Hey guys! After reading so many FF/SS/OS, I've decided to try my hand at writing my very own and first FF based on our favourite couple, Raghav and Kalpana. Though I'm using the names of the characters, I'm giving them new identities and there is no link to the show.

Character Sketch

Raghav Singhania: An ambitious 26 year old cricketer. Vice captain of the Indian National team. Very down to earth despite his successful career at such a young age and loves his mother dearly.

Gauri Singhania: Raghav's mother, whose sole ambition in life is to find the perfect girl for her son.

Kalpana Jadhav: A 24 year old independent girl. Just finished her MBA from Pune and has now come to Mumbai for a two-year contract with a Multinational company. Her parents live in Pune.

Pakhi Kapoor: Raghav's girlfriend who is a famous model and is in love with Raghav. Princess of her family.

well your cs sounds amazing and hatke...

i read so many stories here... almost from 10 forums...

no one has written on the cricket related... as per me...

and also it is not related to the show, readers will tend to like such type of stories because they want something new...

Hey guys! Thank you so much for your kind responses and likes.🤗 Wasn't expecting so many to be honest. Anyways, I'm so sorry for not posting yesterday as promised. Finals in 2 weeks toh watt lagi hui hai. Hope you guys understand! 😊 So before anymore delay, here is chapter 1:

Chapter 1

A young girl looked up at the building that she would now call home for the next two years. She felt a wave of emotions as she recalled her journey. Countless sleepless nights, hard work and her desire to achieve was more than enough to meet the expectations that her parents had and get her to where she was today.

Having graduated top in the Dean's list at the end of her MBA from Pune University, 24 years old Kalpana Jadhav had managed to secure a position as a Sales & Marketing manager in a multinational company through campus placements. The only issue was that she would have to work from the main headquarters located in Mumbai. While Kalpana wasn't keen on leaving her family, her parents managed to convince her by saying that she shouldn't let such an opportunity go to waste and that they would come visit her whenever possible as Pune was only a couple of hours drive away.

So now here she stood two weeks later, looking forward to embark on a new journey. Little did she know what destiny had in store for her...

In the penthouse of the same building, a mother was trying to convince her son. "Raghav beta, kam se kam yeh photographs dekh toh lo meri khatir."- Gauri Singhania insisted waving a bunch of photographs in front of her son. While Raghav Singhania loved his mother dearly, whenever she brought up the topic of marriage, he couldn't help but get a little annoyed. When he didn't respond, his mother simply walked away saying," Lagta hai meri kismat mein apne pota-poti se milna nahi likha hai!"

Raghav sighed. This was the usual drama whenever he came back home after a tournament. If his mother didn't bring up the topic of marriage then his girlfriend, Pakhi Kapoor would. Thankfully she was out of town on a modeling assignment. Raghav rested his head back on the sofa wondering when the marriage issue would stop troubling him and what destiny had in store for him.
