Just because someone has cancer Doesnt mean they should stop living their life when we wasn't getting virman scenes which were full of romance and masti then everyone was complaining and now when manvi is better she is trying to move on still people are complaining I mean make up your mind let manvi live her life manvi didnt ask jeevika to abort her baby and donate bone marrow but it was jeevika decision so i dont see why manvi should sulk let manvi be happy for once

@madpaki I agree with u 300%... like I feel like no one is ever satisfied in maker or actor that might read this forum deff prob hate everyone on it... and I dont think Manvi needs to lead a miserable life, Jeevika gave her bown marrow with HER OWNNN will... and Manvi should always be super happy everyday, she has no reason too be miserable ow that she is better.

Nobody's claiming that they should stop living their life. I don't mind what this serial shows, just as long as they try to be somewhat realistic. Maanvi made a huge deal about "chutku" and how much she loved the baby. She told Jeevika that she would never forgive her if Jeevika aborted her baby for Maanvi. Now it hasn't been long since Maanvi found out what Jeevika has done and she's already the same bubbly girl. I'm not saying that she shouldn't be happy... I'm just trying to say that they've made a mockery out of the whole cancer/sacrifice scenario. Realistically, if someone has bonded so much with their pregnant sister's child they won't get over their grief so quickly.

Once again, just my opinion.

Yes, everyone knew that Jeevika would abort for Maanvi and she would end up forgiving her sister. I'm not trying to say that Maanvi shouldn't have forgiven Jeevika. It's good that they didn't drag that Maanvi was angry at Jeevika for a long time, but sometimes there's a problem in serials when they don't prolong a track enough because it makes it hard for the audience to relate to. That's where my problem is. One episode you see Maanvi shocked and upset, and then suddenly she becomes her usual bubbly self? In such a serious situation in real life, it wouldn't be so easy for a real life Maanvi to forgive a real life Jeevika. Yes, Jeevika had the right intentions but from Maanvi's POV they were completely wrong. I feel like I'm rambling lol. Don't get me wrong, the concept of EHMMBH is nice, and I did like how they initially started the cancer track. But if they stayed true to the topic, made it more realistic/logical, and did their research I feel like it would have connected with the viewers more. This is also where I feel their TRPs slipped.

I gave up on this show seriously and only tolerate it coz of kryan. (Who have been wasted) - The cancer track was the biggest insult and fail.. I have a cousin who suffered and passed away from cancer and I feel it insulted people that actually also suffer from it now. And the abortion?? Seriously. The only plus point of that abortion track was karan and krystle's acting, otherwise I think they have butchered virika immensely as well as all the characters. This show is only a shadow of its former self when it first began. Now its becoming a joke and theres no balance and no proper story. The CVs are running out of ideas.

TM, thank you for voicing my thoughts. I once used to love this show as I loved the Virat-Maanvi relationship. It was a light-hearted show that was genuinely different. That was until they brought in this cancer track and, as you rightly said, made a mockery of it. Having had an uncle pass away from leukaemia, I know that one bone marrow transplant is by no means a cure. Ever since the truth of Maanvi's cancer was revealed I have not watched a single full episode. The show has lost its magic for me and I don't know how it'll get it back. I felt offended seeing cancer being portrayed in that way. I still read the LUs on here but I have a feeling even that will stop after a whole. I'm not here to bash the show, I'm just explaining my reasoning behind my thinking.

Edit: Please don't get me started on the abortion track. Yet another thing that offended me to no end.

it's so amazing how people are bashing characters just to appreciate their own favorites. and I completely agree with the people who said that Manvi has a right to be happy.

It was Jeevika's decision to abort the baby, where is Manvi's fault in this? Why don't you say, "Jeevika is disgusting?" You don't say that because Jeevika was saving someone's (Manvi's) life by aborting her baby, so we know Jeevika is not bad. The same way, if you say, "Manvi is weird for not grieving for her nephew/nieces death," you are basically saying it was Manvi's fault that Jeevika's baby died.

You are saying they should've showed more of the track, and if they did do that, you just would've said they are dragging it too much.

And, personally I hate the times when all Jeevika and Manvi do is cry and cry. So I would not like to see Manvi/Jeevika being sad for what has already happened. They cannot change the past by being sad about it. In real life, people cry over the dead for two days and then move on with their life. That is how real life is, so there is no point in complaining about it.
