OS - THE FIRST HUG.
From his face expression, Kalpi almost confirmed that he has read the mail.
And, yes, kalpi was right. He read her mail. Though he knows the exact reason, why she wants to quit, he thought she never come up straight saying that. But, he was wrong.
He felt very uncomfortable sitting in his cabin after reading her email. He called Sammy on his intercom and informed him that he is not feeling great and wants to take some rest and hence going home.
He came out of his cabin and slowly passed through kalpana without failing to look a glance of her. Kalpana too observed him going out. She was worried as he has not reacted to her email at all.
After about half an hour, Raghav called Sammy and asked him to send a file to his home through Kalpana. When Sammy told about this to kalpana, though kalpana was not at all interested to go to his home, reluctanty she agreed to do so.
She entered the reception area of his flat and informed the security to meet Raghav.
"aap aane se aapko andhar bejne ke liye saab ne instruction diya hai muje", aap andhar ja sakthi hai. Saab se poochne ki zaroorat nahi hai.
Kalpana is not at all in the mood to go inside. She was thinking how to face him, especially after sending the email. Kalpi, pata nahi yeh kiske liye muje bhulaya hai, ek cheez toh pakka hai, yeh file toh ek bahana hai. Pata nahi kya kya sunna padega tumko. Thousands of thoughts came to her mind and she was extremely tensed to knock his door. But still she did.
"kalpi", Raghav murmured, hearing the knock in the door. He somehow started feeling her presence.
He opened the door keeping a straight face and saw her standing in front of him.
"sir, F..il..e..sammy sir, aapko dhene ke liye kaha.
He took the file from her. "come in Ms.Jadav".
"its okay, sir" still standing near the door, she said.
"I am not going to eat you, come in", he ordered her.
She came in slowly and reluctantly. He locked the door. She was bit scared hearing the door closed. But still she trusted him.
He took the file and sat on the sofa and started going through the file. Kalpana don't know what to do. She was just standing there and waiting for his instructions.
Kya ek cup coffee bana sakthi ho, he asked her without seeing her.
She was like "what the" but was standing there without doing anything or should say what to do with this guy type.
"kitchen wahan Ms.Jadav" - he just showed his finger to her again without seeing her.
She was pushed to no other option than to go to the kitchen. She went there. Everything in the kitchen was very neatly kept and she started searching for milk.
"black coffee without sugar" - she heared his voice.
Kadoos hai, toh aisa hi piyega..she thought in her mind and switched on the coffee maker and prepared the coffee.
Pata nahi eh cups kahan hai, thinking this, her eyes went through the kitchen.
The cups are in the above shelf, Ms.Jadav - she heared his voice again.
Eh kya file dekh raha hai ya mujhe dekh raha hai...she thought and took the cups and poured the coffee in the cup and kept it in a serving tray and brought.
She kept it in his table. Still going through the file, he said "thank you".
She was standing there still and her mind stopped working. She just wants to go back and waiting for his next order.
He took the coffee cup and sipped it. "good", "nice coffee".
By the way, Ms.Jadav, I read your email - he said seeing her face.
She really went blank hearing this and her face showed a mixed emotions and her legs were ready to run away from him. He got up from his place and slowly came to her and stood behind her very closely and started observing her. She could not take his gaze and all her controlled emotions started showing in her eyes and she tried hard to control her tears.
So, now, you have a valid reason for your resignation.Right. Ms.Jadav.
She went speechless and just shook her head saying a yes.
Par, mere liye yeh valid reason nahi hai.
Telling this, he came in front of her and so close to her. She started fighting with her emotions and she slowly realized that she is failing every micro second with her mind.
He took both his hands and slowly kept that in her shoulders and told her...kalpi, yahan dekho, muje dekho...
She saw him and her eyes filled with tears of shock and fear.
Toh tum uss raat ko bhulane chahti ho, aur isiliye tum resign karna chahti ho...hai na...
She was speechless and his close proximity and his gaze on her eyes started killing her.
mein uss raath ko har din aur har raath yaad karna chahta hoon, kyunki, mere liye uss raath meri zindagi ka haseen raath tha, aur mera poora zindagi, har phal, main tumhari chehra dekhna chahta hoon.
Tears started flowing down the cheeks of kalpana and without wasting a second, Raghav hugged her tightly.
