalpi and said...

R: Hmm nothing wo I I just wanted...

But his words were cut by the ring on her cell this time...

She quickly picks up the call and raghav turns his face again looking straight on the road... After few minutes they reached their apartment...

kalpi was still on the call.. It was her aai call... She was excitedly talking to her aai and was telling her about the surprise planned by raghav... raghav looked at her and then smiles thinking "kalpi I am sorry... I am really very sorry..."

kalpi while talking suddenly looks around and stops when she sees him staring at her intensely... She started stammering on the phone which made raghav laugh... He nodded his head in a no and said...

He step out of his car and walks to her side and opens the door for her... She gets down cutting the phone call... They walked inside the apartment and then to their room...

R: kalpi go and change..

kalpi nods her head and walks to the closet to take her night dress...

She takes her dress and walks to the bathroom to change... After few minutes kalpi walked out wearing a blue night dress... She walks to the bed and raghav enters the bathroom... She laid on the bed thinking about their dinner... It was the best dinner she ever had... She felt like princess... Even prem never made her feel like that... She remembers everything about their night including their dance...

Raghav walks out of the bathroom and looks at kalpi... He walks near her and smiles and she was sleeping peacefully with a cute smile on her face... She drifted to sleep thinking about their dinner... He sits beside her and looks at her face... She is an angel thought raghav... He then tucked her locks behind her ears and kiss her on her forehead and says...

R: kalpi you are the best thing happen to me... I love you kalpi... But shayad aaj you would not have been with me agar us raat... His thoughts drifted towards that night...

Flashback...

Raghav kalpi and prem were standing near the bar counter enjoying their drinks... kalpi was sipping her orange juice raghav was having his wine and prem was sipping whisky.. After few sips prem received a call... He walks few steps away from raghav and kalpu and talks for few minutes... He comes back and says...

P: bhai will you drop kalpi...

kalpi frowns as she has met raghav just few times and they have never conversed much...

Raghav notices her frown and says...

R: But why prem...

P: Actually my friend met with an accident so I have to rush to the hospital... And I don't want kalpi to be late so...

Raghav looks at kalpi asking for her approval... She nods her head as she didn't want to be late...

R: Ok... Take care and if you need any help then call me...

Prem nods his head and left from their... Raghav smiles at kalpi and says...

R: You want to stay here for sometime or want to go home...

K: Lets go... Waise bhi prem left so I think I should also leave and its getting late...

R: Ok finish your drink will leave after that...

kalpi nodded... She started having her juice when raghav received a call... He excused himself and walks little away from all the noise... He picks up the call and was talking to his manager when suddenly his eyes widen as he sees prem walking out of the restroom looking around after every step as if he was making sure that no one was following him... raghav cuts the call and was about to call him but stops as he found something fishy in his behaviour...

R: prwm left 15 minutes before then what he is doing here... May be bidding bye to other friends then why he is behaving as if he is some criminal...

His doubt confirms when prem instead of moving out walks to the other side of the club hiding himself and then walks upstairs... raghav follows him... He stops when he sees prem... He was sitting on the couch... His best friend rishabh was with him... They both were having their drinks...

Raghav looks at him confused... He was about to call him but stops hearing rishabh...

Ri: prem why the hell you asked your brother to drop kalpi.. I mean you have planned to mark her yours today...

Raghav gets shocked hearing this... But then he thought that why prwm is planning... kalpi is all his... He got his answer in few minutes...

P: Dude you will not understand... See I have mixed tablets in kalpi juice and this will show its effect in sometime... So I want bhai to be with her when she will faint... Obviously kalpi will see him before she will faint... and then after bhai will drop her hpme I will go their... Her parents are not at home today and then after thay you know...

An evil smile played on his lips...

Ri: You mean you will have her and if at all in the morning she finds out this she will blame ragha ...

P: Bingo because you know I am very sweet and innocent guy in her eye and then I will break this marriage by proving her characterless...

Raghav eyes widens in shock... He was not able to believe his ears... His brother can make this kind of plan against him and kalpi... But why... He wanted to his answers and luckily he got his answers...

Prem then continued...

P: You know rishabh that why I dated kalpi for this long... I mean I wanted to have her once... But this kalpi ... I never knew that she will be this traditional... She didn't even allow me to kiss... Can you believe that... But meine bhi haar nahi mani.. I wanted for 2 years.. I agreed for wedding just to be in her good books but you know about my flings right... And today finally I got that chance... I wanted to do this from a long time but always she was accompanied by her best friend and then her over protective parents not allowing guy after 10 at night so I have to go for this engagement and wedding stuff... Bas sirf aaj ki raat after having her I am going to break this as you know I don't taste a girl twice...

Rishabh laugh at this and raghav clenched his fist... He wanted to kick prem then and their... But he controlled... He closed his eyes as kalpi face crossed across his eyes... He has always loved kalpi from the first day when she came to meet him with prwm... But he kept his feeling within himself as he loved his brother and also kalpi loved prem so he didn't want to come in between them but today reality shook her... He never in his dream thought that prem can be like this...

He was about to go and give a mouthful to prem but then suddenly he remembers prem word about the drink...

R: kalpi...
