Thank you for the kind comments and likes everyone. 😊 I know the previous post was kinda short but I'm building up towards RagNa moments. So please bear with me for a while... So before any further delay, here is chapter 2:

Chapter 2

Raghav was on his way back home after his usual morning run. This was something he enjoyed doing whenever he was back from a tournament. The beaches in Mumbai were one of the things he missed whenever he was away. There was something soothing about the cold and refreshing breeze, the rustling of the swaying palm tree leaves, birds twittering as they soared high above and the delicate splashes of the sea. The quietness you couldn't hear and the sight you couldn't see in the city. A place he didn't have to worry about anything...

Back at the apartment, Kalpana was getting ready for work. It was her first day and the last thing she wanted was to be late. Grabbing her purse, she quickly made her way downstairs where the company's car was waiting for her. A part of her was grateful for this privilege which came along with the position in the company. Kalpana had hardly spent any time exploring the city as she had been busy setting up the apartment trying to make herself feel more at home even though deep down she was missing her parents terribly.

As Kalpana swiftly yet confidently made her way towards the car, she failed to notice a pair of dark brown eyes that had been following her from the minute she had exited the building.

Raghav Singhania was completely mesmerized by what he was seeing. You could say that he was almost hypnotized. Watching the beautiful stranger, he couldn't help but smile and wondered what it would be like to have a girl like that in his life. As the car pulled away, Raghav snapped back to reality and mentally slapped himself for having such thoughts and forgetting about Pakhi. He let out a sigh before continuing his way back home.

For both Raghav and Kalpana, the rest of the day passed by quickly.

Kalpana was busy adjusting to her new work environment and getting to know more about her responsibilities and meeting her colleagues with whom she was going to spend the next two years.

On the other hand, Raghav was busy training with the rest of this team for their upcoming matches. The team's performance this season had been very commendable and they hoped to continue their winning streak for the matches to come.

After a long and tiring day, all Raghav was looking forward to was his mum's delicious home-cooked meal and a good night's rest. However, as he entered the penthouse, he knew the night was not going to go as planned as he and his mother had company...
