Did the doctor have to talk about me to Raghav. Now how will I go in front of him. What will I say? He is surely going to ask me about that, but I really just want him to forget. What do I do? I can't just leave, can I? No Kalpi, you have to make sure that he reaches his place safely. You have to stay with him. Come on. There is nothing to be afraid of. You're a brave girl. Kalpi walks back to Raghav's room with the discharge papers and notices the door closed. Should I knock? Of course you should knock, you wouldn't want to just barge in, what if he is changing. Kalpi knocks three times and receives no answer on the other side. She knocks again. Still no answer. Why isn't he answering? Kalpi slowly opens the door to the room and looks around carefully and doesn't see Raghav anywhere. She walks in. Just as she was about the call his name and turns around she bumps into something, falling on the bed, with that something on top of her. Kalpi slowly opens her eyes and sees that it is Raghav. They are staring into each other's eyes getting lost in them. Forgetting about their surroundings. Waqt jaise thum gaya ho.
There was a strand of hair that was covering Kalpi's face and Raghav did not like that. He did not want even a millimeter of his Kalpi's face hidden from him. He brings his hands up and brushes the hair away from her face. Letting his fingers linger on her face a little longer than necessary because he love the feeling his fingers were giving. They were tingling. He brought his fingers down towards her lips. I just want to...WHAT SNAP OUT OF IT RAGHAV!
Raghav quickly got out of his trance and Kalpi soon after. He quickly got up off of her and stood. Trying to look anywhere but toward Kalpi. "Sorry."
Kalpi shockingly looks toward Raghav. Sorry aur thank you ek hi din mein. The two words that she would never have believed that Raghav Singhania would ever use, he used in one day and on her. Wow, very astonishing. "N..n..no, s..s..sir. I...it w..as my f..f..fault. I should h..h..have watched where I was going." Kalpi was stuttering so bad from what just happened a moment ago. Trying to put it together. The way that Raghav looked at her and the way that his fingers felt on her skin. What was that?
"Just forget it, did you get the discharge papers?" Raghav just wanted to get this uncomfortable feeling out and just wanted to go. "Yes, Sir." Raghav nods his head and heads toward the door. "I called Sammy, he should be here by now. Come we will drop you off on our way." "Thank you, Sir."
They head out and sure enough, there was Sammy. He gets out of the car, "Raghav, how did this happen?" Raghav holds his hand up for Sammy to stop. "Just forget about it and let's go." Sammy reluctantly lets it go and sits in the driver seat. Raghav opens the back door for Kalpi to get in and she does and closes the door and himself sits in the front passenger seat. "Drop Kalpi off at her home along the way, Sammy." "I already figured, you don't have to say anything Raghav. And by the way, thank you Kalpi for bringing Raghav to the hospital. This is my brother right here, if anything happened to him..." "No...no...sir. You don't have to say thank you. I just did what I should have." Kalpi did not let Sammy finish what he was going to say, she can't even imagine something bad happening to Raghav and would surly not be able to handle even hearing about it, even if hypothetically. What is happening to you Kalpi, why are you thinking like this?
As Sammy and Kalpi were talking, Raghav was watching Kalpi from the rear view mirror that he position just so that he could see her. He made sure that neither Kalpi nor Sammy noticed this. They were too busy in their little conversation. The whole ride to the chawl, he just stayed in that trance watching Kalpi. Until the car came to an abrupt stop breaking the trance that he was in. "Well Miss Yadev, aapka ghar ah gaya. It has been a pleasure meeting you again." This caught Raghav's attention. They have met before? When? Where?
Kalpi smiled at Sammy. "Same here, and thank you for the lift." She looked at the back of the head of Raghav "Take care, Sir. And make sure that you take your medications on time." The concern in her voice. It did something. It really touched his heart. She cares, his Kalpi cares about him. He gives a small smile towards her and nods his head agreeing to what she said. Kalpi's smile brightens and she gets out of the car and wave bye to them and heads to her home.
"So...what's the meaning of adjusting the mirror so that it was directly looking at Kalpi and staring the whole way here." "Oh shut up Sammy." Raghav was turning red. He couldn't believe that he got caught. Sammy just laughed at his antics. Great, now I will never get to hear the end of this.
