Kamla welcomed her would-be damaad and the rest of the baraat with an aarthi ki thali,amidst her family and all the other chawl people.She was very happy.finally her Kalpi is getting married to her dream man.She applided tika to the dulha through a slight partition on his sehra and then along with Vitthal and Pakhya welcomed all of them inside.Every one went to the area where the mandap was set up and sat down to wait for the dulhan.Paakhi came running downstairs eager to see Sammy as her friend's dulha and also her "prince charming" who should be with the Dulha but as she searched for Raghav among the barathis' she didn't find him.She went to Kamla and asked her whether she saw Raghav anywhere.Kamla smiled and told her she didn't see baba anywhere and asked her to call him since the dulha is busy chatting with some of his friends.Paakhi called Raghav but got no answer.She tried a few times and then finally her call was answered.As soon as the call got connected she asked,"Sir,where are you?You are not here at your friend's wedding?What's more important than that right now?Kamla ma is also asking for you.Please come soon."Suddenly there was dhol and music band performing as per Pakhya's instructions and she was unable to hear the response so she again told Raghav to come soon and cut the call.She told Kamla he's coming soon.
Meanwhile Panditji aksed for the bride to be brought down,so Kamla and Paakhi rushed upstairs and brought kalpana down.She was looking ethereal.She was glowing like a star with the love she has for the person she's going to marry now...her Raghav.When she reached the mandap her dulha came forward and offered her a hand to assist her.She smiled up at him even as she put her hand in his and allowed him to pull her on to the mandap.That one touch of her Raghav told her how happy he was to finally be able to see her as his bride.He didn't let go of her hand till the pandit asked them to exchange Varmala.They did that with out any games,even though Pakhya and Paakhi tried to pull them away from each other.They don't want to wait now that their dream moment is so near them.They are in a hurry to get married already.The remaining wedding rituals started as they sat at their places.Everything went on smoothly.The Kanyadan,the Pheras and the Mangalsutr and sindhoor daan.All the while the dulha-dulhan have eyes only for each other.Even though Kalpana couldn't see Raghav clearly she knew he was looking at her all the while.He kept her hand in his hold whenever they were free of doing rituals.He was already fulfilling his promise to not let go of her hand whenever possible.When the pandit finally declared them husband-wife,they were so ecstatic that they immediately turned towards each other.Longing to see Raghav as her husband,Kalpana started to remove his sehra almost unconsciously.But then came to her senses that they were in the middle of all their family and friends and became shy and stopped herself.Seeing this everyone laughed at her uneasiness that made her more shy.But her new husband,who always tried to give her whatever she wanted,smiled to himself seeing her desire to see him and removed the sehra himself.Looking at her husband,her Raghav,Kalpana's breath caught in her throat.The only thought in her mind at that moment was he was all hers now and forever.She was unable to control her emotions and feelings any longer and pushing away all shyness,she went forward and hugged him with all her joy and happiness evident on her face and the tears running down her cheeks.Raghav gathered her close to himself sensing her overwhelming feelings and tried to soothe her with his presence and support.
When she found herself in control of her feelings,she stepped away from him to see the smile on his face and happiness and contentment in his eyes.But they were interrupted by a loud voice saying,"yaar tu mere liye ruk nahi saktha tha kya?Itni bhi kya jaldi hai shaadi karne ki.Main aa hi raha tha na.Tere wajah se maine mere bhai ki shaadi miss kardi.Sab teri galthi hai."Raghav & Kalpana looking towards the voice and found Sammy standing a few feet away from them with a big frown and fake anger on his face.They smiled at each other and went to him.Raghav pulled his ear and said,"Nautanki saale,Late tu kartha hai aur ilzaam hum pe lagatha hai.Kisne kaha tha itni der karne ko.Maine bola tha na uss conference call ko cancel karde...aaj se jyada important aur kuch nahi hai.Fir...tu ne hi bola tha ki tu jaldi call khatam karke yaha aayega.Ab tu nahi aaya toh main kya apni shaadi rok ke tera intezaar kartha?Tu jaantha hai ki mujhe iss shadi ki kitni jaldi hai,toh late kyun aaya tu,bol?"
Sammy laughed at Raghav's words and ducked under his arms and went behind Kalpana and said,"Dekha Kalpana,aisa hai tumhara husband.Dekho toh kaise mujhpe roph jaadtha rehtha hai.Ab tum aa gayi ho na toh hum dono milke issko tang karenge,okay.Tum aaj se meri team mein ho aur Raghav akela.Aakhir isse bhi toh pata chale gulami kya hothi hai.Tyrant kahi ka."
But before Raghav can retaliate for his fake insults,another angry voice stopped their friendly banter,"Yeh sab ho kya raha hai yaha pe?"They turned around to see almost all their family and the guests staring at them like they were watching some horror movie.Kamla has her hands around her mouth ,Paakhi looking like she has no blood in her face and Neetu was on the verge of fainting.From the moment Raghav removed his sehra and the people around him observed,everyone was in such a shock they were unable to do or say anything.And then came Sammy,which increased that shock.But when they saw the friendly banter happening between the three,that snapped them out of their shock and Kamla was beyond angry thinking that she has been betrayed by her own daughter.She came towards them angrily and without thinking anything,started to raise her hand at her daughter.Instantly,Raghav saw red.He stopped that hand on instinct,the hand which was raised to hurt his wife.He was beyond angry at such a gesture from Kamla ma,that too at such an auspicious occasion.He was unable to understand what happened in a few moments that the happy atmosphere turned in to such a hostile one.
He tried to calm himself for the sake of Kalpana and looking towards their family and then Kamla asked in a controlled voice,"What were you trying to do Kamla ma?You were raising your hand at your daughter on her marriage day?What happened to you suddenly?"Kalpana who stood there in absolute shock form the moment she saw her ayi looking at her furiously snapped out of her daze and looked towards her asking,"Kya baat hai ayi?Maine kya kiya hai jo tu itna gussa dikha rahi hai mujhpe?"
Kamla was unable to see reason in anything else.She said furiously."Tu mujhse pooch rahi hai kya hua?Tu ne aaj apne hi parivaar ko itna bada dhoka diya hai.Meri beti hoke apni hi behen ki khushiyan cheen li tu ne aur poochthi hai kya hua hai?Ye kya kardiya tu ne Kalpi.Raghav baba se shaadi ki tu ne?Kyun kiya aise?Ab Paakhi ka kya hoga?Tu ne usse saari khushiyan cheen li hai.Mujhe sharam aati hai tujhe apni beti kehthe hue bhi aaj...achcha hotha ki tu paida hone se pehle hi..."
"KAMLAAA !!!"

Two angry voices stopped the tirade Kamla was delivering almost in a trance.She was startled out of her anger when she looked away from Kalpi to see Vitthal and Raghav both equally furious and glaring daggers at her.But when she looked past them and saw Paakhi still standing in shock beside Neetu she fought down her fear and glared back at them both and said,"Kya galat kaha maine Vitthal.Issne aaj jo kiya hai na usske baad ye meri beti nahi hai.Isse toh.."
But Vitthal gestured to her to stop her vicious words.His one silent gesture was enough to stop her this time.He went towards Kalpi who was still in shock and was supported by Raghav's arms around her and asked them in an even tone,"Ye sab kya hai beta?Teri shaadi Raghav baba se?Tujhe toh Sammy pasand tha na?"
That staement actually electroluted the newly-weds and their friend so much that they visibly started.Raghav and Sammy were looking at each other in utter confusion and Kalpana was rendered speechless.Raghav recovered first and asked Vitthal,"Ye aapse kine kaha ki Kalpana Sammy se shaadi karna chahthi hai?"
Vitthal,who was observing all 3 of them,said to Raghav,"Kamla ko Paakhi ne bola tha ki Kalpi Sammy se pyaar karthi hai.Aur fir Kalpi ne bhi kabhi apne pasand ke insaan ka naam nahi liya humaare saamne.Toh humne soch Sammy hi woh ladka hai jisse who shaadi karna chahthi hai.Par yeh sab?"
Raghav exhaled loudly and ran a hand through his hair,feeling bone-tired with all this ordeal.Sammy was also looking wearily at the rest of them.Kalpana was looking down,silently,with tears in her eyes.This was not something he wished to ever see his Kalpi going through.But the fault was all theirs.They were not careful to disclose the accurate information to her parents and hence these misunderstandings.
Raghav looked up towards Vitthal,Kamla and all others present there and said,"I will clear the air once and for all right now.Main aur Kalpana ek doosre se pyaar karthe hai.Bohuth pyaar.Maine usse pehle confess kiya tha.Ussne bohuth time li mere pyaar ko accept karne mein.Usse apni ayi-baba ki chinta thi.Par fir usse mere pyaar pe dheere dheere yakken hone laga.tab jaake ussne haan ki thi mujhe.Aur usske thode din baad hi aap logon ne milne ki baat ki.Fir maine Kalpi ke results ke baare mein suna aur unhe theek karwaane mein lag gaya.Usske baad hum dono ne socha aapko sab samajh aa gaya haoga aur aap log Kalpi ke pasand par bharosa karke mujhe apni beti ka haath de rahe hai.Humne nahi socha tha ki inn sab ke beech Pakhi ko aisa lagega ki Kalpi aur Sammy ek saath hai.Trust me,aisa bilkul nahi hai.Mujhe apne bhai jaise dost pe bohuth bharosa hai aur usse bhi jyada apne Kalpi ke pyaar pe bharosa hai.Woh dono bhi dost hai.Inn dino mein hum theeno ke beech achchi dosti ban gayi hai hai.Ye dono toh dost se jyada devar-bhabhi ban gaye hai.Sammy toh shaadi se pehle se hi Kalpi ko Bhabhi karke pukaartha hai.Pata nahi ye sab kaise hogaya."
He turned to his Kalpi and said,"I'm sorry Kalpi.Aaj ke din yeh sab ho jaayege maine socha bhi nahi tha.Agar mujhe pata hota toh main isski naubath bhi nahi aane detha.Meri hi galthi hai,mujhe hi tumhaare ayi baba se seedhe seedhe tumhara haath maanga chahiye tha.Par main nervous ho gaya tha tab.Mujhe please maaf kardo iss sab ke liye."
Kalpana who was standing silently till then flung herself into his arms and cried bitterly into his chest.He supported her trembling form and tried to soothe her wounded soul with his apologies and promises.
All the while Raghav was speaking,Kamla was listening to him in increasing dismay.She was appalled at her behaviour towards her newly-wedded daughter.She was unable to think why she didn't show even a small amount of trust in her daughter and asked her of the matter instead of accusing her in front of the whole society.She was unable to even look at any one,let alone her Kalpi.She know her daughter was devastated by her accusations.How was she going to ever face her Kalpi and Raghav baba now?
Paakhi,on the other hand snapped out of her shock at Raghav's words professing his love for Kalpana.She has always thought that Raghav loved her.But when she saw towards him speaking of his love for another girl,she saw it in his eyes how much he loves Kalpi and how happy he was with their marriage.She thought back to all their interactions and all of Raghav and Kalpi's interactions and was able to see clearly that their love was so out in the open even then.But she was the one blinded by her dreams and infatuations.She was the one who has her eyes closed to such a pure love.There was no one but herself to blame for what happened today and for her broken heart.She realised that now.She went towards Kamla ma and put a hand on her shoulder.When she turned towards her,Pakhi said,"I'm sorry Kamla ma.Ye sab mei wajah se hua hai.na main aapse kehthi ki Kalpi ko Sammy pasand hai na aapko yeh galatfaimi hothi.Aap usse hi poochthi usski pasand kaun hai.Maine jo dekha usska poora galath matlab nikaal liya.Sammy ke baare mein bhi aur Ragahv ke baare mein bhi.Aap mujhse kehthi rahi ki mujhe pata karni chahiye ki Raghav mujhe pasand karthe hai ya nahi par main hi apne sapnon ke duniya se bahar nahi aana chahthi thi aur maanthi rahi ki Ragahv bhi mujhe pasand karthe hai.Par sach toh kuch aur hi hai.Aaj mujhe apne aap pe bohuth sharam aa rahi hai.I'm very sorry everyone.Aaj itna khushi ka mauka hai aur ye sab ho gaya.Kalpi,yaar mujhe maaf karde please.Rona band karde ab.Mujhe bohuth takleef ho rahi hai tujhe aise aaj ke din rothe dekh ke.Please chup ho ja."
Kamla turned to Kalpi,still keeping Paakhi in her arms.She saw her daughter still crying in Raghav's arms and looked to Vitthal for help.He sighed heavily and shook his head.He thought he'll become mad someday between his wife and his daughter and Paakhi.He can see Kamla was ashamed of her outburst and Paakhi has apologised to everyone for her mistake.Bas ab usski Rajkumari theek ho jaaye toh sab achcha ho jaayega.He turned to go towards his princess but stopped looking at the couple who were comforting each other and trying to raise above the situation together.He saw Raghav talking to Kalpana in a low voice that was not audible to anyone else.Seeing their love and support for each other,he finally became relaxed.He can be content with his life now that there's someone for his Rajkumari who will take care of her through all the highs and lows of life.He can finally let go of his daughter.
Raghav was trying to talk to Kalpi through her grief and was successful in helping her controlling her emotions.She looked up at Raghav who wiped away her remaining tears,kissed her forehead and gestured her to give him a smile.She did smile at his love for her but when she looked towards her ayi and Paakhi she felt the sorrow trying to engulf her again.She resolutely pushed it away and went towards them.
Kamla took Klapi's hands and said."apni ayi ko maaf karde beta.Maine aaj tera bharosa toda hai tujhpe bharosa na karke.Main gusse mein andhi ho gayi thi.Mujhe aisa nahi karna chahiye tha.Maaf karde mujhe kalpi."Kalpana stopped her ayi by hugging her and then saying,"Main tujhse kabhi bhi kisi bhi haal mein jyada der naraaz nahi reh sakthi ayi.Maafi maangne ki jaroorath nahi hai.Tu mujhe daant,maar,kuch bhi kar...par aage se bas apni iss beti par thoda bharosa bhi karliya kar.Isse jyada mujhe kuch nahi chahiye ayi."Kamla hugged her daughter close and cried with her apologizing again n again.Kalpi extended a hand to Paakhi who was standing beside them and Paakhi beamed at her and joined the hug.All the people who were there looked on happy and relieved to see all was well.All except Neetu and Manda who were very much shocked and dissatisfied with the turn of the events and left from there unable to do anything.
After that Kalpana's bidaai was a grand affair,even though a bit sad.Everyone was happy that finally Raghav and Kalpana found happiness and love in each other and now will be able to spend the rest of tehir lives together nurturing their happiness,trust and LOVE.
