Part 4:

Raghav's eyes widened when he saw who his partner was. "Tum!"

"Haan mein, Bhaiya" Tanya said to her brother. "Tum yahaan keise?" Raghav asked her. "Bhaiya mein aaj hi ayee, kyun ki mera kutch fashion designing ka kaam tha yahaan" Tanya replied. "Aur veise bhi mere bhaiya yahaan aur mein vahaan aise toh ho hi nahi sakta na" Tanya said sweetly. "Tum iss party mein keise?" Raghav went on. "Sammy ne kahaan ki tum mujhe yahaan dekh kar shock ho jaaoge aur dekho vahi hua" Tanya said giggling. Raghav smiled. Whenever he saw his sister happy he felt proud. His mom had left them when they were young. Right before his father had passed away, he had asked Raghav to take good care of his sister.

"Nice game" Tanya said after a few moments. "Yeah right, you can't just dance with any boy like tha-" "Oh come on Bhaiya" Tanya said. "Aap bhi film industry mein itni saari heroines ke saath dance karte ho na" "Whatever" Raghav mumbled rolling his eyes which caused Tanya to start laughing. And when she laughed Raghav started laughing as well. Switch. "See ya Bhaiya" Tanya said moving on.

Kalpana moved onto Sammy. "Hey Kalpana" Sammy said. "Hi, Sir" Kalpana replied looking at Raghav once. "How would you feel being Raghav's heroine in a movie?" Sammy asked her jokingly. Kalpana looked up suddenly. "Mein aur actress?" she mumbled looking back down. "Nahi..aisa toh ho hi nahi sakta na..." "Relax, I was just kidding" Sammy responded. "Sir, can I go use the washroom real quick?" Kalpi asked him. "Of course" Sammy said making way for her to go past him.

Over by her partner Paakhi saw Kalpi running off somewhere. She knew something was wrong. Kalpana was not the types to leave in the middle of things. She wanted to go after Kalpi but her partner had a very tight grip on her. Idiot' Paakhi mumbled about him.

Over in the washroom Kalpana immediately sat down. Tears started flowing out of her eyes. Why did everyone have to mention acting every once in a while. Since childhood she had dreamed of becoming an actress and now that the time was finally here she couldn't. Only she knew how she managed to stay happy even though her not being able to become an actress would always trouble her.

After a few minutes she stood back up and went to the sink. She tried to make her face look the same as before; all cheerful and happy. She was successful in smiling.

Raghav noticed when Kalpana slipped back into the party. It looked as if she had been crying. He could tell because her nose was all red and her eyes a little puffy. What could a girl like that be sad about?' he thought to himself.

"Kalpi" Paakhi said going over to Kalpi to stand next to her. "Tum ro kyun rahi thi?" "Mein..nahi toh" Kalpi said not meeting Paakhi's eyes. "Apni best friend se jhoot bolegi?" Paakhi asked her. "Mein tumme bachpan se dekhti ayee hoon mujhe patta hai keise teri naak laal ho jaati hai jab tum roh ti ho." "No, Paakhi, mein theek hoon" Kalpana said. "Okay then" Paakhi said. Tanya came over to the girls. She extended her hand out to Kalpi. Kalpi shook it and before Tanya could introduce herself, Kalpi said, "Nice to meet you, Tanya Mam." "Tum isse jaanti ho, Kalpi?" Paakhi asked in surprise. "Isse kaun nahi jaanta ye ek jaani maani fashion designer hai" Kalpi told Paakhi. "Aur mere favorite actor ki bhehn bhi hai." "Sahi pechaana" Tanya said kindly. "Mein Tanya hoon. Raghav ki bhehn." "Nice to meet you" Paakhi said to Tanya who nodded kindly in return. "Paakhi der ho rahi hai challe?" Kalpi asked her. Paakhi nodded and agreed. "Bye" Kalpana said to Tanya and walked past her with Paakhi right behind her.

Once Paakhi drops Kalpi home she leaves. Kalpana is humming softly to herself while going in and pauses once she gets in. Her eyes widen. Her aaji was standing before her with crossed arms. "Aaji?" Kalpana asked in surprise. She bent down to take her blessings. Aaji backed off before Kalpi could touch her feet. "Theek hai theek hai" Aaji said. "Aap yahaan? Aap to kal aane wali thi na?" Kalpana asked curiously. "Haan toh? Mein aaj nahi aa sakti?" Aaji asked. "Nahin aisi..." Kalpana started. "Aur tu bataa itni der baar kya kar rahi thi?" Aaji asked. Kalpana looked up at the clock. It was only ten. She had come home earlier than was necessary. "Aaj-"

Kamla always made dinner for Kalpi as she wanted her to focus on studying to fulfill her dream. "Kya khaaegi?" Kamla asked her. "Voh Ai Bhind-" "Ek minute!" Aaji interrupted. "Kalpi apne liye khaana khud banayegi." "Ji Maaji?" Kamla asked. "Haan" Aaji said simply. "Tu apne behte par gaur karro iss chokdi ke aage peeche ghoomna band karro!"

Kalpana felt like laughing. When had her mother ever focused on her that her attention for her would decrease? In order for the attention to decrease, there would have to be a certain amount of attention she gave her. "Haan aap sahi kehri hai" Kamla said to Aaji. "Kalpi jaa apna khaana khud banaalo!" she ordered Kalpi. Kalpana nodded and went into her room to change. As she walked away she heard Kamla telling Aaji, "Ab yeh baddi hogayi hai toh yeh mera sapna pura karegi, afterall isi liye toh peda kiya hai meine ussko." "Sahi baat hai" Aaji agreed.

Tears formed in Kalpana's eyes. What century was her family living in? On one side they wanted her to become a businesswoman and on the other side they treated her like a woman would be treated back in the day.

That night Kalpana changed and went to bed without eating any dinner. Aaji had just come home after a few months and already Kamla was treating her worse. All night tears fell from her eyes onto the pillow. By morning, she had cried all she could and there were no tears left to shed.

Kalpana put on a white top and blue jeans and went to the breakfast table. Kamla shoved a plate of pancakes under her nose. She had barely finished a few bites and drunk a little bit of her milk when Kamla took the plate away. "Ab jaa kaam par" Kamla ordered. Kalpana put a hand to her head. She hadn't gotten a good night's sleep and her head was hurting very badly. "Ai, sirr mein boht dard hai, kya mein aaj shuti kar loon?" she asked. "Kaam chor kahi ki" Aaji said from the head of the table. "Kamla, yeh dekho, tumaari beti keise kaam se bhaag rahi hai."

Kamla looked at Kalpana sternly. "Mujhe koi farak nahi padta agar tere sirr mein dard ho raha hai, Kalpi. Yeh teri problem hai meri nahi" Kamla said. "Bas itna yaad rakh ki tujhe mera sapna poora karna hai. Ek badda ghar khareed kar dena hai." "Theek hai, Ai mein chalti hoon" Kalpana said standing up and turning to leave. "Ruk!!" Aaji said. "Yeh jean aur top? Kyun?" Kamla said, "Ma ji yeh aaj kal ka fashion hai." Kalpana smiled. Kamla was defending her? But what Kamla said next made Kalpi's smile fade away. "Agar Kalpana alag dikhi toh usske boss par kya impression padega?" Kamla asked Aaji. "Agar memsaab bane keliye usse yeh kapde pene ki ijaazat deni padde toh mujhe manzoor hai." Aaji smiled and nodded. Before her heart would break into a bunch of pieces, Kalpi decided it best to leave from there.

Kalpana and Paakhi entered the office together. Raghav watched from his cabin as Kalpana walked by. Maybe he should try to get to know her more. She looked like a nice girl. And she would be working with him so that made things easier. Raghav wanted to know why Kalpi was so interesting to him. What made her different from all the other girls he had ever met.

Kalpana sat down on her table and immediately went to work on her files. She wanted to get them done quickly before her headache got worse. She was getting really sleepy as she did more files. Raghav decided to go say hi to Kalpi. When he entered he saw her head on her table. She was fast asleep. Wow. She was so beautiful. He decided not to disturb her and left from there. He told Paakhi to go wake Kalpi up as she had unfinished work. Paakhi started to say something, "Sir, just a request.." "No, I will not have you meet Hrithik Roshan, let go of that topic!" Raghav said, sensing she was about to talk about that. Paakhi's face fell. "Okay.." she agreed.

Precap: Raghav and Kalpi have lunch together at the canteen and immediately become good friends.
