Guys, everyone has a right to their opinions as long as they are expressed respectfully. Please stop fighting and telling each other what to do. Topic under watch and any further fighting, bashing each other or rule-breaking will lead to consequences - EHMMBH DT

it's so amazing how people are bashing characters just to appreciate their own favorites. and I completely agree with the people who said that Manvi has a right to be happy.

It was Jeevika's decision to abort the baby, where is Manvi's fault in this? Why don't you say, "Jeevika is disgusting?" You don't say that because Jeevika was saving someone's (Manvi's) life by aborting her baby, so we know Jeevika is not bad. The same way, if you say, "Manvi is weird for not grieving for her nephew/nieces death," you are basically saying it was Manvi's fault that Jeevika's baby died.

You are saying they should've showed more of the track, and if they did do that, you just would've said they are dragging it too much.

And, personally I hate the times when all Jeevika and Manvi do is cry and cry. So I would not like to see Manvi/Jeevika being sad for what has already happened. They cannot change the past by being sad about it. In real life, people cry over the dead for two days and then move on with their life. That is how real life is, so there is no point in complaining about it.

@Bold Nobody is blaming Maanvi. It's just the fact that she made a big deal about it herself, giving an ultimatum to Jeevika. She seemed to be so invested in the baby, and now that it's gone one would expect a bigger reaction from her. I mean, why make Maanvi give Jeevika that ultimatum for being her donor (if you abort the baby I won't talk to you or something along those lines) if she wasn't going to feel very sorrowful about it for a while. Plus Viren, Jeevika and Virat kept it from Maanvi for such a long time because they knew she wouldn't accept anything like that. Her sorrow was very unconvincing in my opinion... they should have made her slowly start to smile again.

@Italics I don't like it when characters cry non-stop in shows either. But if you're going to have your characters deal with the loss of something they're so attached to, it's realistic that they'll feel down for a while. Yes, people do cry over the dead for a few days in real life, but they don't go back to their happy, bubbly self right away. It takes time, they gradually heal all wounds. But Maanvi was sad in one episode, and she took a complete 180 degree turn and turned happy in another. It was kind of surprising.

'make it more realistic, make it more realistic, make it more realistic'.
getting sick and tired of hearing this now!
point 1) which show out there is FULL ON REALISTIC??? take DABH...does that happen in real life? a terrorist living in your house and not knowing about it??? or not realising who the person behind the mask is-the so called doctor scene???? etc??? lets now think of IPKKND-is that realistic? someone gets kidnapped for 2 months and the family dont batt an eyelid when they dont hear from him??? or the fact that his dad had an affair with his mrs' to be mom and the dadi reveals all on the end moment - where everyone is watching, izaat well and truly down the drain. do i need to go on???
ehmmbh has been realistic with the cancer track SOMEWHAT, they've made bloopers...but so what. it still worked.
point 2) i have also lost 3 people to cancer, one being my dad... would i want to see those emotions portrayed on tv every single day to make me relive everything? HELL NO!!!! agreed, manvi was annoying me too, coz she keeps talking about herself in the last 2 days, but i realised-she had cancer, she thought she was gonna die, the end of everything, she wouldnt be able to see the people she loved ever again... BUT she fought it with her sister and shes better now, so of course shes gonna be happy and take advantage of it all... let her be happy, she was a cancer patient, she needs to be happy, the people who love her were dying with her everyday seeing her like that...so let them be happy too!!!
point 3) if its that annoying to watch...we all have a remote control!!!
point 4)... I LOVE VIRAT/KUSHAL... not really relevant, but i had to throw it in lol!

I'll just comment on point one. I don't want to get into other shows since comparisons aren't allowed to be made, but I have watched some shows which are a lot more realistic than this. Since you brought up DABH, I'll use that as an example. The terrorist does live under their roof, yes, but who said that wasn't possible? There's a difference between realistic/unrealistic and possible/impossible. In DABH, they justified it showing a fake passport, etc. I agree there were some bloopers here and there, but for the cancer track of EHMMBH, they had everything wrong. She showed symptoms like once every month. They said she was in her final stage, yet she looked very healthy. Later on, when they finally remembered to give her the symptoms (dizziness, passing out, etc), it was almost hard to believe because at one moment she had been extremely healthy looking and then the next... she was coughing. If she was truly in her final stage, she would have been having these symptoms for a long time. It was just extremely unconvincing and I know a lot of people who were very offended by it. Anyways, I'm not going to go into the signs and symptoms of cancer since everyone could google it. The cancer track was very unrealistic. Since cancer was a main focus in this show, they should have done it more justice is what I'm trying to say.

@Ilovepyaar well, eventually Manvi did keep her words by being angry at Jeevika. If you want Manvi to be sad over Jeevika's baby, then you should tell Viren to stop make her understand what is the right thing. If Manvi didn't forgive Jeevika after everyone made her understand Jeevika's sacrifice, people would've called her selfish and a baby. So, none of the tracks can be perfect, because there is always a person who disagrees.

And about the loss, I think Manvi has more to be happy about. She just recovered from cancer, is getting married. Please don't starts saying I don't understand the value of life for what I am going to say now. Jeevika's baby wasn't even born, and Manvi knows Jeevika can have a baby again, so she might think what is the point of being sad?

@ilovepyaar
I don't it was ever said that Manvi in her last stage of cancer. I think they said 2nd stage. Also, I don't think people with cancer look ill all the time...

They mentioned once it was the last stage. And even if they didn't mention it, it would make sense because towards the end of the track she had a few days to live. Actually, for someone who's in their last few stages of cancer, they typically do look very ill.

Anyways, I just wanted to get some of this off my chest. I used to watch this show because of the concept of two sisters with undying love for each other. But now it's become so unrealistic that it's hard for me to watch, so I resort to the updates.

If I do catch a few episodes, it's for VirIka's acting.

Alrighty, I'm off now! It was nice talking to you guys!

@ TM if you say Manvi should still be sad after recovering from cancer because Jeevika's baby died, it is like saying Jeevika shouldn't have been happy when she learned she was pregnant because Manvi had cancer then.

No offense to anyone, it is just what I think...

Ok agreed thad they made a mockery out of cancer. But this post's main intention seems to be bringing Manvi down 😆 If not, I am sorry.

So, what was your problem? Manvi eating icecream with Virat and not caring about what her sister will be going through. I ll give you a similar example that occured earlier in the show during Mumbai track just with a role reversal of Manvi and Jeevika. Jeevika was busy coochie cooing with her Viren ji while her baby sis was suffering on the other side😆

What I am trying to tell is, inconsistency is the other name of EHMMBH. So this happens, no matter what😆 We can just take out our frustration on it. Nothing else we can do.

Cheers !!
