The sky was blue and beginning to darken with stray wisps of teenage clouds lagging behind the older clouds of hours ago...

Raghav's first date awaits, as he played around with the Cutlery nervously fixing all that din need to be fixed, tightened his new blue silk tie, loosened it again, opened the button of navy blue suit jacket, decided to close it again , his feelings were stirring him inside , glancing at his watch he hoped kalpana would come ...

Kalpana left her home , dressed at her simplicity best , drove down narrow winding road slowly, reached her destination.. car headlights, startled moths, wild flowers, moonlight and found a tiny fishing boat, sand velvety brown teased by approaching tide. But it wasn't sea that took her breath away it was sight of raghav , dressed in smart new suit, beside small beautifully set Table for two, candle flickering in the centre, this sight was enough to bring a tear from a stone.

The sight was enough to bring a tear from a stone. It was an image that she had stamped in her mind. And there raghav was , standing in the picture that she had painted so vividly.. she understood the phrase of not knowing whether to laugh or cry and so she unashamedly did both...

Raghav stood proudly, his eyes glistening in the moonlight. He ignored her tears or rather accepted them..

My dear he bowed your moonlit dinner awaits you..

Wiping her eyes and smiling a smile so big she felt she could light d entire world.. she extended her hand and both moved on..

raghav took a sharp intake of breath wow , kalpana u look stunning.. looking beautiful is my favorite thing to do now she thought, taking his arm and allowing him to lead her to dinner table..

The white table flapped in the light warm breeze and kalpana's hair tickled her cheek.. raghav pulled out her chair for her and she sat..

Raghav, this is beautiful Thnkyoo She whispered.. thank you for coming he smiled, pouring her a glass of wine.. the muscles in his face seem relaxed.. she wrapped the shawl tighter around her shoulders as the breeze began to chill... After dinner raghav looked at kalpana who had her hands wrapped around wine glass and starring wistfully out to sea..

As they both walked down, they saw black cloudless sky, with hive of activity, stars glowed brighter than she had ever seen, some darting across the sky, she stumbled in the sand dune, removed her slippers, took few steps closer to raghav, its beautiful' she whispered. They studied each others face in comfortable silence until more action above diverted their attention distracted by a shooting star... make a wish' he yelled...hmm she hummed stared at him (wishing).. just then he was on his knees he went on to say something that would change their relationship to another level.. he went on and said I love u kalpi.. I love you.. I love you for the fact that u made me learn about the strong bonds and relationships that people should have in life... I love you for the fact that your simplicity beholds everything.. I love you for the fact... And its starts raining.. kalpana on the other hand was in tears .. the tears that dwelled with tears of rain ... perhaps it was tears of joy.. both din quite bother about rain.. she turns back shyly he gets up from his knees turns her around .. say something kalpana.. she says sir.. sir... I ... hmm I ... sir I m getting late, lets go back.. raghav disheartened turns back.. A brief pause.. just then kalpana shouts out I love you raghav... I... LOVE... YOU... his head straightened lips curved up to a broad smile turns to heR and followed by a passionate hug.. A Hug that probably will cherish their memories in the future .. A hug that symbolises that they are now forever and nobody can separate them.. with tears of joy also continues from the heavenly sky.. she looks up and says my wish is fulfilled.
