Hey guys, I am back with another story and I hope you all like it!:)
Here's my character sketch and I will only continue if you guys like it. 😊
I might change the title of my story later according to how it progresses. You Are a Star is all I could come up of as of now.

Character Sketch:

Raghav: He's a famous actor. He's done a lot of movies and is very well known. Nearly everyone is a huge fan of him. (Especially girls) 😆

Kalpana: She wants to be an actress but her family is absolutely against acting. Her family wants her to be a business woman. They think that acting will get her nowhere.

Paakhi: Paakhi is always trying to convince Kalpi's family to let her become an actress. She is willing to do anything for Kalpi. She makes it a goal to convince Kalpi's family.

Samar: He is Raghav's best friend though he isn't an actor. Samar is a businessman and Kamla wants Kalpi to join his company.

Part 1:

Kalpi had just graduated from college a few days ago. She was eating dinner with her family and decided to speak up. "Ai voh mein apne job ke baarein mein aapse discuss karna chaati thi" she said. "Arre haan Kalpi kya tumme achi company mil gayi hai" Kamla asked while pouring Vitthal a glass of milk. "Arre Ai mein humeisha tujhse kehti hoon na ki mujhe actress ban na hai" Kalpi said with an eager smile. "Mujhe bhi achi movies mein kaam karna hai mere favorite actor Raghav Singhaniya ke jeise." "Mazaak acha kar leti ho tum" Kamla said chuckling. "Acting ki baate toh tum college finish karne ke pehle kiya karti thi. Bachi nahi rahi ho tum ab, samaj ki acting mein tera koi future nahi hai." "Aisa tum keise keh sakti ho, Ai?" Kalpi asked tears in her eyes. "Dekh Kalpi, tujhe mera sapna pura karna hai, yeh acting vacting ka chakkar chod" Kamla said while taking a spoon of soup. "Lekeen Ai..." "Dekh Kalpi, iss baat pe bhes nahi chaati hoon mein. Tera acting ka sapna poora hone ka koi chance hi nahi hai. Meri baat maan tu ek company mein jab kara boht baddi memsaab bane gi tu." Kamla insised. "Theek hai, Ai" Kalpi said holding back her tears. "Excuse me" she said excusing herself from the dining table.
Once in her room she fell down on her bed and started crying. She wanted to be an actress. In college she had taken so many acting classes just to get prepared. She had always taken part in any plays the college held. Why couldn't Ai understand her? And dad- well he agreed with anything Ai said. Pakhya sometimes seemed to understand her but he didn't do much about it. And then there was Aaji who came home to visit every few months and encouraged Kamla to send Kalpana to work in a great company. Aaji said that if Kalpana didn't want to get married so soon then she might as well work. She told them that they didn't feed an extra mouth for nothing. Kamla always kept quiet listening to all the junk Aaji said. Kalpana was always extremely hurt by that behavior of them. Pakhya didn't even have a job but he was still considered more important in the house than her. Of course, Kalpana loved her brother but that doesn't mean no one would give her any importance.
Kalpi got up and went to a wall touching a poster. On it was Raghav's poster on a new movie of his that had just come out. He was her inspiration. "Raghav... why won't Ai understand me?" Kalpi asked as if expecting him to answer. "Tum toh itne famous ho, kya tumme kabhi koi takleef nahi huy?" Kalpana often talked to Raghav's posters hung up in her room. Kamla hadn't minded as long as she fulfilled her wish of going to work in a "company". "Mujhe koi pyaar nahi karta" Kalpi cried. "Meri maddat koi bhi nahi karta."
She didn't know that as she sat crying on her bed, her favorite actor Raghav Singhaniya's flight had landed. He was coming back to Mumbai to take a break from acting. She didn't know that there was someone who would love her. There was someone who would help her. Someone who would make her dreams his.

Kalpi heard a knock on her bedroom door and wiping her tears away said, "Come in." She saw that it was Paakhi visiting. "Hey Paakhi come on in" she said smiling. Paakhi sat down next to her looking at the new poster of Raghav. "Yeh latest movie poster hai kya?" Paakhi asked curiously. "Haan" Kalpi said smiling shyly while admiring the poster. "Vah tumaara favorite actor to chaiya hua hai" Paakhi said winking at her. "Tu usse chaati toh nahi?" "Paakhi!" Kalpi said. "Mein toh usse milli bhi nahi voh toh bas meine usski movies dekhi hai." "Koi baat nahi mill bhi lena tu usse jab tum film industry mein usski heroine banegi" Paakhi said with a smile.
As she said that, Paakhi noticed Kalpi's face getting really sad. "Kya hua Kalpi?" she asked. "Ai chaati hai ki mein Raizaada Group of Industries mein kaam karoon" Kalpi said. "Acha? Lekeen tumne usse bataiya ki tu actress-" Paakhi said. "Haan Paakhi, lekeen tu toh meri Ai ko jaanti hi hai na" Kalpi said. "We'll do something" Paakhi said. "No there's nothing we can do" Kalpi said sadly. "Tomorrow I am going to apply for work at Raizaada Group of Industries." "Lekeen tere sapne-" "Paakhi, filaal mein Ai ke sapne pure karungi" Kalpana said. Paakhi hugged her dear friend. She was sacrificing her dreams for her mother's dream.

Precap: Kalpi gets a job in Sammy's office. Raghav comes to visit his best friend Sammy in his office and notices Kalpi.
