Kalpana watches as Raghav picks up his phone and calls someone. "You are to tell me when Kalpana's Aaji arrives at the food market."
After he had hung up, Kalpana rolled her eyes. "Sir" she said. "Aaji won't be going to the food market." Raghav gave Kalpi a look that said I know. "I get it Kalpi, but you are to take her there" Raghav told her. "First of all, Mr. Singhania" Kalpana said. "If Aaji ever listened to me in the first place then we wouldn't be even doing this." "Second, what are you planning to do?" Raghav looked at Kalpana's furious face. "I do not reveal my plans" Raghav said. "How to take her there is your problem not mine, got it?" Kalpana shook her head. The person changed colors in minutes. First he was being her friend and now he was bossing her around. "Fine" Kalpana said as she got up and walked out of the office. Raghav let out a sigh as the tension walked out of the office. She didn't seem to be in a good mood today.
Raghav allowed Kalpana to go home early that day as to put their plan into action. When Kalpana was sure that Aaji was listening, she started to talk into her phone. "Ya know Paakhi, there's a HUGE sale in the foods market today, mhm and you know pani puri is really so great to eat!" Kalpana watched out of the corner of her eye as Aaji cupped her ear to listen more closely to Kalpi. "Of course I'm going alone, I don't need a buddi to accompany me" Kalpana said biting her tongue a little at the end of the phrase. Aaji's eyes widened at this. "Okay talk to you later Paakhi bye" Kalpana said hanging up.
Kalpana picked up her purse and started to leave. "Stop!" Aaji ordered her angrily. "I'm going!" "Okay, let's go" Kalpi said to her, pretending to be sad. "You're not going!" Aaji said. "Only I get to go, got that?" "And you go wash the dishes!" Kalpana wanted to go with Aaji to see what Raghav would do but she couldn't say no to Aaji. "Ok fine.." Kalpana said.
After Aaji had put on her bangles and bindi😆 she left. "Where's sasu?" Kamla asked Kalpi when she was washing the dishes. "Ai, actually she went to the food market" Kalpana said truthfully. "You should have gone with her na.." Kamla told her daughter. "I myself wanted to Ai, but you know how stubborn she is." "I agree" Kamla said smiling. She was happy to be rid of Aaji for a few hours. "I'll do the dishes hon, you go to your room and do your office work." "Okay" Kalpi said brightly, already seeing the effects of a non-Aaji house.
As soon as Kalpana got into her room, she threw an air kiss at her favorite actor's poster. She loved him for this. Well for whatever he was about to do.😆 She was in a really good mood.
She dialed Raghav's number but to her disappointment he wasn't answering her call. "Ignorant kahi ka" Kalpana said with a pout and threw her phone on the bed.
Meanwhile, Raghav "accidentally" meets Kalpana's gramma at the food market. "Hella" Aaji greeted him excitedly. "It's hello" Raghav said. "Eh?" Aaji asked confused. "Me..Kalpana's boss..you remember me?" Raghav asked her. "Yes! Yes!" Aaji said foolishly bowing before him. "I want to talk with you..may I?" Raghav asked holding out his arm for Aaji to take. Aaji blushed while swinging her arm around Raghav's.🤣 "You can have my glasses" Raghav said handing her his dark black hero-type glasses. "Thank OOO beta, love you" Aaji said grabbing it. Raghav watched patiently as Aaji put them on. "Beta, why am I seeing dark dark?" Aaji asked him as they walked on. "Sun glasses protect your eyes from the sun that's why" Raghav explained. "Oh!" Aaji said nodding. Aaji smirked at the jealous Aajis of the neighborhood.😆 They all wished to be in her place. Raghav watched her cute antics and wondered why she couldn't be nice to Kalpana.
At the coffee shop Raghav pulled a chair for Aaji as she sat down. "Coffee?" Raghav asked. "Okay" Aaji said looking around the big shop. Once Aaji was sipping her coffee, Raghav started to talk. "Aaji, I hear you actually have a house in the village, so why are you living here in this city? You should've stayed na at the silent place." "I can" Aaji said to him. "But-" Aaji shot him a look. "Why should I share with you? I only share with friends" Aaji said trying to get him to be her friend.😆 Raghav extended his hand. "So we can be friends." Raghav said simply. Aaji slapped his hand thinking that was how to high-five. "Ow!" Raghav muttered. "Okay so continue" Raghav told Aaji.
"Son, I am getting old and of course, I don't earn enough to meet my needs and wants." "Kamla's house makes me the boss and I get whatever I want, otherwise who wants to stay here." Raghav raised his eyebrow. "May I ask a question?" he asked out of curiosity. Aaji nodded. "Why are you so rude to Kalpana?" Aaji looked down clearly embarrassed. "Beta, I really don't want to show any love to anyone. I used to treat my husband with love but he never respected women. After that I learned only to love myself that's it."
Raghav mentally slapped himself thinking why was he getting so personal. "I would like to help you" Raghav said brightly. "You may go back to your village. I promise to pay your day to day funds PLUS some money for you to keep-like you know for enjoying." "Every month." Aaji looked up. "Really son? You'd do that?" "Yes" Raghav said. "You can go back to village today only, I'll provide the transportation." Aaji stood up and hugged Raghav. "Thank you so much hon" she said to him. Raghav didn't know why but he felt that Aaji and him got along well and he really felt some grand motherly connection to her. Maybe because he never had his own grandmother to know. "And don't worry, I'll come time to time to meet you and see how you are" Raghav said before he realized what he was saying. "God Bless you, child" Aaji said patting his head. Raghav felt that there was a reason behind everyone's rudeness, maybe they just needed to show some love to Aaji and make her life nice. "You may call me Aaji" she said as she was about to leave. Raghav nodded and said, "Bye Aaji, and please the fact that I will pay all your funds, could you keep it a secret?" Aaji nodded at him. "It's all good, son."
That day Aaji had left the house without giving them all a real reason. "I'll visit you guys some time" Aaji told them happily. "Bye beta" she said pulling Kalpi's cheek kindly. "Achieve more and more success in life, beta, get your EK MUTTHI AASMAN beta, love you" Aaji said. Kalpana was SHOCKED and kind of hurt.
She had always craved for her Aaji's love as well. And now when she was leaving she was showering Kalpana with so much love. Why couldn't she stay and be kind to her? Kalpana sighed. You can't have everything in life after all.
After Aaji had left, Vitthal had given Kamla a look and Kamla got the signal. "Kalpana, that day you were talking about a play na.." Kalpana nodded still in shock that Aaji had left once and for all. "Vitthal and I agree to it BUT keep in mind it should not affect your work." "Sach?" Kalpana said cheerfully. "Thank you so much AI BABA." "Come here" Vitthal told his daughter and hugged her. He realized that it felt good to love his children. Aaji just never had allowed him to experience that feeling.
Kamla felt some jealousy. She wanted Kalpi to love her too.
That day Kalpana was very very happy and had a good nights sleep. Her dream of acting was coming true. Sure it was only a community play but still acting was her passion.
The next day Kalpana rushed to Sammy's house to meet Raghav and tell him the good news. "Sammy Sir, may I talk with Raghav Sir?" Kalpana said failing to hide her excitement. Sammy saw that Kalpana was very eager to meet Raghav. He didn't want to hurt her feelings but he had to say this. Sammy looked embarrassed as he said, "Kalpana, Raghav had gotten a good movie offer so he had to leave. And I guess his vacation is over now, so he went back." Kalpana's smile vanished to be replaced by a hurt expression. He had led her to victory and now when she finally had achieved taking a small step towards her goal, he had left? Just like that? Without informing her? Sammy heard Kalpana sob and fall to her knees. Her tutor, the one who had taught her how to stand up to people and go on to achieve dreams had left her in between. Sammy bent down and put a hand on Kalpana's shoulder. "I'm sorry Kalpana but after all he had to leave one day na.." Sammy said, though he was aware of Kalpana and Raghav's beautiful bond that even they didn't know existed. Kalpana put her head on Sammy's shoulder and cried while Sammy tried to console her.
